Yes iwould like a skin that would make the yak-52 look as much like a A-6 Texan plus English cockpit.

That’s only part of it I’m trying to workout a pedal slippage Conter fix I’m almost to the point of buying a huey collective and the tm pedals but that around $1500 with shipping in addition to the. Pieces I’ve alres bought

That the ac I was forgetting last night the Texan. I’ll be looking for the usaf skin and English cockpit mod to begin a serious usaf flight training program , I guess the f5 would do. For a t-38 then on to a fighter. The the usaf flies which right now would be the a-10c u less I swap branches or do a exchange program. It appears the us branches are not equally supplied USA - uh-1h Usaf- fc3 ac a-10a, f-15 full A-10C Navy f-18c, uh-1h Marines f-18, av-8, uh-1h I believe that is the current ac Future are f-14. And a-64 I’m referring to the operational ac and not ai The usaf have a couple more in ai f-16, c-135, awacs now if they would expand the ai ac to operational that would be great

I was looking at all the mods available I saw intermediate trainers for about every part of the world except the USA t-38 and for beginner level trainers the only one I see is the ussr yak-52. Is that correct? If you wanted to train virtually like a USA fighter pilot there is no available beginning or intermediate trainers just the final jet fighter. I’m not positive what the us uses for beginner trainers except the academy’s gliders and Cessnas.

Ok I did. See the seat in. The video. It makes sense now Nice setup

In the case of Joint Task Force Heavy we operate under the premise of joint serves working together. Currently it mainly USA aircraft with each service having a squadron under the task force if they use the ac. We do have plans for a foreign NATO service unit and a aggressor unit in the future for Warsaw units and aircraft. We are small expanding group that enjoy flying

The black metal frame that the pedals seem to. Be sitting in from the angle of the video. It might have been the platform they used to adjust the. Length fordifferent testers

In the YouTube video in post #61 the pedals are in. AFrame setup what was this for as the throttle and stick are elsewhere

Deboletestis do you have a slew control piece that is easily installed and would assist in its use for someone with fat numb fingers? -
Andre do you have a pattern for the Speedmaster Flight seat? That you can use to make a custom jetseat from? If so what does a custom jetseat with all the bells and whistles run in usd? Ps. Do you have the capability to install inflatable bladders to help simulate pressure from movement? And or a lumbar bladder?

I’m able to do the basic missions in the me. But I. Have a desire to create a series of highly detailed beginners training missions for the huey continuing thru the intermediate and finially advance training missions. The first mission or two will be ground trining information the third mission should be a cold and startup and shutdown highly cockpit mission they should finially lift off around the fifth mission as they will be a practice and a evaluation mission for most flights. Each mission will take place in the nttr map with each flight taking off from nellis anf about an hour out to a random farp and rtb about an hour for each leg. They are six such farps around the nellis afb area each an hour approximately apart from the nearest one on each side and nellis afb. This is in case I decide to shorten the missions removing the rtb leg and. Make it a round robin flight at so point like a nav training graduation mission. Making it an 8 hr or so mission that hopefully could be segmented and saved so you start where you left off the last time. I’ve read that is somewhat possible in mp missions. So I need a knowledgeable mission designer who is up to the task of taking the information I provide and convert it to a mission for the huey. Are you the person who is able to take on this challenge?

I. Using a pro flight trainer puma atm and will not be tearing a 1k plus system apart it would be cheaper just to use the hat on the b4 grip or a pair of buttons on the collective. I’m not at the totally disable status yet just at the extreme difficult to use my Legs ad Spence what they are doing without concentrating on the controls display but as is the sim is difficult for those that have lost the use of one or both lower extremities. I would think someone would want to help those users out. In a fixed wing the pedals are needs but not as much as in a rotary wing with the exception of maybe the harrier. I know member of the military who have problems would love to loose themselves in this sim if they are able.
-
Imo you pick the two least desirable mods hawk because of its intial development was flawed and fc3 because by design it’s is restricted in its development. If you want a well documented mod for fixed wing I would go a-10c because of its age it is fully implemented and documented and supported. Another would be the f/a-18c which is still in development but it has been fully demonstrated by wags in his you tube videos just watch them and take note on everything you do also another printed source of great information is chuck’s tutorials followed the moved link in this forum to the new location. If you want in cockpit working training missions I’ve not sure which mod has the best training missions. Being that dcs is designed as a study level sim it is by design requires reading the supplied manuals and following checklists to operate the aircraft. And practice to become proficient at its use. Finding a multiplayer squad that does basic training is another option but must squads expect you to have basic knowledge of the aircraft and be willing to take that and built on it at varying speeds some expect you to get up ang going within a few weeks or less other do not care how long it takes as real life can limit you ability to practice. Some squads are structured advancement and training others are open to doing it by what the mission designer wishes to come up with. Some follow the rl training that the service that they mirror uses others use their own standards. For rotary wing the best documented is probably the ka-50 black shark the initial aircraft for this sim iirc. The hardest by design is probably the uh-1h huey my favorite, the French gazelle is the only helo that has multiplayer multicrew at this time there are a couple of fixed wings that offer iirc. I hope this helps
-
Ie tried twist grips but my puma doesn’t have one actually side ways is the cyclic the torque pedal would rotate the helo around the rotors shaft.
-
BIlly you probably know this by now but look in to the jetseat modded seat cover from andre
-
Get me the source code if you can and I’ll see if I can understand it and follow it
-
Yeah I could use the hat on my cyclic but I would prefer a software method
-
Also that’s where the. Afghanistan war is heading since isis has been drive out of Syria from a show I saw on the history channel But it’s. A mainly spec ops training ground war with drones so they would need to build a first person mod so you could be a soldier on the ground and run a 4-8 man team
