Is it possible to be able to import the generated cartridge into combatFlite so that way we could get a plotted flight plan map? Not sure what has to happen but that seems like the easiest since most of the functionality is there

Sometimes the plane want to roll left very strongly

did you just drop a weapon -
[FIXED] AJS 37 Viggen afterburner issue.
metzgerov replied to jojyrocks's topic in Bugs and Problems
Why in Thors name are you guys flying so high in the Viggen in the 1st place!!!! -
Do you mean with CobatFlite?
-
Yeah read the manual. (like most of the Viggen weapons) you have to fly the exact profile the weapon wants in-order to get the right performance. Slant range, speed, altitude all have to be rigidly followed to get accurate max range out of them.

Ok great. Looking forward to upcoming updates Like I said this (in its current state) has revitalized the Viggen and made flying in multiplayer so much more fun so thank you for this. I will donate but you should have charged for this :) [Hopefully ED will hire or buy your product] Thanks Viper39 for your responses and nicely designed and aesthetically pleasing program. You deserve lots of praise!

Is it possible to create an Axis increment in the commands menu for the 3 dial selectors? [Nav,Mode,Weapons]

Anyone else feel that it pitches up too much?
metzgerov replied to Fred00's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
The pitch has variable gearing so at low speeds altitudes is is more exaggerated. It makes taking off very easy as you hardly have to pull back. If your HamFisted it would make life hard for you. I don't adjust my stick and its fine using a light touch on take off. At speed etc the pitch seems fine. On takeoff I would suggest a more gradual rotation. Its working as designed though! -
More likely is you selected Group mode and there isn't really a "group" for the missiles to track. But yes anything you "plot" is subject to drift.
-
Sounds more complicated than it is. Once you do this a few times it becomes second nature. Learn the procedures for radar fix (move the point on the map) and visual (hit the reference when over the point) and thats all you need to know. They are very simple to do. Main thing is like QuiGon said in mission planning to set the IP WP over something you can recognize from the air and radar display. (Islands, river forks, small towns, mountain tops etc. Just keep low and overfly hills and mountains whenever possible and you won't get much drift to begin with!

How to attack AA defended targets (Blue Flag)?
metzgerov replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I use RB-75's. Pop-up and shoot at max range (2 targets at most), turn and burn and get low then come around for a 2nd or 3rd pass. I did bomb an airbase though in CCIP but that was nuts and maybe lots of luck (and stress) :) -
This is amazing! Thank you for your work. I will try this out. Does it work in multiplayer? Will the mission planning work in MP as well ?
-
It sinks merchants just fine but needs a couple to take out small warships. Large ships it only damages. RB-15 better for ...well everything.

** AJS-37 Viggen Update! New Afterburners & Features! **
metzgerov replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
great work all!! Excited to defoliate more pine trees! -
Did you have the correct QFE entered? For me (besides speed and being low enough) this is the only reason I don't get the correct HUD symbology.
-
Depends on what you are doing. I rarely put the wp as Takt 9. I just leave a wp's even if target.
-
Oddly without any foreign languages I can operate fine in the Russian, Mirage and Viggen cockpit. I personally relate the word with something similar in English. Its pretty easy to remember then even the Cyrillic ones. Must be they way our brains work differently because this has never been an issue for me.
-
What he said^ No issues unless using group targeting.

I might be doing the wrong procedure here but what worked before isn't working now :) Before it was possible on takeoff to hit the "Gear" lever before liftoff and once airborne the gear would retract. Since the last update now the gear retract while im rolling down the runway :pilotfly: Not sure if this is a bug or not but sounds related to the thrust-reverser issues I'm having on landing now too. Could be a wheel weight issue or something?
