well that was 2.8 this is 2.9 different beast. It does not matter what it did before what matters is what it is doing now.. you do have mods then it is probally outdated or does not work well with 2.9..

I thought the Quaddro cards were not good at rendering games?? I think you should get a different PC..

Hmm, maybe I am wrong but are you using alot of mods?? If so it could be those try the game with all the mods disabled. and your specs are pretty low..

Yes I am not saying or trying to playdown the issue I just find it wierd some users do not experience these slowdowns. just trying to find something that is the issue. I have seen some users after a while say it was some piece of software or a mod they use. I would think if it was a problem within the software of DCS everybody would experience it. I could be wrong but just trying to help you all figure these things out and get them fixed.. I know it must be frustrating.. what is weird the OP said he even did a clean install of windows and still had the issue that to me is so weird.. maybe a hardware issue that DCS does not like for whatever reason..

Well I beleive textures loading in is most through the Vram. so have you tested your vRam in a stress test? I use a 1080ti and while with 2.9 it seems totake a little longer to load in it still completes the load after about 20-30seconds.. try posting your DCS.Log and DXDiag files?? not sure what is going on but maybe hardware to software issue? I know you said other games but they are the rule this DCS is the exception.. I have no such issues and use VR with a 1080ti..Also are you using any mods or scripts??

Hey HomeFries, I DL'd the files from Google drive and when I extracted them to the CTS Folder they did not seem to be properly nested unless I did something wrong unzipping them?? but they did not put the fileswhere they belonged. it was just all unzipped folders in the CTS folder..

I use msaa x2 and dont experience any CTD's?? I wonder why? msaa x4 is taxing tho for me on a 1080ti in VR..

well 1st thing I did not realise the map was year locked.. none of the other casinos are military related but yet they added them rethink your logic but it dont matter as it is year locked and not planned..!!

maybe the WMR bug there was a fix for it to align the screens..

@voidwr, if your disk is at 100% I would have a look into that it could be the main issue..

it showed in the log file your shortcut: "G:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR Are you using OpenXR? it should also state this: --force_OpenXR Also what mods do you use? have you tried cleaning your FXO, Metashaders folder?

Do you have your DCS.log file?? might be heat related or unstable system..

Yes hopefully it was when DCS was Running. but if not that could be the issue no Ram..

OK so you were running DCS at the time you checked available memory? It is a concern if you were idle at desktop and only had 3 gb avaialble memory but if it was ruuning DCS I guess that is ok.

well when on manual the switch should not do anything so maybe something else going on here.. I know since a few patches ago the cursor has been difficult for me to keep a track of but this issue is something different for sure.. Do you use any mods or anything wierd?

Well to the OP the thing I seen which seems to be a concern is the following part you posted about your PC: "Available physical memory is at 3.04GB" Where did you see that at? it should not take 10+ minutes to load into a server something is wrong..

what is your input switching set at in Start/Settings/Mixed reality/Startup and Desktop?

Umm, this was pointed to those that did not. if you did then great I was not referring to those who did post a trk file. but it was not here.

Well I am not expert but would a trk or log file be helpful Newy? I mean I know it might help but nobody seems to be posting those just chiming in say yep it happened to me.. I posted in a simialr thread of this issue and posted my log files but I did NOT experience the stutters or whatnot going from F10 to F1 and back several times.. I am not sure but maybe something with your setups or mods or something..

Well I dont wan to sound like I am harping but all of you that claimed this issue and not one of you posted a trk or log file. how can ED Find it if they have no proof of it or sommthing they can see to try and determine what is going on.. I seen a similar post and I posted my dcs.log file but I did not see it happen when going from F10 to F1 and I pressed it several times. so I don't think it is DCS I mean it is to an extent but if it happens then it should happen to everybody.. maybe if you guys post some logs and trk files ED could get to the bottom of it. buit since they have nothing to go on do you really expect ED to fix this out of the blue just because you said it happened without the log or trk files it is hot air..

I think they still sell aftermarket ones if your is broke or something..

If you want I can test the f14 in Sinai or syria and see if I have it happen? if you guys want me to check but I don't have the F15E. EDIT: Well I just was flying the F14 in the Sinai and Syria switching from F10 and F2 and such. I did not have the G2 turn off at anytime.. here is my log incase it might help.. dcs.log
