Hi where is a post or information that says that a clean installer for 2.5 Alpha will be available tommorow ??, I dont want to look back through 58 pages of this thread. As I cant now install 1.5.8 beta as it seems it been removed then this would be the only and quickest way for me to move to the 2.5 Alpha as I dont want to wait another 2weeks while its tested. Hi I have opted into the DCS 2.0 Alpha on Steam, I had to use a activation key for all my modules as the Alpha loaded up the first time, however it did not ask me for a NTTR activation key, now its telling me I have to buy it, I already own it, does any one know how to get this working as there is no module manger in the steam version of DCS 2 for me to add it in from in the game.

Finally I got it sorted out. It wasnt untill I managed to try and start a mission that was in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\tech\CombinedArms\Missions\EN\Single which I had to search for under the dir structure in DCS World that a window popped up saying I had to register the product to play the mission, i was then able to enter my CD key. Its a bit of a stupid way to register a product by only popping up the box once you try to play a mission that CA uses and I can see this causing any new players who have never played any DCS products or DCS World a real issue. There were no missions for CA under instant action, create fast mission or training and these are the places any newbie will look first and should be the place the serial key is activated. Anyway its working, thanks to metalnwood which prompted me to look for a CA mission to load.

OK this is still not working for me I can not get a screen asking for my serial key for CA. I have been running DCS world 1.2.1 prior to 1.2.0 and it was working with my P51D & A10 purchase. I have uninstalled 1.2.1 and deleted the save games folder and then reboot my machine and installed DCS World 1.2.0 from the torrent file and when I start the game I have $$ icons by every module. Install CA 1.2.0.63205 The installer runs as it should, all the files are present in the Mods/tech/CombinedArms folder, and in the main menu screen the CA icon is present and does not have the dollar sign against it now. In the options menu i have control input mappings for Ground units available. The problem begins when i try to select a campaign or an instant-action: the CA tab is missing from both those menus (though the SU-25, A10 & P51 tabs are there). Further, the stock single-missions are missing from the menu (though all mission and campaign files are present). In addition, the program never asked for my registration, as it did the very first time I installed the P51 beta into 1.2.1 I have attempted the following to fix this: remove and re-install world 1.2.0 reinstalled CA module Backup and remove all Eagle Dynamics registry keys: this caused me to have to re-enter my A-10 license, P51 license. but never ever asked for a CA license. All of the solutions i attempted have had the same result: there is no change to the problem. I am never asked for a CD-key for CA Any help would be greatly appreciated or a refund would be fine untill this issue is fixed. Cheers Stephen:(

Thats not working for me im not getting any box asking for my serial key for CA when i restart DCS World. How would I know if I can play a CA mission so I know its working ??

Ok Stupid question, I have purchased CA and installed DCS World 1.2.0 and installed CA beta and I cant find out how to activate it with my serial key that was sent to me, when I installed CA the $ sign went from the icon. Cheers Stephen

How do I purchase this, when I go to the link it allows me to download it and install the files and it shows up in DCS World but doesn't have a $ figure by the icon. I also cant see where to purchase it on the DCS web site, DCS World is at version 1.1.2.1 Any help would be great.

I figured out where I went wrong and got it fixed :thumbup: Anway awsome skin in the game well done, im looking forward to more from the author.

I have unzipped this and ened up with a folder called F:\Flight Sims\DCS World\DCS World\Bazar\P-51\DCS_P51D_Big_Beautiful_Doll Inside that folder is a load of .dds files and txt file called description how ever the skin is not showing up in the game in the mission editor ?? what am i doing wrong. Not sure if this a bug or just needs adjusting. I created a small target practise mission for the P51 using some civilian trucks (light blue colour trucks), for the test I have lables on at 10000m and off at 5000m so know where they are while futher out but have to search the closer I get too them. The issue is when coming in at a dive angle to straff the tragets I notice that they are not in view and that they pop into view at about 200-300m and they also slightly shift/jump position as the LOD in the model changes. This was not a issue in the A10 as we were using Mavs and locking up targets with the camera but for the P51 where we are in close to the traget they really need to be in the game world from 10000m or more so we can at least see targets on the ground a bit more clearly. I need to go back to A10 and see if this issue was in that game as it just may be a DCS World bug.

Hi can you explain what you meand bu this, I have a HOTAS and would like to maybe use it this way.

Hi is there any chance a dev of the game can tell me what differences to the flight model are if the easy flight box is ticked. Also if this is ticked on the server machine does this force people in multi-player to have easy flight too.

I agree the KA50 is much more fun to fly of the tarmac with no AP modes engaged, while i understand that having the AP on is the normal operational procedure for the KA50 I prefer them off.
