My Stream Deck XL showed up today... WOOHOO!!! So now I am running 2 Stream Decks, a Stream Deck Mini and the Stream Deck XL. I am working on a collection of icons if anyone wants to donate to the cause. :D

Has anyone in the US sourced the correct rotary switch and the push button yet? I am just not having much luck on any of these as I normally get most of my stuff off of amazon. I greatly appreciate any help to source those parts. Thank you in advance!

I'd like for him to actually talk more. Sometimes he is a little too quiet.

Just fyi. I have the 6x6x4.3 switches and they did not seem to make contact with the adjustment lever. Just ordered a set of the 6x6x5 and will see how those work.

Thanks for the info... I may cut it this weekend then. I am just not sure that I wont put it back on another single headset at some point as I used to use my speakers and the headset was only for comms. But good info to know. I'll probably pick up another in case. :)

EXACTLY!!!! I may order another one and see about adding a short cable. Dont want to mess up my current one right now.:joystick: Tried it out earlier tonight and it works perfectly! Mounts are tight and solid. I changed the battery pack clip a little and put in a pathway for some velcro strip to run through. Looks damn nice if I do say so myself.

Any update on this? Just curious, did you make the icons or are they available for download somewhere?

Thanks for the viewer. I do have Fusion 360 and it is able to open those parts so all good on my side. AMAZING work by the way!

Hey all, Although I am running VR now with my Odyssey Plus HMD, I do want to run the headset every now and then with a tracker to show others the fun of this sim. I have a really nice Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless headset and a matching RGB Corsair stand. Also have the Trackir 5 Pro tracker... Problem is. It doesnt fit on the Void. The headband is just too big, thick and wide. 3D PRINTER TO THE RESCUE!!! I also saw another thread were someone had ordered the little Duracell rechargeable power packs and was able to make their TrackIR wireless, well, at least not connected to anything. So I made 3 different mounts for the Void. 1 for the TrackIR tracker to mount onto. 1 for the duracell power pack and 2 for the TrackIR cable to lock it onto the headband as I dont want to cut and rewire the Tracker just yet. I'll work on getting these put up on Thingverse in the next day or so. Special thanks to guys like @FoxDelta for his amazing work with 3D printed add ons. He has some outstanding mods for the Warthog and is always pushing the rest of us to try to get better.

what is the .sldprt file? I am assuming solidworks? I have Max, fusion, etc. I'll have to see if I can import the sldprt files.

One Cat Driver in a video I watched talked about the plane coming in slow, but with wings full sweep back into the merge... The bandit sees the sweep, things it is coming in supersonic and flies through. Once past, the cat would move full sweep wings forward and cut the low speed turn right on to the bandits 6 and fire. All the while, the bandit thinks he is going to out turn the cat. This was part of the added benefit to having a sweep manual override on the throttle. Been wanting to try that maneuver in one of the MP servers to see who I could fool. :pilotfly::pilotfly: But the cat pilot discussed the very thing you just mentioned.

Just FYI. I am updated to the latest beta. Loaded up 4 .ogg files using the naming info above, but did not put in the mod files. Fired up the walkman, flipped to b-side and boom! CTD immediately. I did get the sound of the tape flip but that was it.

@Strong05 Thanks... I am not able to locate the PD setting in Steam VR Settings though. I am running the Beta btw.

I have the VR Cover as well. I do like it versus the original but I wish they would release it with the MicroFiber/cloth material instead of the pvc/vinyl material as that does seem to get hot and cause more sweat than the original cover did. I had read that they were making one out of the same material as the original O VR Cover material but it looks like they have dropped that one now.

I would like to look at some of the settings the O+ users are running. I have a decent pit view in the F-14, however, I do need to zoom in on some gauges to be able to see some of the numbers, the altimiter is one of the main one that comes to mind as I cannot see the qfe setting or the angels numbers display. Otherwise, its a great headset. I am sure my issue is a setting problem that I just need to work through. There have been so many different settings that has worked for one and not others that it has all gotten a bit confusing. I am running the O+ on a I7-8700, Zotac 2080ti and 64gb on a NVMe M2.0 1tb drive. Also have a 1tb SSD and 1tb HDD on the system. (3) 24" Dell Pro monitors, 3 TM Cougar MFD's w/displays (though not active at this time), TM Warthog, 2 Elgato Stream Decks. Any one care to post their SteamVR and DCS settings? Also, the NVidia settings? Are you running reprojection or not? Thanks guys, this community has been awesome and a vast wealth of information for getting this sim up and running.

I was having this issue as well. But the last few days, I have noticed that as I continue on doing my pre-flight it does eventually come online. I think Jester is just working on other things and I have turned it on before he has started on that part of his checklist. I could be wrong... I mean I have been once, but then I was mistaken! :D

AWESOME!!! I am currently running 2 SD's and 1 mini. Pre ordered the XL model. These things work great! Thats an awesome job your doing. Looking forward to the release.

Not hard to understand... I just dont want to target the Hornets, Eagles, etc. Just doesnt seem right.

Jumping around on a couple of servers to try out some new scenarios and it seems as though most of the MP's have the Tomcat set in the RED force as Iranian. What is the point in that? I know Iran has a few cats, but why are the majority of servers forcing that to RED? Only reason I can think of for this is the number of Tomcat owners who want to join a server. To try and keep the numbers even across the boards. Come on guys! Most of us wanna fly our USA Tomcats! :pilotfly:

I was able to use this for a while, but have not been able to get it to launch now for at least a month or so. Great tool though for VR. Nice to copy and paste radio freq's and waypoint info...
