Ok I bought all the mods/terrains/ans campaigns except the hawk. I’m wanting to learn the trick used in making storebought missions so I can either tweak the mission for my on joy or hopefully repair them when they go arye must importantly learn from them. I thought I did a window search for miz files some time ago and all I found were either the ones I had attempted to build at that time and the ones I have downloaded from here non of the storbought missions showed up. My impression was a campaign was a set of linked mission files is that wrong? If so why didn’t they show up in my search. I I went a ran the search on the program files olderannd etc inlay showup.

Wouldn’t the voice recognition be a Windows voice recognition problem since VoiceAttack use it and doesn’t have a native voice recognition app

I’ve taken 12-14 of the four spot helipads and built an island in one of the covers of the pg map for a helicopter forward operating base. The terrain made me build an island since it is so hilly. I is covered that the helipad would stand 14’ above the water. My a is to pace two of the helicopters in the unit pull down for helicopters. What I need is two things if possible if not a way to remove the helicopter pads from the ground to leave a square of grass. If possible a desert version of the helicopter pads with and without the actual pads. That way I can use it for additional items like tents and storage. Right now I have to overlap so much to prevent ditches that there’s hardly any room in between the rows for anything non fight generating like generators launch and recovery crews and fire extinguishers. Maybe able to fit in the farp fuel and ammo depots haven’t tried but no room for a command post or any tents. Can you help?

Ok it would be nice to have it but if your against it I understand. My idea was get with the ovgme developers and getting it so you could assign a profile created in ovgme through your program if desired and a one button startup for dcs with all external apps starting when dcs starts.but I enjoy using you r app you done a great job you have your plan for its use and I as a user was giving you a list of ideas I had that would make it easier or better in my use.

I’m going to build a new desktop for dcs this Falland will be buying the parts Over the summer . My budget. Will bee between $1000-$1500 give ot take. What’s the best stuff that works with dcs? I thing 32gb ddr4 Ram should cover that area I’m not seeeiing the need for 64gb at this time. I’m thinking a gigabyte or asus MB with an Intel chipset. I have i7 in my laptop thinking of Something In the 4.5 -5 speed zone not overclocked, the new NVIDIA gtx-1180ti when it comes out . I’m thinking liquid cooler for both the CPU And GPU. Somewhere 7 fans for case air movement . A 500gb m.2 nvme drive for the os, a 2tb m.2 nvme drive for dcs Another for xp—11 and a 4tb. HDD for storing library tyype files and a 2ttb sata Ssd for the other apps. Welll did I miss something? What’s the best CPU’s and mb to get? Imthing. Master cool case and power supply.

If I replace the harddddrivee and clone the harddrive. Will I neeeed to deactivate and reactivate dcs or since it’s a backup of the complete hard drive and Nothing But the hard drive is changing so I’m good. The existing hdd is a m.2 sata 500gb. I’m installing a 2tb nvme m.2 drive. Will I be. Ok ? Can you backup the above and re store them to keep from having to redownload everything since I own every aircraft except the hawk, map And campaign plus a ton of Mods installed. If that’s The case I might install win10 fresh or do a manufacture restore and copy the folder over and run repair/clean/update from dcs utility app by SkateZilla

I updated the firmware my problem was your ssuppose to see Ann orange or green. Button. To sync then gloves I don’t get that button anywhere they sent me new software. And firmware within 224hrs but I haven’t gotten to. Try them yet.

Rouge what does that do. I’ve had to open oh since the pg/f18 prerease update time frame before I didn’t need it op but hmd is dark without it now?

I haven’t been able to use them yet had trouble with the configuration software and haven’t got that computer since they sent me new software. I’m looking forward to it. My understanding is currently the replace the mouse in one one ed is partnering with CaptoGloves so full implementation should be around the corner just like the thrustmaster warthog back in the day and with the pair it should be almost mouseless.

If you plan on going with the rift iirc reading that no other hdmi monitors ts may be used. I read it somewhere don’t know if it’s true and what happens if you do use more.

Is it possible to set the surface level for the fou pad helipads? I’m playing with joining multiple helipads together but one is higher the the others I need to lower it from 26 t to 14ft is there a way. It is on a piece of elevated land in be corner.

SkateZilla I have a couple more wish list requests: 1) ability to backup the dcs directory through your app 2) ability to relocate the dcs directory to another drive through your app so that it handles all the correct attachments. 3)ability to use different event ovgme profiles in you build options 4) ability to check for pure installation on request and show the mods that are not pure and the ability to disable them and reenable them on loading like the vr options or maybe to take a build and reconfigure it with check boxes for certain items

That ‘s a great idea divide missions by yours and others plus subdivide by map then maybe airframe and if you have several by a certain builder you could add them in the higher level.
