Yeah that aaaaand there's a bug right now in which you can't change antenna elevation at all in TWS mode. In RWS you can change it but the numbers won't change to show that you did.

Don't underestimate Jester AI. He is quite useful and capable when you understand what he can and cannot do. He is also completely separate from the normal ED aircraft AI. I think you'll like the JF-17.

Objectively it's the F-14 or JF-17. I'm not sure why people are bringing up Hornets and Viggens when they're not near complete or not fighters (???)

Even if one accepts the spurious argument that we, the paying customers, are in fact the alpha testers, it's still pretty embarrassing to release an alpha version that takes one step forward and three major steps back. And no, I won't refer to the messes they frequently release as betas. Betas have already been bug-tested and had QA passes to fix major issues. ED's releases are alphas at best. Stable is more appropriately called a beta.

Their results were very similar to Deka's (and Nighthawk's). I don't think it's more accurate now. There is massively more transonic drag than there should be according to ED's CFDs.

Not sure what relevance how hard or not ED is working has with objectively how incomplete the Viper is at this point in time.

I was referring to real life. It's clear the missiles in DCS have weird behavior compared to what anyone would expect from real life.

ED hasn't updated Stable since Dec. 23, 2019 (five months ago). They don't really care about Stable.

I noticed that too. The in-game tests he showed us looked nothing like the CFD tests they did. I thought it was pretty weird they used it as an example of "improving" the SD-10. Hopefully in the future ED will handle missiles better. Right now it's pretty disappointing.

I fired about 12 SD-10s on Growling Sidewinder yesterday and only about 4 actually tracked anything. Yes, they were all properly locked in TWS. I've flown the JF-17 a lot and never had this issue before.

All DCS fox 3 missiles can occasionally track through terrain. It's an ED problem.

You can set fuze to SAFE on a GBU and it won't explode.

It is ED themselves who said their Hornet FM is intentionally inaccurate. Personally, I don't believe their reasons, but they absolutely have claimed this.

Neither ED nor Deka has access to classified information. It may be non-public, but that is not always the same thing as classified.
