Yes reverb

I got a smoother play with mirrors on and cockpit res. on 512 every frame. Also using default OC graphics card profile.

modifiers are like "Shift, CTRL,Alt…..etc" press it in combination with other keys. so essentially if you only have 2 buttons on joystick you can assign it to 6+ commands using combinations with the modifier ie. "Shift + joystick buton 1" you can also combine modifiers like "CTRL + Alt + Joystick button 1" after you successfully add any button as a modifier like " TM throttle button 1 , you can assigned them by selecting from the column of controller you will be combining the modifier with like "Logitech joystick" then you press the "TM throttle button 1 + Logitech joystick button 1"

I’m assuming it would be like AFAC or JTAC. Except you see the laser move from one target to the next

Bomb loudout on mission 3 of Cage the Bear campaign, bombs are not aligned and attached. front 2 also clips part of Aircraft. I am on open beta

oh and if your not seeing the box indicator and not sure if it has taken the changes or not change the //"motionReprojectionIndicatorSize" : 0.05, //"motionReprojectionIndicatorXPosition" : 0.5, //"motionReprojectionIndicatorYPosition" : 0.5, reprojection is smoother when"motionReprojectionMode" : "auto", is left with //

so I did some experiment today after reading somewhere about default.vrsettings was a fix for vive and O+, I decided to comment out // most of them since I don,t use the controller I have a reverb not vive. added the "Dcs.exe" : true, in "NoInterEyeRotation" : { comment out the "obsoleteStateMaxTimeInSeconds": 1.0 including //"motionReprojectionMode" : "auto", and all the Indicator parameter. result is smoother frames. from jumpy 39fps to mostly 45fps on my custom mission I think what it essentially did is rebirth it back to non beta. since the file is there and steamvr always look at that file even if I get back to non beta

check the flashlight feature of the WMR, I forgot how to do it. But using that you'll see what the camera see's. I remember it being low quality black and white video. it maybe seeing light refraction which blinds it and makes it unable to track points on the wall. white contrast may not be good for the wall, I have black paper cutout contrast on my brown arm rest and white on black desk and drawer, white on black rudder pedals. and 4 feet away from walls so no problem with lights and contrast on wall. never get problem with tracking

You need sharp contrast. My quick solution was I taped a bunch of calling cards at edges of. My desk, on the floor, arm chairs, they help a lot when looking down towards your lap

broadcast which city or area you live on these post, someone might let you try theirs. I would if you’re in my area after a quick background check anyways

If anyone is having problem with washout color and not so clear text and gauges, make sure steamvr is video setting is very close to 2160 and the steamvr application setting of dcs is 100%, verify that by showing the resolution the same as video setting. I found this out when i was messing with xplane and thought i will down sample the application to 60%. Did not get addition fps but notice less sharp text and a bit wash out

had that happened to me after having the pc on for a while without running VR, when I got the time it wouldn't come up. a faster way to fix it disable and reenable the HP reverb in device manager.

as long as windows recognizes them, you can manually set which sound and mic to use from WMR portal settings and steamVR setting, it hijacks the windows default sound and mic when WMR and SteamVR runs and there's also an option to set it back when HMD stops. my reverb is called headphones and headset(Realtek USB2.0 Audio)

i know you’re asking for monitor, but I would advise looking up Rift-S. You’ll thank me later. I have reverb but rift-S also has good review.

Check that your windows user profile is not corrupted and windows creating some temp. profile every time you log in. Try to create a new window user profile and just use that.

there is a WMR beta within steam

I settled with 500MHz less cpu clock and down clock my 3.2Ghz memory to 3Ghz. No more error or restart. I had my ryzen1700CPU pushed at 8.5Ghz. When i tried reverb the first time it pushed my cpu to the edge and errors out til’ I corrupted my already bad cloned OS. After OS reinstall it is stable at 8Ghz and 3Ghz memory.

Another thing to look at is page file setting, it may be set manually too low or on a failing harddrive.

Focus more on AoA, the plane will start to rattle when approaching to half(can’t remember the number) but it will always start to stall and fly funny past the same spot. So what ever speed you are flying, when your pulling Gs look at it and maintain it just bellow the half mark
-
I just found out that there's also a beta for WMR for steam and is different than steamVR beta. I had the 188% at 2160 res. with only steamvr beta. when I opt for WMR beta for steam as well, that's when it shows aprox. 70% to get to 2160 res. looks the same but feels like I got a bit more smoother.

anyone have a fix for wmr going to sleep and closing the game? there's a registry edit we can do but I would be scared coz chance of pixel burn-in is high.
-
try morning setting with long shadows. I had mine set to default, high and visib ultra
-
anyone else have problem with shadows in a helicopter with reverb? portion of ground shadow disappear and appears as I move my view. it is like I have a giant eraser/mask attached to my view
-
today, booted up with low fps when I was consistently smooth on 45 fps yesterday. there's different ways of running dcs w/ reverb. few tries later i'm back to the same good performance. I just have to figure out which to boot up with the low fps again and confirm

In my case I needed a contrast. I got black desk, black pedal, and dark gray chair.
