That is strange and sounds like you might have a conflict. Check to make sure there are no other commands being used/sent for the throttle. My Cougar works like a good kitty with BS in Simulation mode.
I just looked and I and Y select the inner and outer hardpoints. For missiles you then have to get targetting system lined up with your locked target which will produce a "C" in your HUD and you can fire the missile by holding down the fire button. You should be able to fire rockets just by firing them and without locking a target or any extra effort.
EDIT: And as GG said, make sure you have the Master Arm ON.
Go to the UI, then Options, then controls, and study the button commands. I believe they are in alphabetical order. It will have all the answers. You can also then assign those critical buttons to your joystick. You need to select the proper hardpoint to fire missiles or rockets. Hardpoint selection is in the button command list but I don't recall the command right off hand.
Sorry I don't subscribe to disabling something to get something to work becuase to disable something means your missing something that you could use. Roll back to the 8.12, stable drivers and have it all.
I used the 8.12's on my 1900 XTX (Prior to the new rig) and they were rock solid in Black Shark and performance was pretty decent. As I understand it, the new drivers that are causing problems after the 8.12's aren't just causing problems with Black Shark but with other games also. Go with what works.
It's possible. Anything is possible. Resources, desire, want to, good taste for all audiences, screw it all, PUT IT IN! 36D on 120 pound frame would be puuuuuuuuuuuurfect.
Yes Allied Force has FAC implemented, but it doesn't work. However if it worked like it is designed to, it would be the BOMB, no pun intended. I would like to see something like that in Black Shark but that is a wish list item.
I believe it was acutally one of the testers who stated that Matt had changed all campaigns to cold start. I read it also and it was from someone who works for ED, I just don't remember who.
Not until they are done with making all the fixes and are frozen for beta testing. And then Beta Testing might bring up new issues. When you see a fix list, look for the patch a few days to a week afterwards.
8.12 are the latest rock stable ATI drivers out. Switch to them regardless what else you do. The 9.4's came out the last few days but I haven't heard a report on them and Black Shark.
