AIM-9 HUD Double D mode In Jabbers awesome video below, he talks about the Double D mode (default) for the AIM-9 on the HUD. Specifically around the 3:20 mark. It is the seeker head searching around the crosshair. But when I arm up the AIM-9 I am not seeing this seeker. Is this a binding I need to set? Not sure why it is that I do not see this. I normally fly using the AIM-9M model. Is it something to a different model of AIM-9? Thanks for all the help Heatblur and for the AWESOME mod! I use the switch below the airbrake on my warthog throttle. Middle is normal view, forward is normal zoom, back is the super zoom function. Works great. Locks in the zoom function until I click it back to the normal view. Settings are under the UI menu.

DCS, we really need to have the replay function of the sim updated. A set of on screen VCR type controls that we can toggle on or off would be awesome!!! It cannot be that hard to do as there are many other sims out there that have the capability and have had for years. Taking screenshots, videos etc would be so much easier. I have found that although I fly in VR, if I do my replays in non-VR mode, using only one screen instead of the 3 that I have, I get some really great screen shots and videos. However, not having better control over this is cumbersome. I dont know how some of the producers out there suffer through the current system other than actually recording everything in real time via OBS, Shadowplay or some other system. I'll give an example. I run the Nascar Racing 2003 series, still today, as well as iRacing. In both, there are the VCR controls, a drop down list of available cameras, ability to select a target car to focus on, locking track view of the target car, etc. This is one of the biggest drawbacks to the module and it doesnt appear to have had any improvements for several years after looking at the dates of the videos, tutorials and shots of the system. One other option that would be nice is the ability to remove the on screen overlays. Screenshots can be ruined because of an ill placed JSTAR report, SRS overlay, Chat box, etc. One of the biggest gripes I have is the display of the Jester menu in the F-14 that comes on and never clears off after the selections are completed. The ability to turn that display completely off in replay mode would help out greatly. One of the tricks I found is renaming the .trk file, to .miz, then running the editor to change some of the camera options, renaming back to .trk, then running the replay. Having the mission editor be able to recognize .trk files would also help a great deal, remove the option of possible corruption, ease up the amount of file management needed to get a replay and save a huge amount of time. DCS is, imho, the greatest sim to date. I have no problem with purchasing the modules even in early access. I have quite a few that I purchased and have never even sat in yet. But the replay function really kills the ability to have a nice capture system for the flights. I am sure the rest of the community would back me on the request. Most of us do not stream youtube, twitch, or other vids and this is something we do for fun, not for profit. And I am ok with all the ones who do. Thank you to each and everyone of them. Aside from that, thank you all again for the best fighter sim yet! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Are the toggles actually turning? Or is it just that the set screws arent biting into the toggle enough to hold the levers from turning? I have the same issue with some of the 3D printed switch caps I made. Only way I found around it was to put up a gate on the sides of the switch and add some flats that fit inside to keep them from rotating. That or grind one side of the toggle switch flat or counter sink the shaft for the set screws to have a surface to grab hold of.

Stupid questions here guys... So how is everyone setup with SRS, VA, Vaicom, AIRIO and the profiles from Dailey? I understand how they all work together, but how are you hotas buttons setup? I have a 4 way hat that is set to UP/TX1, DN/TX2/ FWD/Comm Menu 1, AFT/Comm menu 2. I have the VA hotkey set to Throttle/Joystick1/Button15. Pinky button on the TMWH left side front of the throttle. This is set to the Toggle listening Start/Stop option. I have the setups in place, everything is playing nicely together, but I am so confused on the actual button setups for everything. Just a thought, but is there a way to only sticky the threads to page 1 of the board? I think that is the real issue. The number of sticky threads is large, I understand that and am actually happy they are there. But going to page 2 and seeing the same 15 threads at the top eats up a lot of real estate on the board. Then by time you get to page 3 and see the same top sticky's again... Well, there you have the real issue. Just my .02 cents worth. :megalol::megalol::megalol::joystick::pilotfly:

I am seeing the stuttering in the MP screen while in the F-14 and have noticed some degradation in VR performance overall in the Cat. I'' run the update and repair tomorrow, but I am not running many mods at all. The walkman music, VR background is all I have ever ran. But this issue just started with the last update or 2 updates.

I am all for the sarcastic comments! :megalol: I do have all the modules for VA. I have SRS, Discord, Teamspeak, Voice Attack, Chatter Pack, Vaicom Pro, AIRIO and the entire catalog of @dailey123 awesome profiles and packs. I just have not had time to actually make everything work together... I need to tear into everything and see how I should config the PTT on my throttle to work with all the stuff. I normally dont run discord and hardly ever use teamspeak at all (I think I uninstalled it). But I need to talk to someone who has everything working that can show me how they have their hotas setup for the Tomcat.

Heatblur, How about give us the option to adjust the amount of comments/frequency that jester talks to us? Normally, I fly MP, but sometimes get into the SP to practice some things. Unless the servers are running an active ATC/AWACS/etc, it is pretty quiet. How about a slider option to increase or decrease the frequency that Jester "Talks" to us during a flight? I know some thinks he talks to much already, but I do rather enjoy some of his funnier comments. This would allow us to select the amount of talking he does to our own liking. He could tell a joke or maybe a pretty detailed story about an Admirals daughter. I would like to see him do a little more on the call outs when in ACM mode... there is more info and frequency I would like to get from him rather than just six o'clock low. Closure speed, maybe BRA callout, etc. Thanks again for the best module in DCS. I bought the F-16 and just cant bring myself to get out of the Kitty!

I created some frames to use for mounting the MFD's to the Neewer 8" monitors and to lock them onto the original MFD base for better stability. I originally did the display covers in grey to try and mimic the panel colors in most modern fighters. Unfortunately, the 3D filament is a little too light. Soooo.... Some Carbon Fiber vinyl wrap to the rescue!

@IronMike Any update on the fix for this issue? Just a thought, but is it possible to put a short "dead air" when fast fwd or rewinding? It would be nice to be able to know when the next song is starting. They did have CD players too, so maybe have a CD option for next/prev track with more than 10 songs. Just a thought. :D
