Hi everyone, Recenty I try flying the F15c, but in the ground I couldn't make a tight turn as other aircrafts despite pressing wheel brake. Did I miss something or it is designed to be like that ? Answers are appreciated. :joystick:

Nice tip, i reduce my saturation to 80, a little more trimming is not a big deal. I now control the Slick easier (they called Huey Gunship Slick in Vietnam war).

i used to land with 290kmh, but later I find 320kmh will help to keep my good relationship with ground mechanics. So 320 is my resolution. I usually come to stop at half of normal runway, so short runway is not a big deal. Low speed, low visibility, steep descent, high AOA are not good for the Bis.

I find high speed landing is the key. Approach speed should be about 360 (after compensation for wind), touching down speed should be about 320 with less than 1 m/s descent.

Throttle control is critical. You shouldn't cut down throttle to idle but lowering patiently, this will avoid slaming the MiG into runway surface in the final phase of flare. After 2 rear wheels touching the runway, keep decreasing throttle gently until the nose is down. This will keep nose wheel from bouncing. Dont worry about eating up the runway, you have chute to deploy. So try to land the bird in the big white square marks at the front end of the runway, otherwise abort landing.

Its really difficult to destroy object by bomb with F86f, its bombing sight is very inaccurate especially under windy condition. I bet it is a huge matter of luck to destroy thing on the ground with wind speed above 2m/s. Back in the 70' before laser bomb was invented, it took a hundred sorties to take down a bridge. Im refering to Ham Rong bridge in Vietnam war (and ThunderChief, Phantom, Skyhawk were far more advanced than the Sabre). So dont get mad if you cant destroy ground object by bomb.

Is it possible to increase time interval and quantity for dropping bomb ? I don't see any button to do these except Salvo mode (Ctrl + V) which is useless. I load my Su-27 with 6x4x100 FAB 100. I want to release all at one time but couldn't. Anyone has clue ? :cry:

As I know, MiG21 radar now cant detect target flying below 1500m in normal mode no matter what you do, but it can lock on target with fixed beam mode.

I unplug everything, then put them into my table locker. I dont want people, especially kids to mess around with my precious. Haha.

After firing all my onboard rockets, I switched to AI plane and empty the rack, then this happened.

Problem solved. I changed to a simple key combination. Maybe using Auxiliary Key (Ctrl, Alt, Shift) in conjunction causes problem.

Hi, After the previous patch before the lastest one, I noticed a little problem with keyboard mapping. In particular Rocket Release Selector Switch down is working not correctly anymore,. I tried binding to another key, change keyboard mapping on my Joystick, it worked the first time, then returning dead. Anyone has the same problem and having solution ? Thank you. Edit: I think there's a conflict in Joystick profiles provided after these patches.

With this new canopy, I feel like my pilot nearly blind. even with the help of zooming, i spend more than half of the time to find where are my targets. They are almost invisible until I get closer under 500 yards (Zsu for example)
