I just have to vent...... I have had the Hornet since day one from release and I find it to be the most difficult aircraft to try and master air to air refueling. I have zero problems with the F-14 or the F-16 connecting with the tanker but the hornet is completely unstable for me. The slightest increase or decrease in power caucuses my aircraft to pitch up or down at a minimum + or - 50 feet. and it constantly wants to pull to the right . I have no idea how many hours I have spent trying to connect to a tanker and have yet to be able to once. I have tried all the tricks and used the same techniques that I used to master the Tomcat refueling but to no avail....

Cool. Glad someone has advanced this for the Tomcat for Streamdeck. I tried but was unable to get very far. Just did not have the time to mess with it and got frustrated....

I can confirm that as well. The AOA indicator, The wing sweep indicator especially.

I seem to be having lots of issues with Viacom not recognizing commands or only recognizing them sporadically. I had no issues before the add-on of the realistic ATC. I have tried retraining the voice commands and it fails to recognize many of them more often than not. And when it does it only has like 50% or less confidence in it. Not sure what is going on with it. Plan to play around with it some more this afternoon but it is frustrating to say the least.

Looks really good. Excellent work!!!! Unfortunately, the two modules I play are not supported by the DCS- Exportscripts yet (F-14 and F-16). I am going to download and learn it but looks like I will be waiting awhile before I will actually be able to use it.

That is a bummer . And I had the day off from work too...It is what it is but since they are not giving any idea of a new time frame I assume it is going to be many months to maybe a year before this thing sees the light of day. I just don't get why wait to the release date to inform everyone when it was known at least 4 or 5 days ago that it was not going to make it . If I had to guess they had an idea it was not going to make the release date weeks ago. I can get why a lot of people get upset when you give people something they get excited for then squash it like a bug it tends not to sit well with some. If things with it are as bad as they suggest reading between the lines with the limited information given then I can understand why its a no go even though I do not play multiplayer at all I am sure there are issues with Single Player as well. As they say. Life Goes On.....

Its the F-14...It is in the Instant action Nevada Gen 3 fight and the Fox 2 fight. . I have not tried any of the other missions as of yet but I figure it will do it in all of them.

When ever I finish a mission I get a message saying "Cannot Open debriefing file".

Im having the same issue. Hangs at 10%.

Pre-ordered it... it's disappointing they did not include the actual Nimitz as a carrier you could select IMHO....But no big deal I suppose.

I want to know if there is going to be the ability to man the maintenance crew in the hanger deck and work on the aircraft, order spare parts that are not in the on board stock and have them delivered by a Greyhound, do engine swaps , have a full lathe shop so we can make parts..These are things we need to know....

I am using a TM base. The stick is connected directly to the base. I usually use an extension on my Warthog and F/A-18 sticks but the extension cable would not work with the Virpil stick for some reason....I had not had any issues until last night with it. Will try it some more today after I get home to see if tightening it a bit more helped or not.

Ok. So I have been using the stick for a few days with no issues then all of a sudden this evening I have been experiencing issues where random buttons and selections will happen with out me touching any of the buttons on the stick. Example. I will be flying along and the gun or missiles will start firing without the trigger being squeezed. Weapons will randomly select or other things I have programed to the stick just start happening with out touching anything. Anyone else have any weird issues with the stick yet? UPDATE: So after doing some experimenting I have found that the issue is the stick is loosening from the base with movement over time causing the connection to become bad between the base and the stick. Will have to try tightening the stick to the base better and see if it still happens over time.

There were a couple of downloads out there for this but they were not complete and I could not get them to work when I tried to use them. I spent days messing with them but to no avail. I would like one for the F-14 badly . But If I could find one that works I would take it because I could modify it for what ever aircraft I want to use it for.

As of now my shipment is "Out For Delivery". Hope to receive it shortly.... Fed Ex usually delivers to my area in the morning.... UPDATE: I received my F-14 Stick and rudder peddles and have played with them for a little bit today. The Rudder peddles are great. They are a big improvement over the Thrustmaster ones I have been using. Controlling the F-14 rudders is a lot easier now for me. As for the stick. It feels real good. The weapons selector switch is very nice and works great. The Hat switch is very good as well. As for the trigger . I wish it had a little bit more travel to it and tension. It takes very little pressure to pull it to the first and second detent and you cannot feel the second detent at all. The other buttons are ok but not as good IMHO as the ones on the Thrustmaster F/A-18 stick. The really big issue I had is that the stick will not work with the cable for my extension I use on my TM base. I have no idea why it wont. It works fine with my Warthog and F/A-18 sticks. So I had to connect the stick directly to the base to use it. No big deal but I am use accustomed to using the extension . I suppose I will have to order one of Virpil's extension that comes with the cable. I wish they just sold the cable separately. All in All I am satisfied with my purchase . Especially the rudder pedals....

Yea, Thats what I thought as well.... However , I did look it up and there was a huge fire at a recycling facility in the area they are at so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. My stuff is on its way and should be here Thursday. As long as it is here by the end of the week I will be happy....

I contacted them this morning and my shipment was picked up by the courier today and it is now on the way and I checked and the Tracking was updated and its in transit. They said there was a big fire at the industrial park they are at and it delayed shipping of orders.

Well. My shipment has been listed as "Collecting" on the TNT tracking page since last week. The delivery was supposed to be tomorrow but going by what the tracking number is telling me they have not even picked it up.

Just got notice that my pre-order has shipped....Expected delivery on Wednesday Oct. 23......

I have noticed the same issue on takeoffs and to a lesser extent on landings. I am having to use large rudder inputs to keep the plane centered on the runway. For me its seems to mainly want to veer to the left a lot of the time.

I have found it hard to be precise with the controls for AAR....It wants to pitch and roll ever so slightly and even with small inputs it wont stay steady. I have been able to control the pitch but the roll I have had no luck. Been playing with the curves but as of yet have not found a setting that works for me controlling the roll tendency. I have no problems with the Hornet or Tomcat doing AAR but this plane is being difficult. Just going to keep at it i suppose until I figure it out...

I am having an issue with getting TX-1 VHF to work in the F-16C. TX-2 UHF works fine but when I go into the Viacom control panel and look the TX-1 is not activated .The TX-2 is. When I press the button for TX-1 nothing happens. I have checked the setup for TX-1 in VC and it is correct...I am at a loss...

I too am eagerly waiting for something like this as well. I have tried to create something similar but have had no luck on figuring out how they have been able to accomplish some of the things I see done with these. I have read through everything I can find on them and just have not been able to make it work outside of just basic stuff.
