1. Noticed these bars after ejecting in the previous mission. Now they are always there.
2. To you is boring,to me is goddamn awesome:thumbup:. Different strokes I guess.
3. But what about MIG 25 and MIG 27. What would be the reason to not allow them to be simulated? Anyone care to speculate on that? I have no idea.
4. Since update 2.5.4.26552 I can't see on the F10 map altitude information in the upper left corner. Does anyone else have this issue? Everything else is ok. P.S:I have tried to post this in Release Version Bugs and Problems, but it is a read only
5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPD5q6DC43M:D
6. Damn it,u are right:doh:. I'm confident that sooner or later we will get proper in game LSO. My bet is till the end of the year;or maybe in two weeks:megalol:
7. No, we do not. All we know is what we have read. It is known that the army/navy are very open, honest, truthful and transparent organizations. Oh, wait....:P
8. Will there be a yt video:smilewink:?
9. Honestly, we don't know what really happened, and can only speculate.Personally, I take everything what I read regardless of source with a grain of salt (that's an understatement). It's just that tragedy's, that are caused by lack of common sense (and in general) make me angry. It is that lack of clear thought in stressful situation(if things happened as they say they did) that made me doubt his capability as a pilot. Grades do not show everything (example-Francis Stanley "Gabby" Gabreski whose grades did, pardon my French, sucked, and the man ended up being one of the highest scoring allied aces).
10. :megalol: Anyway, this is great news. Until F 14 is released, we have a great mod Alerax's LSO AI Script. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=223672
11. My guess is that the man did get to fly F 14 in the first place because of who his father was (James Dorsey, a prominent figure in the Naval aviation community. In 1987, Dorsey was the captain of the USS America, a supercarrier). Classic case of nepotism.
12. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I don't remember having these issues when I did the training missions. Now I don't know is it a new bug specific to training missions introduced in one of the recent patches, or is it an overall bug. Have you tried making your own quick mission in mission editor, and if that is the case did the problem persist? As I remember there was a step button in AA.I could be wrong though, since I have never used it.I cycle missiles with weapon select, same as you.:joystick: Edit:quote from https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=231229(post #5 from escaner) The STEP now only appears in A/G weapons. For A/A just use the HOTAS control again as you are doing (IIRC it says so in the manual). The training missions for A/A weapons should be updated tho, because they still say to use the DDI option which does not appear anymore./end quote I did not know that.So u can ignore my post:D
13. Thank you very much guys. U have been most helpful. I have wondered about this for ages, and would have never guessed. Concerning pushing down weapons selector to go from off to gun makes sense to me-Extra safety. Although, HUD in F 14 is a bare bone, it is my assumption (based on yt vids), that it gives you all necessary information in BVR and ACM regimes, including position of weapons selector. G X /SW X /SP X/ PH X;where X is the number of remaining missiles, and gun rounds (if gun selected in hundreds of rounds)
14. Really? I thought that selector switch just has 4 sliding positions-Off/GUN/SW/(SP/PH) Are you saying that in fourth position (SP/PH) you can depress selector switch? If that is the case can it be depressed on other positions-/GUN/SW/?:joystick:
15. I was always curious about this. Let's assume I have 4 Sparrows, 2 Phoenix missiles and 2 Sidewinders. On the weapon select switch on the stick there is one position marked as SP/PH How does one go about selecting Phoenix missiles over Sparrows, and vice versa?:D
16. Have you guys tried holding the button. Use the mouse and hold the left click for a few seconds. I remember having similar issues with some other modules. Holding the mouse button for a few seconds did resolve the problem for me.
17. Are you sure about that? HB loves HAL
18. Horses?Nah...i like turtles:smilewink:
19. I don't see the point. U just don't put them in mission if they are not of the period that you want. You really don't want me to remake The Final Countdown mission once/if Zero comes out:megalol:
20. Imagine formation of modern bombers who have gotten themselves in a modern SAM's launch envelope. It would be hard to miss. That's my uneducated guess.:D
21. I do not remember that IL 2 had any paid campaigns, only add-ons. That is until IL 1946 came out, then you had it all. IL 2 Community added the rest..... new maps, tons and tons of skins, and supporting software (IL2 Stab for example), D gen, campaigns. Jeeps, huts/structures and ground crew as well as AI aircraft (as you said) should come with new maps, and old ones should be updated.
22. Yes,but there will be no DLC.U will have New map with new AI pack
23. DLC Paid 3rd party content Maps and ground crew. Really?! New maps (with appropriate crew/equipment for the airfields)..... of course New modules... Check DLC..I hope not There is a thin line between your wish and, for example, custom pilot helmets for 5 bucks, or GPS/INS glide bombs Hornet add-on for 10 bucks.. Do you see where I'm going with this?
24. MIG 25... such a glorious aircraft.Muscle car of the sky. It would have unique game play, that's for sure. It has been on my wish list, along with MIG 21 and MIG 23, for a long time. We have got 21,23 is in the works...sooner or later it will come, I'm sure of it:thumbup:
25. Good thing that there aren't any political problems in the Persian Gulf, or we wouldn't have it:music_whistling:
