If you look in the VoiceAttack commands list for the profile (pencil icon) there should be a set of phrases under the Extensions category such as Radio Tune and TACAN Tune. These are the AIRIO commands to get Jester to do these things. I have a southern UK accent and voice recognition kept confusing tune and two/too/to so I ended up changing the phrases to Radio Freak and Tack Freak. I also use Oh for zero and dot for decimal. You will need to play and see what works for you. For frequencies you either need to have noted these down, use the F10 map or use the interactive kneeboard (a separate Vaicom licence). In terms of the wheel I think you just need to close VA and then run DCS. If that doesn't work run a quick repair of DCS first. Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk

Kingston HyperX Cloud II headset mic noise cancellation
hornblower793 replied to GeneralDynamics's topic in VAICOM
Just to say I also use this headset and can vouch for its sound qualities. It is also very comfortable to use - you just need to make sure the front of the mic is towards your mouth (both front and rear being covered by the noise baffle) Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk -
How are you asking for the other pages (they are a different command structure so 'Air Traffic...Page' etc)

Good to know, and will lodge that possible solution in the brain as this issue seems to come up regularly

The easiest way is to open Tac View and click Open - this should open the folder containing the Tacview .acmi files. You set this folder from Tacview and not DCS. Click the spanner and screwdriver icon in Tacview and then select ACMI files recording folder... from the menu

Do you run a multi-monitor setup? When you press LCtrl + LAlt + C does a second Vaicom window appear in the takbar - if so is this an empty white square or does it show the config window? If the latter then right click on it and select move from the menu that appears - this should allow you to use the arrow keys from your keyboard to bring it back on screen.

Lost initialization keys, how to contact for replacement keys.

You have done the right thing but @Hollywood_315 must be away or dealing with something else. Having checked this morning he hasn't visited the forums since 28th January so life must have intervened. I was exchanging messages with him on the 27th January so.... Patience is probably all you have at the moment -

Does it fully close or move into the hidden icons in the notification area? Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk -

Yes - you need to keep the PTT pressed all the time between saying Options and the Take command. If you need to go into a sub-menu you will need to use Take more than once e.g. Options Take 5 Take 2 would show the comms menu, select the sub-menu at option 5 and then pick option 2 from the sub menu

Go into Voiceattack settings (the spanner) and on the Recognition tab check that your Windows speech recording device is set to your VR mic and on the Audio tab you can also try setting the Override default recording device to your VR headset

Are they in a separate profile daisy-chained to the Vaicom one? If so, try clicking the REL HOT button on the Vaicom PTT tab. This will leave VoiceAttack in listening mode when you release the PTT so you can speak these other commands

Glad it is working again

Michael, Have you checked the mapping for your joystick in Voiceattack is still recognised? Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk

Yes it is

Yes, this is how it works as far as I know. For anyone who is interested, I changed my Map Markers command phrase (found in the Extensions category of the VA profile list from [1...10] to [1...30] and Jester happily selected waypoint 25 to a steerpoint so we could navigate to it. Most of the time I don't get the issue but when I do I just delete the Export.lua, let Vaicom recreate it, close Vaicom and then copy an old Export.lua with Tacview in as well back and restart. Takes a couple of minutes to do and all is good

I think you need to search the whole forum for this - the Interactive Kneeboard is just an extension of the overall DCS kneeboard, so you need to look for threads discussing the export of the DCS kneeboard

The whole point of SNGL is that it maps all your aircraft radios to the single TX that you have selected. I have never run this way so cannot help further at the moment. If I get a chance after work today I will have a play and see what happens Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk

You need to go into the Vaicom config (Ctrl+Alt+C) > Preferences tab and click Extended Command Set I don't know whether this will work, but have you tried setting the Map wheel on the PTT tab of Vaicom to SNGL and then used the up and down arrows next to the green screen to select TX5?

When you use Ctrl+Alt+V are you sat in the cockpit? If not, Vaicom will show Easy Comms On because it does not know which way the DCS option is set Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
