  1. I had the exact same issue and the exact same resolution! If anyone has any questions about DeltaSims customer service or being cautious about buying from him, let me tell ya, there are zero worries with him. Top Notch guy! Takes great care of his customers and has a quality product! Thanks again Delta!
  2. I cant read a damn thing that site says on it!
  3. For DCS seems like overkill IMO. But it would be interesting. lol
  4. Wait a minute... Im probably hitting micro center tomorrow to pick up a replacement for my current i7-8700 (not K) cpu. Was going to get an i7-9700K model. Im a bit confused on the choices though. Is the Ryzen 3900x better than a 9700k? What other options should I be looking at? Should I save a few bucks and go i5 and get hyper threading? Sorry guys, Im lost on the new architectures for the CPU's now a days. That said, my current specs are i7-8700, Asus Prime B360M-A mobo, 64gb Corsaid DDR4, RTX 2080Ti, Samsung Odyssey Plus WMD. Whats the best bang for the buck to run with? I expect to upgrade the mobo and go to liquid cooling within a few months. So I know I will be bottlenecked a little with the mobo. Any thoughts on those as well?
  5. @stuartaston Just came here to check on this same issue... Thanks again Stuart!
  6. Yep... Tuning is the fun part! Yea, I did see that the board is not a favorite for overclocking. I am hoping the 9700K will not need the overclocking right now until I can upgrade the mobo and get a liquid cooler next. Any recommendation on a MOBO?
  7. @stuartaston Thank you again for all your help with this. I work in IT, but just not that up to date on the processors in gaming nowadays! LOL Funny thing though is the 8700 I currently have is same price if not more expensive than the 8700K/9700K that I am looking at. Again though, I appreciate all your help. I used your settings last night and just had such bad clarity and shimmering in the Hoggit server, I had to up some things to be able to even read the cockpit test clearly without zooming in.
  8. I dont have, nor do I remember ever seeing this folder.
  9. So here is the benchmark that I get on my system... https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26134399 What would be a recommended processor to upgrade to? I am looking at either an i7 9700K or 8700K. I am just not sure which one I should go with or if there is something better. My MOBO is the Asus Prime B360M-A.
  10. THANK YOU! Exactly what I was looking for. Testing the settings now.
  11. CPU is next on the list... Hopefully in a week or two. :pilotfly:
  12. Vers 2 and 3 updates are now being retired... Version 4 is on the printer now!
  13. So one of the things Im looking for info on is in the WMR setup screen settings. Should I be running Automatic, 60hz or 90hz? Attached pics show current settings... I know I am all out of whack right now. lol
  14. Yea I was afraid the CPU was an issue... Actually, knew it was. LOL But shouldnt I still be able to get some decent frames with that 2080TI? I can run at about 30-35 fps normal with a little overclock in Firestorm.
  15. HELP!!! Hello all, Looking to see what settings others are running in the NVIDIA control panel as it seems to change quite often. I am currently running: NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL Game Ready Driver Version: 445.75 Release: 3/23/2020 Some specs if anyone has some suggestions on Steam and ingame settings as well: Intel Core i7-8700 3.2GHz (not K) 12MB L3 Cache Corsair DDR 64gb RAM XPG GAMMIX 1TB S11 Pro 3D NAND PCIe NVMe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 SSD as C: Crucial 1TB SSD as D: Zotach RTX 2080 TI video Samsung Odyssey + WMR VR headset Thats the main components. But just having a hard time in getting my VR squeezed out. I am sure someone will say to upgrade the O+ and the Processor... Those are next. But I should be able to pull more than 32 FPS with that 2080 TI card. If anyone would be so kind to post their NVIDIA, Steam and DCS configs, I would greatly appreciate it. Im to the point now of wiping out everything and starting over. I fly the Tomcat more than anything, but do have the FC3, AV-8, F-18, F-16, P-51 modules among others. NTTR, PG, CAUC, Normandy maps. The only mods I am running are the VR Hangar screen, my own music tracks (dont run them much) Opening theme mod, the Shaders IC Pass mod. All those are controlled through OGVME. Also run SRS. Thanks for any help!
  16. Do you have access to a 3D printer? I have one that I have been running for a while now. Offset tube model. Really nice. Cables are easy to make. Just a little reading and some modding and bang!
  17. Just finished putting the F-14 ACM panel parts together. The backing box is on the printer now so I have some time to complete the wiring. It will bolt to my stick mount. Using a simple usb joystick controller to power this so it will be seen as a regular controller in DCS. Since I am under state quarantine may as well be productive! Updated my Warthog with the 3D parts from Thingiverse and my own designs. Switch caps, Landing Gear Lever and the Streamdeck case and mounts. Anyone else have some 3D parts/mods to show off for their equipment? Landing Gear Lever. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3996459 Boeing Switches https://www.thingiverse.com/search…
  18. Gotcha! Thanks. FYI, This is what I am seeing.
  19. I have the ring and everything set. But the outer ring/mask isnt blacked out. It is like a distorted image... Not sure whats causing that.
  20. Im an idiot! I read your previous post wrong. I mistook that the 2.5.5.xxx version was working in 2.5.6 with the ICPass mod. I am still not having any luck with it loading and passing IC check when I run the 2.5.6 version with the ICPass mod.
  21. No luck with this one... I am getting a compiling error: I am loading the DCS Performance Mod for 2.5.5.41371 then I load the DCS VR Shaders 2.5.6 (ICPass) mod.
  22. Does this work in MP??? If so, do I exit the server, go back in or just hit ESC, select ROLE and go back into the plane (same or different)? Thanks!
  23. Good evening Jockeys! I have a couple of quick simple questions regarding using Jester for some of the settings... 1. Going into BVR mode. - If I set Radar to Auto Mode, does that also include Auto Distance, Auto Azimuth/Elevation or is it just auto for TWS or STT? Normally, I set Elevation/Azimuth to Auto, then set Distance to Auto, then set Radar mode to Auto. Is all that necessary? 2. Datalink - When doing air to air combat, do I want to set HOST to AWACS (ex: Overlord/Magic/Darkstar) then set type to Tactical? Or should I just be using Fighter to Fighter mode? Also, when in a MP session, I have seen multiple AWACS. I have seen a few servers that run DARKSTAR and another OVERLORD. Are they different for different missions (A/A vs A/G) 3. Countermeasures - Going into CMS, for the jammer, does it display what to set it to, or what it currently IS set to? Open the menu, Jammer slot shows XMIT. Does that mean that it is currently in XMIT mode and jamming or do I need to click on that to turn it on, causing it to show STNDBY mode in the slot? I'm a little confused on that one. 4. Navigation - I normally go into Select from Map, then Fixed Point and set the servers bullseye. I am assuming that this is correct. - I never seem to be able to get Jester to set the current waypoint to WP1. It is always set on WP2. Is this normal? - What are the DLWP1, DLWP2, DLWP3, DLST and DLFP waypoints used for? I know that they are for Datalink Waypoints, Datalink Surface Targets and Datalink Fixed Points. Does that mean that it pulls the points from the AWACS that I am currently using as host in the Datalink menu using Tactical Datalink setting? Other questions: 5. HYD Switch - Under the landing gear lever to the right, there is a toggle for HYD settings for FLGHT and LNDNG. What is this used for? I know when you drop the gear, there is a tab that sets it to LNDNG mode. But does it need to be flipped to FLGHT after gear up at take off? I have other questions that I am sure I will be asking about soon. I have watched several tuts from the greats like Jabbers, Wags, Grim Reapers but some questions are still there that I am not catching. Thanks in advance to any help! Keep up the great work HeatBlur!
  24. I use the Sabrent Powered USB Hubs. I have a couple of different models. Most controllers use USB2 and dont play well with USB3. It just depends on the controller though and how much power it needs. I have one hub that has my TM Warthog stick, throttle, logi rudder pedals, logi throttle tqs, a small keyboard, 2 elgato stream decks, logi trackball/mouse, razer orbweaver all attached and used. Sometimes I attach my headset and TrackIR pro when I am not using VR and have no issues. Spend the money on the good hubs. I do use some of the USB3 hubs but connect them to the USB2 ports on the PC and that seems to work fine.
