I have tried this method and have done very well, I was wondering how well this "new flight plan" method would work if the targets are not aligned with each other in a straight line.

Hey folks just wondering if anyone has attempted either of the two campaigns available. I have not tried them my self as I have mostly been designing dummy missions to simulate different scenarios, which aid in practicing different weapon systems and procedures. Once I feel I am up to snuff on my skill I will probably try the campaign. So just wondering what peoples thoughts were on the campaigns and if they are any fun. Are they dynamic or just a bunch of missions?

Congrats bud. I made a post like this last week talking about my first successful attack run using both guided and unguided bombs. Sense then I have been able to use waypointed JDAM drops, meaning I am able to get off 4 or 5 JDAMS on separate targets in one pass :) That is your next goal.

Real quick and this may be off topic but could someone suggest a good virus scanner for a 64bit system (if that even matter). Feel free to suggest ones you need to pay for as I am not afraid to pay for one.

I have made the jump to Windows 7 64bit :) Haven't had any time to test the game yet though as I am still doing some windows updates, driver updates, etc. For some reason my system reads 4GB RAM (3.75 usable) why is this?

Yes my hardware is 64bit compatible. Though its a bit dated its still 64bit compatible. The game ran just great on medium/high settings on XP 32bit. Here are my specs. AMD Phenom Quad-Core 2.4GHz 4GB DDR2 RAM Nvidia 9800GTX+ Again like I said yes its rather dated hardware but it ran this sim (and blackshark) just fine on medium to high settings. So switching from a 32bit OS to an 64bit OS might improve it even further? EDIT: Mower, I see you have an 9800GTx+ as well, so you know what im talkin about. Still a pretty beasty card, plays all the latest titles without a hitch.

I also might add that the only reason I have waited this long to switch to Windows 7 is because of all of the horror stories I heard about Windows Vista (the two look very similiar to me).

I was thinking about finally upgrading to Windows 7 as my faithful windows XP is being discontinued and losing its updates and support in the next month. Is there any performance gain with Windows 7? performance loss? About the only thing I can see switching from windows xp 32bit to windows 7 64 bit is that I will actually get to use all 4gb of my ram instead of the 3gb or whatever XP allows ya.

Oh an active TS flying DCS A10 sounds like a good time. I have just gotten up to par with marking and dropping 4 JDAMS on one pass and think I could be an asset in multiplayer :)

Well I got the mouse zoom back, but have a different issue. I assigned some stuff to one of my POV Hats in my X52 profile editor by making it a 4 button deal (left, right, up, down). That made me lose the ability to look around in the cockpit. So how can I change that POV Hat back to its original state, before I made it into a 4 button thing. EDIT: Think I will just start a new profile as I have borked this one :)

When I press 7 and 8 on the keyboard it works, so must be something wrong with my HOTAS settings/profile that I will need to fix, thanks.

Hmm I have set up 7 and 8 to start and stop my flares but nothing happends when I fire them out. (yes the CMS systems are on)

So I was messing with my X52 profile and suddenly I have lost the ability to zoom with my mouse wheel like before. This is pretty crucial to me right now as I had to order a new TrackIR. Could someone please advice on how to get the mouse wheel to zoom again?

I have set up my chaff and flare programs and everything but cannot figure out the keyboard command to bind to my HOTAS in order to release said countermeasures program. I have done a forum search as well as read up on the countermeasures documentations in the manual but still couldn't find it.
