  1. That's the setup i use for my 4k TV(43")@1080TI / 1080p 24"@ Core i-5 IGP combination. Works like a charm. But I think I will try the Reshade/SweetFX option to gain some extra frames. (Actually my 4k is only QFHD TV (3840x2160 px). Frames are in the mid 40's (says FRAPS) at a reasonable picture quality on the main display. MFD's are exported to the 1080p display. I tried a 1080p resolution on the TV but I didn't suceed. Also experimental 30Hz on the TV was a mess.
  5. Really great add-on for my setup. The only drawback is the lack of backlight of the keys' secondary functions, while flying in the dark. At least, I have a reason to use my finger-light, now.
  6. Yes, I guess that was the video, I mentioned in the first post, STING TV is the name of the channel. After turning back my stick base and adjusting the grip to about 12° couunterclockwise, it still feels right and natural, my movements are adopting very quick. the degree of rotation may differ a bit with the distance between the body and stick/ shoulder width. That's the way I flew for the last couple of years, it felt good as well.
  7. Can't wait to hop in the pit...
  8. Worked extremely well. Thanks again!
  9. Thank you Deezle, as I already have an extension installed, I will have to turn back the base tomorrow. Already excited how my muscle-memory will react to that. Maybe just like a brand new start! Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk
  10. Apparently the wrong forum part. Mods please delete!
  11. Maybe the pitbuilders corner was too special for this question and someone of the broader pulic knows an answer: From the very start, I've been flying the A-10C, FA-18C (Falcon F-16 earlier) with my TM Cougar, later with my TM Warthog , always with a grip twist of about 15° counterclockwise. It still feels very natural for me. But after scanning through some youtube movies, I saw a guy (Sting TV, installing an Virpil extension in his FA-18 cockpit, while also having that stick twist to the left. So far, so good. What made me think, was the F-18 stick handle he showed at 0:21. The grip itself was twisted, but the part that connects to the base was straight. That gives the impression, that steering input is still aligned with the "cardinal" axis of the plane. Finally, here is my question: is the movement of the A-10 (where the stick is also twisted to fit the ergonomic needs of a center stick) still straight forward and perpendicular to the length axis of the airframe or does the whole stick need to be moved at those counterclockwise 15° ? I hope I could make clear, what troubles my mind
  12. *shifted to general A-10C forum*
  13. Have you tried to bind the keyboard commands (L Throttle engine Off/Right Throttle engine off ) in the sim A-10C keyboard settings to the corresponding detent buttons (Buttton 29 / Button 30)? Just delete the entry in the Throttle column (if something is already bound) and pull the corresponding lever from idle to off to have the button press recognized.
  14. Thanks Emmy, thanks Panther, I'll give that a try. Although I think my USB3 expansion card will give me an unsatisfyingly result.
  15. Anyone with a hint to shut down the MASTER CAUTION light after the PC shut down? (Apart from having an USB hub with on/off switches). Or is it just my :noexpression: Also some information about the different modes for the raygun software would be nice. I love my new UFC!
  16. Thank you for that information. Made me also check the rest of the TO 1A-10C-1 again. What I also found, the APU generator is switched off prior to the APU shutdown. But this happpens pages later, after engaging the SAS. shortly prior taxiing. Very interesting read. T.O. 1A-10C-1 [link removed]
  17. Not to be too much of a smart ass, but usually you engage generators after the engines are stabilized. On the other hand "APU Generator - Off" should be before "APU-OFF". The following Master Caution warning is normal. At least that's how it is done in some other aircrafts.
  18. Thank you and shame on me. Should have read one topic further on
  19. Dear fellow pilots, is there a way to edit the current flightplan by inserting a new waypoint between the existing waypoints? I tried, but I could only put the new (manually) created WP to the end of my flightplan. (reason for that is when you might get a re-routing to avoid f.e. threats). Thank you in advance!
  20. Nochmals vielen Dank, nach einer Windows 10 Reparatur-Installation hat es geklappt. Gesendet von meinem SM-T820 mit Tapatalk
  21. Thank you Andre, for your reply. I managed to install the SSA software after I re-installed Windows 10. Looks like something went fubar with rights / permissions. Runs brilliant by now. Gesendet von meinem SM-T820 mit Tapatalk
  22. Anyone else having difficulties with Windows 10 security alerts in installing the simshaker for aviators software? I disalbled almost every button in the defender but still no joy.
  23. Jetzt habe ich so unbgefähr alles was den Defender betrifft de-aktiviert. Ergebnis bleibt gleich :(
  24. Versuche ich, vielen Dank!
