OK, the briefing problem is fixed. I put the briefing in the Red side and you are playing the Blue side. Lil embarassing there. I also made some subtle changes to things I found in all the missions. I still can't get my pea brain wrapped around the math of scoring each mission, but I am close. Fly the missions per the briefing and you will know if you succeed if you do what the briefing says. My next campaign I am going to do with scoring but I want to get down the basics first. Delete your old campaign and insert this new one and then as you did before, tear me a new A-hole on what you find :) Turkey vs Insurgents.zip

Well damn, mission one was supposed to go as you guessed. Two enemy attacks that you had to thwart in time to let the convoys pass. I will get right on mission one and fix what you have pointed out. Thank you very much for your time. EDIT: I just realized why there was no brief so there is no brief for ANY of the missions so stop flying this turkey and I'll go thru all the missions and fix them. I just realized some really bone headed, got in a hurry, stupid things that I did. As for the FARP, it was tough finding a place to put it in Turkey so it will stay put. I will be adjusting waypoints though so AP can be used a little better but not total reliance :). Man I am glad you gave such a good debrief or I would have never caught the problems. I'll have the improved campaign up by later today to start over and test out. As for knowing if you advanced or not, just do what the brief says. Once I figure out the points thing, I will be able to implement it.

Anyone have a chance to fly my small campaign? Really like to hear some feedback on it.

I think that might be a very plausible scenario. I voted for the second week in March but wish I had voted for the third week now.

There was Coastal Arty in LOMAC, but it has since disappeared with BS.

There is no coastal Arty in Black Shark. There are only 3 Arty units and one mobile 122 MM Mortar unit.

I think I agree with that. I know the patch will come in good time and the poll is completely optional. You don't have to participate in the fun if you don't want to. Just pass on by, nothing to see here if you are not interested. I think I am more interested in what is fixed then when it comes out because I know it will come out when it is ready. Or two weeks, whichever comes first :) :) :)

OK, here it is. I want to hear the good bad and ugly of it all. Just unzip that file into your campaign folder of Black Shark and it should be listed in there. I didn't apply any points or anything so you will just go from one mission to the next. I haven't quite gotten a grasp on assigning points so you can advance to the next level. That is what I will work on next in my next small campaign. Campaigns.zip

If that sat view is something like Command and Conquer type view, yes that would be AWESOME to have and could make building very complex and dynamic missions and campaigns so much easier.

I would like to see the new features also. I just finished a short single play campaign. Matt, I think it was Matt, stated that unlike LOMAC, the missions you built in version 1.0 will play over into the patched version, so that is good news and a nice change.

There has been no official release of patch info. There have been tidbits here and there in threads, from ED people, but you would have to search them out as they are spread over several threads. I can't wait to see what is on the fix list also.

I need a person who has the time to go thru a 7 mission campaign that I made and give me in depth debriefing on how it worked, if it was fun, the total run down basically. Anyone interested. It is based on Turkey vs Insurgents.

I remember that game. It played nothing like the intro of course and was sort of a stinker. I believe, if memory serves me correctly that it was released early and there was either one or no patches for it though it sorely needed several. Great video though.

That was a good ideer but I can't edit it in now unfortunately. I like the ideer of them putting a number to it and then justifying the number in some short way also instead of just doing a poll. The poll give the numbers but I like to have them justified because I don't think these magazine people can actually justify their numbers.

It seems there are still some issue's that are coming up, missions are being built but it sure looks like the community for the most part has settled into a Holding Pattern waiting for the patch to come out. I can almost feel the anxiety on message board :)

Lets not quote what you disagree with. Rather just do your own review on multiplay. We don't want any agree or disagree on this, we want a review in your own words, kinda like what you did after you quoted what you disagreed with :) I hope you understand I am not having a go at you, just saying what I was looking for when I started this thread. We don't want any pissing contests in this thread.

Lets go people. I know there are a lot more opinionated people in our community. Lurkers, this is your chance to weigh in. ED is watching this thread and listening to their customer base. Us big mouths can't be the only ones weighing in, we need to hear from first time posters or those who play and never post.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Bug or Russian Techno. I wish a ED guru could come in and give us some idea of the lasers life of usefullness so we could put this to bed.

Good question as this is becoming a hot topic. Can't wait to hear the answer on this one. Might be something we look forward to in the patch if possible.
