  1. Ok, thanks for the prompt answer! I believe this qualifies as a hack attempt then, as I haven't been changing or resetting any passwords lately. Are you interested in examining the email? If not I'll just delete them.
  2. I just got a mail from webmaster at eagle.ru, asking me to change my password using the link included in the email. Is that a legit request? Reason I'm asking is I got no less than four emails, saying the same thing.. It all seems a bit strange?!
  3. I think these are the maps used in DCS Manager? http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=37&file=1214
  4. I just flew this, and thought I'd say thanks! Had a really good time, and it gives a good sense of urgency towards the end there..!
  5. Haha, cool Well, one certainly learns a lot messing around with this stuff. What about your caution panel and indicators, will those also be driven from Open Cockpit cards or a Phidgets board? Now, off to read up on OC cards... :book:
  6. Halløj :) Hmm, that is a problem.. Searched around a bit, I wonder if this will do the job? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0U008P7852 For DP to Composite (wich is the yellow RCA plug as far as I know?)
  7. Looking real good there Linden. Now, buttons and screen exports for LCD's I get, but I have absolutely no idea how to drive these segmented? displays. Do you by chance plan to do a short howto on the subject later on, or maybe sell displays all ready to hook up?
  8. Hi Tom, Since I'm also lined up for Lindens CDU I'm wondering about the same thing my self. I haven't bought the screen just yet though. Is there a VGA input on the screen? If so, I've had a couple of other VGA monitors hooked up through a DP-VGA adaptor, no problem? I can go dig out the adaptor and see what brand it is if you want? It's this one:www.amazon.com/Sapphire-100916-Active-Display-Cable/dp/B003N301D2/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt
  9. Another Dane reporting here, just picked it up at the Post office. Looking good, and the glued bend seems to be really solid. May I ask what kind of glue you used? Og god weekend herfra også :)
  10. Nifty idea there! My suggestion for keeping them in place would simply be to use the protruding screws already on the throttle. I have used a table at work, where the plexiglas covering the tabletop were held in place in a similar way. Screws in the table and holes for the screwheads drilled partway through the plexi. It usually didn't move anywhere, and it was easy to replace maps and stuff underneath.
  11. Oups, sorry, I'll get on with it tonight, standby..
  12. I just measured the Warthog stick plate, and the holes are spaced 60 x 60mm Diagonally 85mm It seems the holes are 4,2mm or there abouts
  13. Ok, sorry for the confusion. It's still a bit weird though, but I've found out if I start Helios after the cockpit is loaded all is good. I flew Carbon Blade last night, but I'll have to give it a go again today. I got nailed near the end, while doing a gun run. Thanks for making these missions, all the comms makes them very immersive i think. And it's a nice touch with the operators having different signal strength and noise, it really makes you pay attention to the radios.
  14. This seems like another really cool and immersive mission, however I have a bit of a problem running it. Both Smoke that Thunders and Carbon Blade makes my Helios setup go nuts at mission start. Inverter switch, Radio switches and all other kind of stuff switches itself off/on continuosly and pretty much incapacitates my bird. Do you do anything in the mission file that touches the cockpit setup at mission start by chance? Reason I'm asking is I haven't seen this in any other missions. I'm running DCSW v. 7286 btw.
  15. That sure is a nice looking setup. Care to share some pics of how you switch from flight to driving config?
  16. There should be a manual in this folder DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Su-25T\Doc
  17. Uhh, I guess that means I'd better go finish up my BFT then
  18. We don't live in a world where internet is available everywhere either...
  19. Hi Tom, great initiative, sign me up for one please!
  20. They might be perfect for printing buttons and knobs, provided the material is solid enough?
  21. Thanks for chiming in, yeah, I was pretty sure about P51 not being compatible with Helios yet, but thought I'd better ask anyway.. You're right about no WWII stuff, but still I find it pretty fun and very challenging to fly the P51. My landings still look like crap, and dogfight skills are none existant :joystick: Still good fun though, double so if I could make a instrumentpanel for it.
  22. I have been running Helios and Loz's profile for A10C for some time now, and it's a pure joy to fly with! Now I'm trying to load up with enough coffee to get Helios and BlackShark running too, however I think I read somewhere that the viewport exports for A10 and BS can't co-exist in DCSWorld, and one would have to edit or swap the files everytime when changing aircraft. Is that so, or is it in fact possible to have World configured for both at the same time? Wich leads me to the next, probably silly question. Is it possible to make a profile for the P51 or does Helios need an update for that to work? As you can tell I haven't really done anything in Helios yet, exept monkey see, monkey do stuff
  23. Exactly this, even though I find it ok to have the center of the screen right on eye level or maybe a tad below. Due to my pit I couldn't do that with the 46" Perhaps you could try and cut out a piece of cardboard, the size of your new screen, and see how it matches up with your eye level when you are seated? Other than the neck issue the 46" was pretty good! It made the virtual cockpits seem almost 1:1 in size when sitting 3' away  It dosen't beat a triplescreen setup, but compared to a 23" monitor it's absolutely fantastic.
