  1. Thats the same as the information I read, it seems it was a very limited speed though. it looks a little silly in DCS though.

Some trains are using a push (travelling backwards) instead of a pull, its not common for steam engines to push there carriages backwards unless they were shutting in a yard, they never travelled on main lines in England using that method from my research last night. Also all the trains only use 1 track and run through each other, can this be fixed, there are 2 tracks on most lines, it really looks silly when you see it. Cheers

  4. Im with you on this it really messes with VR the current prop texture Im lucky we have IC turned off on the servers I play on so im not having an issue yet.
  5. Hi any chance the joystick hat trimming could be toned down a little, each move L, R U & D moves the trimming wheels quite a lot, even with a quick flick of the hat switch. To test this I mapped the axis from my mixture control to a axis for rudder trim and was able to trim the P47 with more precise movements which made trimming so much easier. Cheers

I have the new SC and I read some where it has 16 available spawn points, I created a MP mission last night with 8x F18 client slots, 2 of use were able to spawn, once one if us died or crashed and tried to spawn at the SC again we got a msg flight delayed please wait, this happened for bot of us and we never got a slot again on the SC again, got fed up trying and quite the mission. Anyone else seen this Cheers
  7. This issue has been resolved, it was a setting in the one the config files in my Saved games DCS folder

Possible bug, Ocululs Rift S SC crew only on the left eye Anyone else seen this in VR the SC crew only render on the left eye of the VR headset (Oculus Rift S), if you close the left eye they all disappear when looking through the right side lens, I thought they looked a little funny when I was in VR. I looked for an option to change it to both eyes like the F16 has for the HMD view but I dont see one.
  9. Hi guys I have SimShaker for IL2 along with the Sound module that was need for it to work with a Butt Kicker 2 and it works great. Im now interested in getting my Butt Kicker 2 working in DCS and was going to purchase the Aviator software, from what I can see it uses the same Sound module software that SimShaker uses, can I use my existing Sound Module of do I have to re purchase a second cop. Hi guys just a quick question re the F16 in DCS and running SRS in the background for our server, we have a GUARD channel set to UHF 243.00 If we have Com1 UHF set to say 235.00 for talking to our flight and we have it set from MAIN to BOTH on the DDI we are not getting any transmissions coming in from guard 243.00 when some one transmits on our server, From what I have read this is the setting to have transmissions from Guard and allow us to transmit on 235.00. Is this a bug with the DCS F16 radio, we have done a bit of testing today and can not get it to work at all. Cheers

I have tested out a heap of modules in VR with the free month still on and was happy with some of them until you try a mission with AI in them, I then get very bad VR performance, the FW190A airfield attack in Normandy was the worst at around 12 fps. At this stage I wont be buying any of the modules I don't have, the Super Carrier is my last purchase (already pre purchased) as the VR performance in DCS has slowly died a death over the last 6 months to a year with me having to drop my settings to a very low set just to get 40fps with ASW on, moving to a monitor setup is really not an option as VR is the only way to play this game I will stick with what I have now, suffer through 40-20 fps with those planes and start purchasing again, once VR performance comes back up. My specs are Rift-S, i7 6700k, OC to 4635Mhz, 1080p 32GB, i know its not the best but DCS has played well in VR on this rig up until 1 year ago, where nearly every update this last 12 months has killed VR for me.

I love the i16, fly it heaps in IL2 Great Battles, but after testing it yesterday for free the only thing stopping me getting this is that I need a hold a button down for a very long time to raise that landing gear, I understand its realistic but holding a button for a while gets tedious very quickly for both raising and lowering the gear and I wouldn't bother flying it for that reason alone so it would be wasted money> I think they missed a great opportunity by allowing a option for gear assist much like the rudder assist option in the games menus, it such a lovely plane and model in DCS, the developers did a great job on it for sure.
  15. I know this is a torpedo version of the JU88, but any one think it strange they didn't allow it to have bombs also as a payload, first AI Axis bomber and we cant make AF attack missions.

    This update has tanked my FPS in VR, my testing mission for VR is Instant action F16 on the Caucus map, yesterday I was getting 40 FPS with my Oculus rift ASW 1.3 PD, custom settings in DCS, this update its down to 20 FPS with the same settings. Even using the in game VR settings as default its still at 20 FPS on the runway, it does not get to 40 FPS untill in the air and away from the airfield and then it bounces between 20 and 40 with not much in between, also looking at the sun kills the FPS to 20, it never goes below 20 though. Another bad VR update, this last year nearly every DCS update has killed my VR FPS and I have to spend hours clawing every bit of frame rate back. im so glad the SC isnt out Id hate to think how much that will kill my game. Back to tweaking again or maybe its time to go stable.

Hi all I have searched the forums but cant find the answer, I'm placing BF109 and FW 190's on a airfield on the Normandy map as static objects to be attacked in my mission I'm working on, when testing it out, I come in guns blazing to attack them but they don't take seem to take any damage on the hits or go on fire, is there a setting I'm missing. Cheers
  19. I did a repair that has fixed it, I think it was the VR shader mod I was using had caused it (trying to get extra FPS out of the sim). Cheers
  20. Hi guys does anyone else have missing gun tracers in VR for the F16, I have searched the forum and come up with nothing. If I use the F16 out of VR the gun tracers are working. Cheers
  21. Hi hoping someone can help me out here as I want to get my ButtKicker working in DCS, its working really as good in IL2 after buying some software from Andre's Shop. Currently I have the following purchased and installed Simshaker Wings SimShaker Wings Option for Bass Shakers What else do I need, I saw a program called SimShaker for Aviators which I have downloaded and installed but it does not allow me to tick the Sound option for( Buttkicker and Similar device) on the service tab, and wont allow me to pick a sound card. Any help would be great Cheers

If anyone from DCS monitors this thread I would like to make a suggestion for VR uses for using the comm menu/ground menu with the mouse Currently we have 2 types of cursors that can be seen in VR, the white dot and the blue cross, both are moved with the mouse if its enabled in VR is there any chance we can have a keybinding to toggle it to either one please Currently as it stands from what I can see and tell, if you are using the blue cross to toggle switches to then get it to go to the white dot so you can use the comms menu you need to wait and keep the mouse still and then it may change to the white dot, if this cursor was able to be toggled with a keybinding it would be so much easier to use in VR. If I'm wrong in my assumption of the way this works please correct. Cheers
