You're starting fresh anyways, so you can rename config folder in saved games. next time you launch the game it will generate a new one with default settings
-
had the same problem, someone point out the left alt-y it cycles the map coordinates display
-
might need to enable DSR in Nvidia control panel. I didn't have higher resolution ingame until I enable that

I got 1 fan in on the front and 1 out on the side 2 out on top and 1 both side of radiator pushing air out. the idea is to get the air flowing with fresh air. never a good idea to open the case bcoz it disrupt the airflow. you want the negative pressure in the case so it always sucks in new air. also just checked my gpu is at 69C more than 3 times room temperature under load
-
are the fans on the other side of the radiator? aren't you blowing hot air on to the memory and graphics card area?
-
just what I needed thanks

request to have the ability to change Misc. map coordinate display while in-game. while I know how to convert seconds to decimal or decimal to seconds, I have to take off my VR headset just to do the math.
-
Good to know, by the way i just started messing with the OC, 2115MHz gpu and +400MHz mem, stable at 71°, before I get 76° at stock, manual fan profile is a must.

I got asus dual rtx 2080ti, I use rift. gpu tweak only shows 6GB memory used, same when using GPUz. GPU info say 11GB but on the usage graph it shows 6GB as max and as if that is the 100% Anyone else has the same usage?

The same idle cut off sometimes messes me up when I get everything done and ready to roll, I’ll hit idle cut off instead of parking brake release. It shuts the engine. Disregard, why was I thinking you’re asking about the AV8b
-
There is an Idle cut off switch behind the throtle. If you load a mission with throtle slightly forward the engine will not spool, as the throtle needs to be at idle and is stop by Idle cut off switch behind it. So pull the throtle back and click the idle cutoff(I dont see it,it’s forward of parking brake release). Once the indicator reach 99 move the throtle slightly forward(but you wont see the throtle move) it’ll start the engine. Then to rev up you’ll have to release the parking brake Sorry for he terminology not good at remembering them

My 2080ti stays at 76°(+50MHz +10% power OC) in VR with high to max settings, stays at 45 fps. Lots of fan blowing air out on top and back of case. My main monitor is crappy 27” 1080p, no need for 4k when in VR. Also don’t see difference on ingame resolution when in VR, so I keep it at 1080p
-
Yup but that does not get close enough like you’re standing close to the side. You can only get close enough that you still see the whole plane.
-
As the title say, please enable VR to get closer to Aircraft in F2 view. First time I tried VR the world feels big, but not being able to stand closer to aircraft feels like it’s scaled down a bit.

Please make a video dodging sams using this maneuver. That would be awsome to watch

Trip back to the store will cost me more lol. I just wished I’ve known this before and have not wait months with crappy hotas and rudder. I just finished one of the Mi8 campaign mission picking up troops while hovering on a side of very stip mountain.
-
I had sticky hotas and rudder, hard to fly helicopter with them or using toe breaks while staying in the center of the runway in a jet. I've been reading the fix was silicon grease. so I finally went and buy one. As I am opening the bottom of the throttle I notice a screw in the middle top that moved with the throttle.(visible from the bottom when throttle is at full). turned out that is the stiffness control, I loosen it and now it just glides and it would just slides down if you tilt the whole thing. no big deal since I normally have it bolted down on my desk. Now for the rudder, turned out there is a small latch that looks like a battery slot. inside it is a spring to keep it centered. I replaced it with 2 rubber bond. now who wants to buy the silicon spray that I bought?

It was mentioned on the facebook comment that you can, open a ticket with them to get the code assigned to a diff. Account as a gift Damn it you beat me to it

I'd say buy any module now, then it'll get you an excuse to upgrade your rig and when you do upgrade you'll know what specs to aim for. Also these modules don't really age anyways.

Ability to copy co-ordinates to the kneeboard

I figured it out. mklink /J "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\_downloads" "D:\DCS Download Junction\_downloads" That will create _download link from C: to D: The D: could have been named anything else but the C: which is the link must only be named _download for it to fool DCS updater. And don't forget to right click command promt and run as Admin.
-
Make sure there is no _download folder on C:drive. That's what the command is going to make.
-
Maybe you guys getting it mixed up. mklink /J "C:\LinkToFolder" "G:\Users\Name\OriginalFolder" Assume your game is on C: drive and you have backup G:drive Cut and paste the _download folder to the G: drive Now that G:drive is the original folder and the command will create a link folder on to the C: drive where _download folder used to be, pointing to the location in the G:drive. I'll send an actual command when I get to my PC later
