hey try clearing environment data in windows under mixed reality.. I had a similar issue where the game showed on the monitor but not in the headset. I reset the data and voila it worked as it did before really wierd?..

Yes and as BigNewy mentioned you also have a error inthe terrain lua. just try what he said to do a clean and slow repair of DCS. see if it works then.. @BigNewy the headset Woxof has is a Reverb G2 which supports Steam vr and open XR I have the g2 and it works wonderfully with openxr..

well in your logs you were getting alot of dx errors. I looked at your specs they seem pretty low.. What are your DCS Settings?

Well from what I see yes this is what is preventing the filter drivers from being installed in Win 11. Yes to get there in Win 11 goto Start , Settings then in the search type core isolation. it should show up then disable memory isolation.. that is what I did and I had to uninstall all programs for my HOTAS and MFD's and reinstall, as the drivers for the HOTAS Cougar did not get installed as I disabled memory integrity after I installed the cougar. Once I did that and restarted win11 a couple times the TARGET Profile loaded up no issues.. you did run the MFD Installer program from thrustmaster?

well first thing is did you enable VR in the DCS VR Options menu at the top?

Well in Windows 11 to get the filter drivers installed you need to disable core isolation menory integrity. There is also a new version of Target but the MFD Drivers could use an update so we do not have to disable memory integrity but that is what needs to be done here to get it working. And if you disable it and install the filter drivers you are not able to turn the memory integrity back on as long as those old drivers are there.. so maybe we should ask Thrustmaster to update those MFD Drivers for Windows 11..

Hey all, I was wondering if anybody got this target profile working with win 11 Pro? I am having a few issues one is the MFD Filters are not getting installed and the profile times out.. With the Profile I omitted the MFD's and then the virtual joystick does not get enabled and it times out so no luck so far with win 11.. I tried running the program as admin and it did not seem to have an effect eDIT: It appears the stick is not even workingnow in win11. I did have it working not sure what had happeded??

did you use a shader mod before or now?

well you say this issue should not be hard to replicate well let me be the first and tell you I do not have this issue so how can I replicate it? That is fine if you ask for help then dont want to give what is needed to further investigate the issue I am unsure how you propose to get help?? To be honest I have no issues that I can report. I even got the game to a point where I can achieve 90FPS in all but one MP server thus far. It was a real busy MP server but I still got 85fps in it. so I don't see why you can not get similar results with better gear.. Yes, while it may not be a hardware issue have you tested your system and showed it is not at fault besides just saying it is not hardware related, it could be a software,hardware issue. it could be a mod you use or software but if you dont want to offer up what is needed to better help try and figure out what is wrong. I guess put in a ticket.. not sure how we can help you with just a trk file?? I am just echoing what the mods will ask for here even if you sent in a ticket they would want the logs and such.. well while not exactly sure what you mean with wobble but resetting the environment couldnt hurt and it only take a mouse click.. perhaps the sensor for the tracking is defective?? And beside when troubleshooting technical issues it is just a process of elimination most times. I am no way and expert at everything but there are certain things one can always try perhpas any suggestion is better then none.. if it does not fix the issue then that might have not been what was wrong but without seeing the issue firsthand it is hard to decipher what you mean by a wobble.. But if clearing the environmtne does not clear it do you get the wobble all the time like in cliffhouse or just in DCS or other games??

well been a while since I had the GPU. I did try and bump up the Graphics ingame and the res is still @60% maybe even 50% but I was getting CPU bound in the DCS FPS Counter now. I thought a 10700K Intel CPU @ 4.8ghz would be good for a 3070, is this CPU not good enough now? OH and what is this theoretical FPS, is that what it would get with better gear or similar? EDIT: I am currently running at 30% and I mainly am able to keep 90FPS. but last night I tried OC my CPU to 5.1ghz and it was not stable and the time it did stay stable the temps where hitting 105 and 107c for a split second or two in thwe intel burn test maximum test.. I just went back to 4.8ghz and it seems fine temp wise. Towards the end on our Private MP server the FPS were dropping to70-75FPS and it stuttered a bit not sure but my temps were good and not sure but somone else in the group reported stuttering and low FPS it might be the host and some bandwidth issues.. Currently I am not in the market for new gear as I am broke for the foreseable future!! well I tried your trk file and it barely worked. I seen a small instance of being in the f14 then the trk file hung.. yes I do have the F14 and SC so that was not it, can you post your dxdiag and dcs log files? Also can you post a pic of your DCS settings.. thnx

So why do you think it is a bug? I seen a little increase in your FPS while not massive but still a gain. Not sure but you do realize your settings are extremely high. I know what your system is but VR is not the same as pancake 2D.. I would suggest if you want better performance in VR try turning down some settings even the resloution down would help. some errers listed in the mt log and it also looks like you are recording with tacview? I have a 3070 and am able to get 60-70% res with most other settings medium or below. I will run your trk file and see what I get.. EDIT: I ran your trk file in vr and was getting a low of 60 to 72. when I did it in 2d I was getting 110-120. I tell you what I will run with your settings in the trk file you are dogfighting those mig29's and I will probally tank in FPS.. haha!! Well not as bad as I thought was gettin 50-60fps and I tried syria golan heights it was still pretty good but I was @ 2400x2400 res or 60%% for my rig.. idk try a mp mission I am gonna try it seems the fps are holding pretty good but not at your rez.. Try a busy lots of players multiplayer mission and see those frames tank a bit.. they work fine when nothing is there or minimal objects but in a busy server it might even choke the 3090ti..

Hey Everybody, I ran some more tests with the 3070 and I did get a bit more FPS in the same mission about +10FPS with the FPS being 65FPS during the mission in Syria and 69 towards the end flying upwards. In the Multiplay server I was getting 80FPS on the ground in Syria on the DDCS Server with about 30 people in it. So it seems there was a little boost going with the 3070 over the 1080Ti. could I have lived with the 1080Ti a bit longer more then likely as it was really only -10-15FPS difference. here are the 2 screenshots during the mission. I am going to try and do the trackfile and see what it gets then as I just reran the mission from scratch so there could be some more variables..

Hey All, I, just purchased a 3070 and I am going to run tests with my 1080Ti which I just completed and when I get the 3070 this Fri. or Sat. I will conduct the rest of the test. Before I start, I will write in my full specs of my hardware. I will also include some screenshots and a track file for your testing. So I used the F16 in Syria for my first test and the FPS are at about 45-47. going to post my options as well. Here is a list of my current Hardware: 1. Intel 10700K @ 4.8Ghz 1.29v 2. Noctua NH-U14Heatsink and fan push position. 3. MSI Aror 1080Ti 11GB VRam. Stock heatsink. 452.06driver 4. G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 4000mhz. 1.5v 5. Sound Blaster Z latest updated drivers 6. Buttkicker Gamer. 7. Roccat Kave 5.1 analog headset. 8. Win 10 Pro Version 22H2 OS Build 19045-2673. 9. HP Reverb G2 2440x2388 60% Native. I, have 2 screenshots and the FPS I was getting is about 45-47FPS topping out at the end at 50FPS. Here are the screenshots plus track file, if you would want to recreate it on your setup. When, I get the 3070, I will first clean it then run the test and see if there is going to be a big difference or not. I am hoping it will bump up the FPS a bitmore and run smoother. Right now when looking left and right I get some microstuter, so I am hoping that gets cleaned up and will be a improvement.. EDIT: I turned off MSAAx2 and I got 10FPS more.. Neph_syria.trk

the only problem with that is it would need to be a free model and those models hardly take much resources. I have seen a benchmark made like you stated at the DCS Website in user files I think it used a su-25 but that was quite a few patches ago. no telling if it would still be good. Can you play tracks of modules you do not own?

I have a 10700K OC to 4.8ghz with a 1080Ti and a Reverb G2 headset using Open XR and get 45-60fps @ 60% Res it looks fine too me and seems smooth enough to fly no issues in MP either. I fly the through the inferno Syri and Caucus.. Not sure why so many seem to have issues but I guess it is just one of those things.. Glad it works good enough for me as VR in DCS is really nice..
