I did some tests yesterday. - MiG21 (1000ft) vs Mirage (3000ft): Couldn't get a lock. - MiG21 (6000ft) vs Mirage (1000ft): Couldn't get a lock until target flying above 3000ft) I tried declutter switch in 1st and 2nd position, pointed radar directly to target, flat terrain. Maybe a confirmation from Leatherneck will be appreciated. :thumbup:

I have tried many times, but I only pick up target signal above 1500m. Is it a feature of MiG-21 radar or something, can anyone confirm ?:( I have had this question since 2014, but I almost forget asking it again. :joystick:

Actually I'm following update frequently, but in my opinion you guys should put more update by video, that would be more convincing since the waiting time was way tooooo long. :(

As a former IL-2 1946 user. I categorize WWII fighter in 2 types: Turn n burn & Boom and Zoom. What you said above is BnZ tactics, FW190 / P-51 fall into this type. For TnB, it comes to Bf109 / Mitsubishi Zero / Lagg / Yak ... When you use P-51D and FW-190 against BF109, it's better not to get into TnB with him, he'll drag you down and kill you easily, and they were in knife-fight all the time with high alert. I think the BF109 in DCS is overpowered, he's very powerful in climbing, he can keep up with a P-51D in a BnZ which is not possible. Red : +1 we need more judgement from pilots, but unfortunately there're not many WW2 pilots still living nowaday. we should base on documents and engine to benchmark Module's performance.

+1 I find developing some trainers and small aircrafts is a waste of effort. IMHO it's just to satisfy a minor number of fans out there. (HAWK, CC101, L39 ...). It's just FSX module with live weapon, not complicated at all, and simple to manage. I'm looking for and ready to pay for some other icons like MiG-21, Mirage, F-14, Su-25A/T, F-16, F-18, F22, Su-30, Tiger Eurocopter, EF2000, Huey, Mi8, Mi24, Mi28. Even WW2 aircraft is not really in my wishlist (even I enjoy flying P-51D/BF109/FW190 because I was IL-2 1946 fan):pilotfly:. I already regret buying HAWK and CC101 (mostly I bought to support developers). HAWK and CC101 have been in my hangars for months and covered with dust.

Regarding the thread. I know that the mirage is very agile, and some says it is France's F-16, so do you have any RL mirage pilot involved during testing phase of the module ? Or flight model is tested base on given performance chart ?

Password is not a problem. I've tried everything. I was able to download through manual download using update_id found in another thread. Thank you. (I tried Mirage/M-2000C ... didn't know its fully name is RAZBAM_M-2000C)

Oh, you guys are lucky to have M2000C at this time. Im still struggling with "how to download M2000C using Module Manager" because MM working like sh*t, I can't login. How annoying.

I still have login issue (invalid serial number), but M2000C requires module manager to download. I tried fixing login error in according to this thread but no luck http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147799&page=4 So is there anyway to go around, any help ?

I deleted DCS 1.2 few weeks ago. It doesn't affect 1.5 or 2.0. You can remove it as you wish.

I find turning off Tak-off assistant makes it easier. But now the real deal is landing.

Have you tried to take off with fuel and bomb ? Not full throttle take off is easier, but requires more runway and time.

I also tried taking off the BF109 in DCS 2.0, and I failed 8/10. I was struggling to get the bird off the ground, very hard indeed. Its totally different from 1.5. I had to use rudder, wheelbrake to control but it seems not enough . Engine torque is too powerful and overpowered.
