M01 Stuck progression issue?

Hi, I got stuck in the 1st mission, so I'm continuing this thread. After I observe a crane and APC and Devil 31 reports findings to Anvil, all communication goes silent and the mission does not progress. Tapes are ON, radios are set to PRI CH12, AUX CH1. No idea, where is the problem. Probably some mess in the radio settings. Overall, I am very frustrated by the lack of clarity about communication in this campaign. Just overhear something, or misunderstand something, and the rest of communication goes silent. This is definitely realistic. In reality, one would ask in case of any ambiguity, which of course is not possible in DCS. Some F10 hint as to which channel the radio should be actually tuned to would always help. At the moment, all you have to do is tune the radio wrong once and you are lost in the following communication and you can restart the mission. -
I´ve just wasted a lot of time by looking for that bulding ... grrrrr

Thanks, this is a great campaign. I have to try some missions again. Mission 23 is my favourite one :-). -
CBU's fall too short, and bombs are only triggered individually

You're right, under these particular conditions it somehow works. However, under anything else, it doesn't. CBUs, even at CCRP, fall too short. I think this answers the question of whether ED can keep Razbam modules fully functional :-(. This bug has apparently been obviuos for months. Sad future of RB modules. -
Just a quick feedback. I am about halfway through the campaign and it's great. I can highly recommend it, as well as other Stone Sky campaigns (I have nearly all of them). I've now also started a Outpost campaign for the Mi-24P and it looks promising again :-). Thanks a lot.

Hi, just my short comment on the campaign. I'm about half of campaign and I have to say I'm not very excited. Missions are somewhat austere with several bugs. Compared to the other paid campaigns it lags somewhat. Persian Freedom, The Enemy Within 3 or Operation Piercing Fury are much better in my opinion. My rating is about 5/10.

HI, I had the same problem yesterday. The game stucked in ME and than it was impossible to run the game again. The same bad argument error. I tried almost everything with no luck. Indeed only new instalation of game helped. One piece of advice for others. Before uninstalling, it's a good idea to copy the MODS directory somewhere. There are all the maps, planes, etc. are. For me, this made about 500GB of data, which I then didn't have to download again. So the DCS installation itself took "only" about 200GB. Then you just need to move the MODS directory into the newly installed game.

Perhaps it is general DCS issue. In mission 3. When two enemy ships appear, they start to launch missiles, which hit themselves.

reported AI SEADs will not engage any SAMs

Just note, I tested it yesterday, AI SEAD F-16C blk.50 works fine, but F-16C blk.52 still dont engage. -

I had the same issue yestersay in mission 8 of Wild Weasels campaign. Unfortunately I didnt save the track. Perhaps next time. -
I have the same problem with two T-72. My attack direction is extactly 090 and still no permittion to attack :-(. Edit: problem solved ... it is importat to be at the right range from target ... not too far, not too close.

I like it now, because it is different than other maps. It would lost part of originality if you change it by the common way.

Hi BD, thanks for the video. My progress seems to be the same till about 23 min. of the video. Than in my case there are no more messages. No helo is landing.

Yeah, I am sure, because if I turn more, the missile than loss the track.

I lunched it in nose to nose possition, than started to turn. Track file is attached. I also attached screenshot of F10 map just before impact. The problem is not missile obviously, but radar of Migs and Suchois. Their radar keeps lock in too wide range of angles. r27.trk

You are probably right. Usually I order Jester to set Defensive Jamming. It is mode of continuous jamming probably. However, I am still confused by my tests in Mig. What is explanation of guiding R-27 to the bandit who is at my 4 oclock? In this position there shouldn´t be any lock on bandit.

Jammer is up to Jester, am I right? I didn't save a track file unfortunately, so I can't to confirm it. Hopefully a Jester 2.0 will be smarter and turn the jammer OFF ;-).

Hi, I was flying the Tomcat yesterday and hunted Mig-29. I fired Aim-54 from distance, Mig fired R-27R some time later. I was calm, because I knew he had to turn the plane and had to lost radar lock. Indeed, he turned even 180 so I was on his six, however his missile still hit me. How ????? I was curious about this behaviour so I did some tests. I jumped to the Mig-29 and fired some R-27R. I didn´t manage to reproduce this FOX 3 behaviour completely, but there is some issue still. I fired the missile and start to turn. The missile lost guidience indeed, but very late, when it was on my 130deg. I am confident that the radar of Mig has not such wide scale. I tested even R-27ER in Su-27 with the same result. Is it bug or correct?

Hi, does anybody else have a prolem with this mission? I am stuck at SP2, where waiting for order to attack. Apaches and huey are there, but no ground vehicles start to move. Probably path finding bug?

solved Unable to load rockets or gunpods when start from the ship

And I already know the answer ... it is my mistake . It seems to be problem only in one older particular mission. When I created a new misson, everything works fine. Sorry for confusion. -
As mentioned in the title I cant load any rockets or gunpods when I choose to start from some ship. Even when I choose the payload in ME (it looks loaded), than when the mission starts no rockets are loaded on the helo. Starts from ground or in the air are without any problem. Is it bug or my mistake?

I 100% sure there is some change of handling this helo after last patch. Now it is much more difficult to fly it for me. I think particular settings of trimming mode in Game Settings play significant role how the pilot feels the difference. What is important for me is if it is bug or "improvement" and I have to get used to it.
