  1. What I can say about C model is that it is blank when batt on, but one can check the fuel by pressing MODE and (wait for SP) then ET, after a while it goes blank again. Must check that crank sw thingy some time.
  2. Would the fext circuit breaker do the same as if the electrical connector is removed from the bottle.
  3. Prepare to run if you accidentally discharge the bottle..
  4. Yes, if you push READY the fext is going to activate, if I remember right.
  5. And spin mode drives the leading edge flaps full down.
  6. It should also be lit when battery is switched on (cold start).
  7. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=212417
  8. Usually there is pod or drop tank or nothing
  9. Took off and landed on carrier, same thing, landed on sea when watched the track. Interesting was that the wingmen AI hornets crashed themselves on deck after I landed.
  10. RWS could give a hint of what there are flying
  11. I know it shows fuel amount when batt on. On IFEI pressing MODE waiting for SP then pressing ET, it shows the fuel amount for a few seconds. And it should not read "0" after batt is switched on in fuel amount, it should be blank.
  12. Well, shut down engines midair today, and paid attention to the engine rpms. Right after shutting them down rpms were over 40 but after a while rpms were like 13. Does that make enough hyd pressure to keep the TEFs down?
  13. One day it might be possible to play dcs as a ground crew, that would be awesome. Ladder using, refueling, adding hyd fluid every now and then, checking oil levels and MSP codes etc.. and installing armament. Many things to do there before it's ready to go.. Edit: And the game should continue like Counterstrike. After the plane leaves, you are just the guy with the assault rifle and try to survive until the next sortie comes to turn. CS DCS!
  14. I was able to regenerate this. And also noticed that I was unable to start the engines after using FIRE SWs to shut them down, throttles did not go off by pressing rshift/ralt+end. No help of slavic ducking a.k.a. total resetting of the system.
  15. They are linked in some way, don't remember it exactly, so I'm not going to quess anything here, but it is not related to AC power or generators coming on/offline.
  16. Communicating with the ground crew is done by hand signals and/or by connecting headphones to intercommunication system outside the A/C. Hand signals are always used. If needed the external power can be used to communicate by radios or ground line connected to A/C.
  17. Did not pay attention on that, but hyd pressure gauge showed 0psi for both systems. At least at that point they should come up again as airflow is pushing them. It could be though that the hyd pressure gauge needs ac power. Another thing I noticed the IFEI does not show fuel amount when batt sw is set on (not oride), it should.
  18. Agree 196% minimum! I almost punched my display when tried to refuel because that damn hose was retracted so many times. With KC-130 I could not even get close enough for them to release it. Maybe I should try in higher altitude because at 5000ft the tanker hops and bounces like a rabies infected bunny.
  19. Yeah, I can't recall the explanation to the parking brake-bus tie connection, a little bit weird it is though.
  20. I'm not a pilot, but I think ATC is not interested in what happens outside the runway and taxiways.
  21. I checked the principles and I was a little bit inaccurate. In startup the parking brake must be on to trigger the bus tie contactors to connect both AC buses, and every system can be powered when first engine is started. When the second gen comes online, both generators feed their own bus through power contactors R&L, bus tie contactors (R/L) are still closed so both gens can provide power to both buses if one gen is put offline for some reason. So if you shut down for example left engine or use L gen switch there should be no lack of power to the AC bus L, therefore none ofthe DDIs or MPCD should go off. But if you have pbrake off and cycle both gens at same time (power off), the bus tie logic is resetted and generators feed their own bus only when online again. The OPs case could happen if starting the engines without parking brake on.
  22. HSI
  23. If I remember right the startup procedure, the ac buses 1&2 are connected via bus tie relay (so both DDIs work with only R/L engine on). And if which ever gen goes off the GEN TIE relay can connect the buses, because bus tie is disconnected if there is some major fault behind bus 1 or 2. GEN1 (left) for LDDI, MPCD GEN2 ® RDDI, that sounds logical, not 100% sure
  24. Clearly I'm a bad in AAR and have bad fuel economy, because here is one more bug of what happens after running out of fuel. Noticed that when both engines were shut down (when on air) the TEFs managed their way to FULL position. That should be impossible because there is no hyd pressure anymore.
  25. The DDIs etc rebooting after L engine starts is not normal in real ones. You should be able to feed for example the AC bus 1 (left gen out) by using GEN TIE switch. Then you should have power for turned off DDI and/or MPCD.
