Excellent taste! Any of this will do! Although I am great fan of the Su-15 and MiG-25, I think the best addition would be Il-28 just by the amount of scenarios it can be used and covered.

RAZBAM already did A-7... but for FSX while ago... that is why they have all the assets in place to do one for DCS... but they need to clear up the Que first

Mission designer option for Navigation map to HDD of MiG-29
FoxAlfa replied to discwalker's topic in DCS Core Wish List
The thing is, removing the number is valid since the real one doesn't have it, but that also implies that the nav panel must be implemented (already similar in FC Su-25A, also the animation is already there in the model) to provide the correct indication. Leaving this halfway only leaves people hanging without proper indication. -
Discussing the R-27 family is now not very useful till we get Februaries FM update on them.

R-27 update woohoo!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::D:D:D:D

Thank you for the information. Will other Air to Air missiles also be included in this update? Per example R-27 modeling is starting to show its age and it is hurting the 'red' side a lot... https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3887106&postcount=263

I suspect that one of the main challenges for making the Full Fidelity Eagle and Fulcrum are actually making both Full Fidelity and FC3 version co-habit in the DCS ecosystem, and hopefully with MAC those issues will be resolved and ground work put in place they will be announced.

[REPORTED]Impossible to see through the SU 25T HUD
FoxAlfa replied to lwalter's topic in Su-25 for DCS World
Can we have also reflection reduced on the Fulcrums too? -
Sorry for intruding on the Russian forum again. I think with the new FM and if this bug gets fixed (R-27 going stupid and abruptly changing direction on the slightest loss of illumination) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=253434 I think the effectiveness of the DCS increase a lot and get close to the RL. It already has range very close to charts against non-maneuvering target, its just when its starts maneuvering it gets odd. And the bug causing it to abruptly and unrecoverable go for chaff on the slightest loss of illumination makes it look like its 'eating' too much chaff. Again thank you for adding it to the plan, and I am really looking forward to it!

When can we expect to see a Data link rework

I would prefer not to spam Russian language forum in English and I am also vert happy that R-27 FM will get updated eventually Now to the point... Eagle pilot talking about his Aim-120 missing.... Equipment not working is well know issue, it was a scandal after Milosevic fell.... since planes hadn't have even their radars working but still take off to defend the country... glory to those pilot taking off in those circumcises. Cheers from Belgrade.

The main problem in DCS is that AA missiles are all under different standard and some effects apply to some but not to others... there isn't a standard set of rules and then it all feels a lot random. As for the R-27, it was developed by the same guys at the same time as R-73, think about it.

About the profitability, keep in mind that an effort to do a Fulcrum A or C would be much much smaller the Hornet or Viper, since it doesn't have an unlimited number of MFD pages etc.... Flight model, and 3d models are there, radio will be implemented with VoIP... so just FF radar/HUD/Nav system is needed....
-
I am hoping that doing the Fulcrum for ED would make a lot of sense with latest releases and the foundation code provided by the Hornet and Viper. Also they have the flight model dialed in, the 3D model and cockpit are there and animated, RWR, sounds... they only need to add radar system in FF and nav system, and updated the missiles(which they should do regardless). Nav system is basic with 3 predetermine bases and 3 nav points. It has a single radio with presets that will probably already be added under the VoIP system. Agreement with Deka (J11) or M3 (due to MiG-21 -> MAC) to add those systems would also be smart... even if it doesn't sell as much as Viper or Hornet would... the effort that would be needed is also much much smaller.

Actually, a lot of FC3 Flankers and Fulcrum even now hold their own in MP environments, imagine if they had full working DL(flanker) automatic guidance (fulcrum), update missiles, CM programs etc... so even older stuff although not perfect is more then usable... Regarding more precision AG stuff, and Sukhoi fast attacker or the new MiG-27 would come in good there!

Let's remove the two things that are false: 1: Documentation not available, is complete false. There is not only flight, weapon and maintenance manuals available on the net, but also a lot of other documentation, wiring diagrams, engine parts diagrams, frequencies diagrams for the radar and etc, I will not post them due to the forum policy but if you know how to search you could almost build a RL Fulcrum with them and not an simulation approximation. 2: Russian government doesn't allow RedFor aircraft in DCS is also false . This has been beaten to death. As per words of Matt Wagner himself, 3rd parties are well allowed to do a 4th Gen Red For if they choose. Full Fidelity Fulcrum please!!! Lot of us still kindly remember the NovaLogics Falcon Vs Fulcrum in 1998, we need it now redo by the true experts of ED in 2020!

Full support for any 4 gen Full Fidelity RedFor aircraft!

SPO-10, Woohoo!!! Thank you for the update, looking good!
