  1. Tusler, thanks. To be clear, the main web page is www.authentikit.org. Cheers
  2. I posted this over in the Mosquito group, but then realized maybe folks here would have an interest: The freeware control designs and prototypes for the DH98 Mosquito FB.VI are progressing nicely. You can get ready for the full control system release later this year by building the Universal Hub, available for free on the AuthentiKit website. Freeware Mosquito Flight Controls Update
  3. Some news from AuthentiKit. The freeware control designs and prototypes for the DH98 Mosquito FB.VI are progressing nicely. You can get ready for the full control system release later this year by building the Universal Hub, available for free on the AuthentiKit website. https://youtu.be/o_W4UYF8wQI
  4. Yaw 2 Demo and Interview with Yaw VR CEO at FlightSimExpo '21 Not sure if this is the right place for a link to this 27 minute long YouTube video on the Yaw 2 motion simulator, but I believe it is.
  5. Who said next Wednesday is release day? I haven't heard that.
  6. Are we done with Mossie Mondays?
  7. Thanks. Makes sense.
  8. Looks like that may be exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks. Being keys, I assume those are momentary contact switches? This is from one of the reviews. Doesn't exactly look to be plug-and-play. If I wanted to worry about this kinda stuff, I'd build my own. No bueno.
  9. Why wouldn't a USB mouse work for this purpose? Use the left button for VR Zoom and the right button for Spyglass?
  10. Yep, I understand. I have a wired num keypad, but that's a little large to plop onto my throttle quadrant. Surely somebody sells a simple switch with the appropriate electronics included, and a USB cable, no?
  11. I understand. I used to use one of the hat switches on my VKB Gladiator, but I won't be using that stick for this application. Looking for a stand alone control.
  12. @ShaunX, thanks for your response. I'm configuring a Spitfire cockpit using a 3D printed AuthentiKit stick and quadrant, and not my TWCS. Any suggestion for a prebuilt single hat switch? Like I said, I just want to buy something, attach it to my mounting scheme, plug it in, and configure.
  13. I'd like to add a simple VR Zoom button to the side of my throttle. IIRC, this is a switch, not an axis, correct? I don't want to spend a lot of time on this, so does anybody know of a premade single switch USB controller I can plug-and-play? I've seen a number of pre-made foot pedals, but I plan on my feet being busy with the rudder controls. Thanks in advance.
  14. That's an old screen capture of the cockpit that doesn't match the FB.VI. ED has corrected this, and now the rudder trim wheel is on the sunscreen of the instrument panel, between the gunsight and the radiator cowl switches. The elevator (tail) trim wheel is roughly located at the pilot's left hip. The rudder trim wheel is approx 80mm in diameter, and the tail trim wheel has three spokes, internal knurls for finger grips, and is approx. 170mm in diameter.

  16. I've recently watched both "633 Squadron" and "Mosquito Squadron". Let me just say, IMO, the former is a much better movie.
  17. Yaw have just issued a stretch goal reward of side rails, and also have a desk that mounts in front of the seat.
  18. Just digging up this old thread since the Gladiator upgrade kits are finally in stock. Does this allow MkII sticks to be able to mount SCG grips only or also the MCG grips?
  19. Thanks, Bart. That's a confusing website. It appears it's a Canadian company, but all I could find is the .uk URL, and the prices are only in pounds. I'm in the US, so I'm going to see if I an find a different URL for Abe Books. Ok, it was as simple as changing the .co.uk to .com. Free shipping to the US, too. They only had used examples of the older version, but that's ok. Was a lot cheaper.
  20. Not sure. I know they're talking 2 person crew operations, like the Tomcat. There might be the ability to see NPC next to you.
  21. Ah, saw that on the US Amazon site. Pretty expensive book; at least $60. Worth it, in your opinion?
  22. Which book is that?
  23. Thank you, sir! Can't wait to see what greatness you and your team are coming up with!
  24. Thanks for the update! Good to hear from ED. You're only changing the external model and skins, or are you reworking the cockpit, also?
