Thats what happens in the other sim, you have it on or off with a tick box, your choice and also the server host choice, it should be implemented into DCS -

Hi f4I0 Trying the 2.2.4.0 beta that includes the Hind, when i fly it I get no affects and this error pops up, I can then pick another plane or helo and the affects come back on fine, only happening on the hind. -

Its working again, I unplugged my Buttkicker 2 so just the Jetseat is active and it started working again, no idea if this was the issue but its working so I'm happy again. When this error occurred though was just on boot up of DCS with Simshaker softwear all ready started, I can also tell you I had the same issue on stable which I reverted back too. -
Sorry Nineline, that's all it gave me when I hit save, but there was only really about 1 min left of flight that consisted of me slowly getting it to the ground controlling it the sames as you can see from the track untill I skided to a halt in the field and then she went on fire. It wasn't had to control either.

My Simshaker for Aviators has stopped working in DCS (beta version 2.2.4.0) I have tried a reinstall and still its not working, I have also tried the none beta and its the same it doesnt work in DCS I have a green light on the Seat Handler and when i test the vibe motors they work fine. Anyone able to help me trouble shoot this as I have no idea where to start, it used to work every time. I see no difference in the map, looks the same to me texture wise, what did they update, comparison pics would be nice so we can see the changes.

Bringing to attention some of the problems with WW2

My list would be Trains don't work in MP on any WW2 map, and I haven't seen trains on the Normandy map in single player yet either. Historically accurate fused bombs for planes that had them. Bad AI, example on a single mission bombing some factory escort the A20s I shot down 2 of the FW190 and then was shot down, I watched the last FW190 fly towards the A20s and my wingman fly back towards the A20s with at least 100m separation from the FW190 and neither engaged each other, I have seen this happen in many other SP missions. BF109 cockpit reflections in VR are very bad Spitfire default VR head position is bad (too high) Bad frame rates when carpet bombing (brings a i9 10850K and 3090 to single digits in VR) There is obviously more looking through Discord but as I have given up on DCS WW2 for the time being due to it not being any fun to fly I cant comment on them. -
That will run it all fine in 2D mode the Marianas map though with still be around 40 with max detail, see my post above.

As I mostly fly VR I thought I would try the map in 2D mode with everything on max except shadows which were set to flat, my settings are in the picture. I did this as its been touted this new EDGE engine needs high end hardware which I consider myself to have. System rig 3090 no overclock 64 gig DDR4 i9 10850K with small over clock to 4800mhz Flight was F16 free flight and also a custom flight with an F18 at sunrise. FPS counters blown up as they were very small F16 Day F18 Sunrise It looked fantastic but I still consider the FPS to be very low for such high end hardware with how the map looks, it reminds me very much of a map from ARMA 3 like Tanoa

Try flying this map with AI units on it for a mission, its becomes really unplayable, my VR 45fps (reprojection on) went down to 20fps, even after following the GR video and turning shadows off, I run quite high settings as I have top of the line gear 10850K 3090, I know I can drop settings but then it just looks like a map from a game back in 2010 and I don't believe we should be having to do this. up to this point I have had 2.7 running OK Syria was fine, this nap to me is a map that wont get used by a lot of players because of its issues and that in it self is a shame. I cant see any point in building new stuff for DCS if its not going to come out as playable on the middle of the road gear (which most people have) even in open beta, all you doing is annoying the player base who support you. Still glad it was free and we didn't have to pay for it, i have now made a note to myself that I will only try any maps that come out from this point on in a free trail so I can see if they are playable or not first before purchase.

Nineline just tested you recommended settings on my rig. Specs 3090 i9 10850K 64gig of ram Whist it certainly keeps a very reasonable FPS, it just looks really bad in the air looking at the map, I cant honestly believe ED would want any one flying with these settings on this map, it just doesn't deliver the visuals this map is built for, ill tweak it up from here for Pancake mode but as others are reporting i'm not hoping for much once I get some details. Here are your settings and also what they look like in game when I flew it 10 mins ago so others can see what it looks like, flight was free flight F18. -

Hi is there any way to keep the mirrors on when I jump in the Hind, every time I have to hit the M key, its not like this in any other DCS module, I cant find any settings to enable mirrors to on all the time ?? Cheers

There a lot of buttons that need an On/Off binding or up/down the auto pilot buttons are just one example that need this, in its current state you would need 8 separate bindings to switch the 4 autopilots on and off.

Just managed to get this mod working now as I had a brake issue whicjh is fixed, one more question in VR the canopy reflections are way over done, is there a way to remove these at all ?? Cheers and great mod BTW Hotdognz
