Well optimise you know like in nVida control panel set in Program settings for the DCS GPU at max usage and is your CPU Overclocked and the XMP PRofile selected.. Can you get a video of your stuterring.. I notice when I have Terrain textures and terrain on anything other then med and low I get Game stutter real bad.. if you post a video naybe we can see what is happening in real time and please turn on the DCS FPS Counter with the Graph..

well IDK then I would try and turn down some settings and optimise your PC.

Well either way I had a look at your post you have some settings on pretty high but you say it is fine now which is good glad it was not any spyware or whatnot..

IS the Stutter in a MP server or do you fly singleplayer only? Also can you post a trk file with the F16 for a few minute flight and see if I get the stutter? might point to your PC issue or maybe the server?? And I am sorry to be the bearer of Bad news but that 4060ti was made for 1080P resolutions. if you are playing higher then that you will have issues..

Hello, I was wondering for your triple screens do you use the 3 monitor lua or nVidia surround?? also that card is not too good it was mainly made for a single 1080P monitor.. here is a review from gamers nexus: what are your DCS Options set at? screenshot if you can please.. also try and disable hotplug devices found on the controls page lower right.. maybe put your Page file a little higher if you have the drive space to do so..

well I am no expert but I always like looking around in the logs to see what I can see. in this instance I found something funny: "APP (Main): CPU cores: 4, threads: 8, System RAM: 65460 MB, Pagefile: 9078 MB" but your log says you have a 8 core CPU. also your Page file should be higher that is if you have the room on your SSD and free space. I see you have a 3090ti and a G2, didn't the 3090Ti have issues with the G2?? If you have a 8core and somehow DCS is only seeing 4 that could be an issue when and if the scene gets heavy it could be choking your PC and causes your black screen.. Any reason you use v2.8.8 for DCS??

Well at least you figured out what was wrong. would like to hear your thoughts on this headset compared to the G2..

well I understand many people are having this issue but I was just trying to determine do you see the spikes as a stutter during gaming or just in the Graph?? I just ran 2.8 and it is only ST but it seemed to have spikes as well.. but did not seem as deep in the graph.. I am resetting back too 2.9 and I will try the ST.exe and see if it does better or worse then MT.exe..

well in your screenshot is says 78FPS?? I loaded up the F16 mission on the tarmac and noticed the graph looks similiar but everything seemed smooth.. are you getting actual stutters in the game or only in the graph?? You running a monitor or VR did you try it without VSync? I am wondering which mission you are using there? I will try and run 2.8 and see what happens..

Molnija1985 what programs do you have running in the backround while running DCS. I think something amiss with your PC either programs running or spyware or something..

The OP stated unless I read it wrong that when using the standalone feature it is perfectly fine the OP Only has an issue when he plugs into the PC with the DP Cable.. I think maybe something amiss with the cable and maybe the OP could try a different cable??

well what are your settings at. but if you look at the graph it states GPU Bound. that is a lower end card. Not sure but Please post your DCS Settings..

well unless I read it wrong the OP has a quest 3.. I run DCS at 30% rez and it looks fine with MSAAx2 enabled.. of course it looks better at higher rez but what I am suggesting works.. At max with my gear in Sig, I can only get 68-80FPS with a 30% rez so if I turn up the rez much higher my FPS drop and I get stutter.. Well I must not notice the flickering anymore but I would rather have smooth gameplay then run at a higher rez and have stutters.. it is really not too bad at the lower heck I would be happy to be at 50-60% rez as that seems like the sweetspot but with my 2080ti this is not gonna happen..

is the DP cable like a regular DP cable or is it a proprietary type cable?? PErhaps if it is just a regular DP cable try an different cable?? Wierd it works fine in standalone which probally means it is not misaligned hardware wise maybe it is just the cable??

what is wrong with the 3080?? Sure would like to get one of those as I only have a 2080ti coming from a 1080ti. if you have performance issuesin VR with DCS try reducing the rez at which the headset is at and also reduce the Hz rate..

have you tried to Google the issue or over at the Pimax forums to see if there are similar issues.. I am pretty sure you can not be the only one that has had this happen.. I sure hope you get it fixed.. other then that how does the Crystal compare to the G2?? Curious to hear your thoughts..

Hey Everybody, I, just was told about Libre Hardware Monitor Program which is open source and found on Github. Now I was having a issue with it reading my Cuda cores under load it shows 0% and I am trying to determine if it is an issue with my Pc or an issue with the Program. I also did a DDU wipe of my nVidia drivers and clean installed v546.33 drivers which helped a bit in DCS but my main concern is to find out why it read zero % in the d3d cuda cores. I will post a few pics of the test I ran under load in DCS. In the 1st image you can see D3D Cuda at Zero%, and it is under load. so is this something wrong with my PC or the Program?? well that is a quick gothrough of the jist of it but hopefully I can find out what is or what's not going on here.. well Stutter is moslty caused by a too small a pagefile. best thing to do is if you have 32GB Ram and alot of free space on a SSD or M.2 drive set the pagefile to like 65536. I have my PC set too that and I just checked my MSI AB and it stated I maxed the pagefile out @ 55GB. so if I only had a 32gb page file I would of had massive stutters.. Also you can get a slight stutter in VR if you are nopt matching your FPS to your VR Headset HZ rate especially when looking out the sides..

1. Bin.MT is the multicore EXE and the other is the single core EXE.. 2. well I know for sure the last line is not needed for the shortcut, I use the 1st one to enable VR but he says neither is needed.. so I guess they are not required any longer. 3. you do not need to check any of those..

beforewe go any further what exactly is your issue here? you do not need that file an longer. the bin Mt is in the dcs folder like the bin folder is. if you are using VR I would try the Multi thread or single thread it really does not matter just whatever one works better for you..

Yes, Stable and Beta are both the same currently. I am using Open beta but it is the same version you have.. it sounds like you have auto senosr on try setting it to manual in the Windows settings, mixed reality page.. so are you getting the blue triangles or the black ones?

well I have a G2 and I only use this in the target line: " --force_enable_VR " that is it and I do not even have enable VR in the DCS options checked.. You do not need the line for Open xr or any files either.. you will know if it is using OpenXR as the screen that first comes up is the blue screen then dissapearing into trianlges. if it is a black screen that is Steam VR still..

Hey ED, any word on this issue? I was hoping someone to look at these logs and such.. I am also currently noticing major FPS drops also from back seat Apache to Front seat Apache almost 50FPS in 2d Mode? I use VR but the FPS drop overall in game for me is about 10-15FPS in VR from 2.8..
