Search YouTube for DLSS 2.0 there are dozens of videos doing deep dives on it. TLDR: it works now, requires much less effort from game devs, the image quality is very good.

With nVidia getting DLSS right with version 2.0 and DCS suffering from very poor VR performance (not a dig... just a reality) it seems this could be a great solution. Fantastic for ED, fantastic for us users, and a clear advantage over other unnamable products.

True, except they also listen when many of their clients start threads thanking them for the hard work their clients have no idea if they are doing or not. If your clients are fans you have an easy time selling whatever you have laying around. This is all stupid.

If it were anything but a delay you would have said "Module coming tomorrow and we can't wait to tell you all about it!" But no.... hold out the drama while your customers argue about how bad or good you are... after you delayed the module because you "don't release new modules into EA during a sale".... That is definitely a possibility. What is also a possibility is that YouTube has a function to schedule the release of a video at a time of your choosing. I mean it's possible right? ;) Also, them being at home on holiday after exactly zero new information or hype being released is an indication that they are at home on holiday instead of working on the product so there's no need for new information or hype because they are at home not working on the product... so we don't get any new information or hype... because....:) Other than the weasel statements "that's still the plan" we have nothing. Normally, this close to a release into EA we would have a lot of info. But perhaps that will come Monday or Tuesday. If my comments bother you please direct yourself to the crowd who will comment with "I don't care if it is delayed so they can make it work properly." They are probably less offensive.

If we don't see videos showing off the functions that are going to be in EA at release by tonight then the likelihood of it being released in 3 days is very low. Wags normally has videos up on this day if the product is actually going to be released this week.

Thanks for your concern but it is unwarranted.

In all seriousness. The Supercarrier and the APIs for the game are not finished - look at ED's to do list. That is why the module is not being delivered this week. The not releasing it during a sale is nonsensical and simply just something to say about why it is late. HB cannot DEFINITIVELY say when the 14 will be compatible with the Supercarrier because the APIs and the module are not yet in a state where they can start to make it compatible. You can decide this means the 14 won't work with it or it won't work with it through EA or whatever you want but it is nothing more than this in reality.

Has anyone else noticed the Sun can't be seen in any of their night time supercarrier lighting screeenshots and video clips? Have they broken the Sun? There must be some reason why the Sun is not visible in ANY of their night time lighting promo material. What is ED hiding???? LOL this is what this thread looks like. :)

There has been no official statement that the Caucus map will work with the Supercarrier. All the screenshots are more than 12 hours old. Also there has been no official statement about if the A-10C is going to be able to fly in the same mission when a Supercarrier is used. How long will ED keep us in the DARK!!!!!!??????!!!! I realize you have too much time on your hands but come on... lol Oh and NO ED is not doing the "integration" ED provides the Supercarrier module, and the core game APIs and HB makes their module work with them.

Wags doesn't work for HB. ED doesn't "deliver" functionality of any HB product. ED delivers the core game and documentation to 3rd party devs like HB and they deliver functionality of their own products. So buy the module or don't. Looking for rain in a cloudless sky might make you feel all the feels and dramas but it is just silly IMO.

LOL come on.... Do you really think Iron Mike was saying he was 99% sure it would be compatible on day one two years from now? LOL I used to think ED was overly harsh with people but man this forum just loves to come up with problems that just don't exist.
