  1. Chinahat FWD Long will slave all sensors to the SPI. Even if it's not your SOI. So my guess would be that you've not correctly set your SPI on the target, and thus the sensors are reverting to the "previous" SPI.
  2. Yea particularly those small Circlips can be a PITA to remove and install... A pair of needle pliers help greatly :)
  3. Remove the little C-clip on one end, and the little axle comes right out, enabling you to remove the pinky lever.
  4. *More* pushbuttons on the grip?!?? It's already got 16 buttons + the hat switch, how much more could you fit on it? Why are 3-way switches specific? Find me a plane without them. The stick has two easily reachable pushbuttons for modifiers: the two pinky buttons. I still fail to follow (most of) your logic here... Agreed on the low quality slew and the lack of a rotary on the throttle. The latter is indeed something it could do with very nicely. On the other hand, I have yet to find a function where I had to have one, where I could not find another way of mapping the relevant function.
  5. I'm really mythed at people calling the TMWH too specific.. If you didn't know the same hotas could be found in the A-10/F-16 it would be just as universal as any other hotas, except for the labeling of the switches maybe.
  6. So? You see me complaining? No I won't simply "accept" criticism. Why should/would I? If there is criticism surely it can handle some opposed argumentation no? Otherwise it's just criticism for the criticism.
  7. Don't like many versions? Don't install it. Simple as that, nothing more, nothing less. We're granted (early) access via the beta/alpha versions, and if you only want to fly in a finished version, please do so and don't start moaning about multiple versions *sigh*
  8. Errr okay :P What's it supposed to like like? :) (apart from the obvious centre handle for eject vs the side handles from the A-10..)
  9. Can you tell what it is yet? :music_whistling:
  10. For MultiCrew ;)
  11. I know right! Quite surprised me at the quantity of DCS stuff! Excellent! Action photograph :music_whistling: :megalol: LOL!
  12. That's FSX ;)
  13. Thanks! Was about to PM you back actually :P Yea I quite like the look of it! But it's not actually bare aluminium, it's anodized :music_whistling:
  14. Okay! Update time. Spent almost the entire day working on the pit and I've gotta say - a day well spent. Things done: - L/G Rewire to BU0836 - Fix L/G Lever - Upgrade AHCP switches - Implement Battery panel (though I have to invert one switch) Managed to pull the knob off without it breaking *YAY!* BU0836 rewired Aaaaand managed to find 10x10 aluminium tube!! *yaaaay!!!* About to glue the end-knob on: Kept looking left... *it's calling me? :P * And the end result:
  15. OK - I can be classified as an idiot :music_whistling: The UFC buttons where like that originally - they didn't fade... Found some old posts again of the UFC and it showed the buttons as they are.. So I'll leave them like they are and figure out how to wire up the LED buttons. So - the L/G lever and chair upgrades are the most important upgrades. Tomorrow I'm going to rewire the L/G panel to a seperate BU0836 and upgrade the switches on the AHCP to quality switches and some more locking toggle switches (same as the TGP switch).
  16. PM :) PM :) Yes I agree on the bodgejob... Going for a new handle.
  17. Hi! Yes certainly, thanks for thinking! I've thought of that method but rejected it (for now!) because of possible cosmetical issues.. Another twist in the bend is the fact that there are two wires passing through the tube for the LED's in the L/G handle...
  18. And immediately to some "issues" I'm having. 1) Gear lever. It's uuhm... broken... It was made by TomDK (if I'm not mistaken.. it's been a while :P :music_whistling: ). Basically two aluminium square hollow tubes glued together. Unfortunately the glue failed... Anyone any suggestions? 2) UFC A while ago I acquired a UFC. It was in superb shape, as new and has been sitting in a box, in my room somewhere waiting to be built into my pit. I've recently unpacked it and to my surprise the black/dark grey paint of the buttons has faded off massively. But not the front panel... You can see the difference below. As you can see, it's quite a bit difference.
  19. Thanks mate!! Yea the bike is a beast! Lots of fun! I've always been around on the forums but not really posting. @Mr_Burns: Yep, that really is me :pilotfly: Thanks Newy :)
  20. Thank you so much sir! Unfortunately the red VFR is no more.. It's... shall we say, shorter.. (and a BMW GS is now as well), but I'll leave it at that. Fortunately, it has been replaced by my dream bike :) 2004 Kawasaki ZX-10R And some showing off :music_whistling:
  21. Time to drag this one back from the depths of the HomeCockpits dungeon... Winter season is inbound, and being inspired by the FlightSimWeekend at the Aviodrome in Lelystad, I'm going for some overhauling of my cockpit. During a left-over half hour at work yesterday I made a partial list of all the things I could think of for the cockpit. - Up Front Controller (UFC) o Acrylate glue o Paint for knobs o Acquire datasheet switch o LED Power Supply - Chair o General seat maintenance o Design/build Ejection Seat o Implement linear guidance - General maintenance o Implement steppermotor § Purpose yet unknown § Develop/implement stepperdriver o Upgrade AHCP switches o Develop new method screenholder o Develop new method MFD holder o Maintenance on caution panel o Extra output connector caution panel o Implement battery panel - L/G Panel o Fix L/G Lever o Connect L/G indicator LED’s o Rewire L/G Lever on BU0836 board - TM Warthog extender - TM Warthog lubricate Regarding some of these items I may come to some of you for questions.
  22. Don't forget the actual age of the DCS:Ka-50 model versus the mig21bis' model. It's just not fair to compare the quality. In light of it's age, I think the Ka-50 cockpit with the upgraded textures looks brilliant.

  24. ???????????????????????????????????????? (yes each question mark represents a potential question to this post.......)
