  1. What is that mystery fairing under cockpit ? ECM? Laser spotter? Photo recce? I just noticed it on F1EE when using it in South Atlantic.
  2. The OP does not have luxury of full multi-month training conversion regimen. OP has 10 days to cram.
  3. "You can rid of all those lights by pressing the servo reset button by the parking brake." Yikes! I can't see it. AT ALL! It does not show up as clickable place when gliding pointer over the area. The area is so dark and chock full of dark orange red lines and black and handles obscuring. I dont want to waste a control mapping on something that is onky pressed once during a mission at start. AERGES need to resolve some of this pit clutter.
  4. I think , I have the cold start + INU, process , somewhat handled. But not completely. When errors do occur, I am stumped, and generally , respawn. But two items have paused me. RTFM fails to address the WHY? So after start up I still get frozen ADI, despite GyroMagnetic being ON and INU aligned (via ALR). Second item is a row of fail lights LACE T, T ANG, ROUL, EMP, DIR Posted is pit switchology. Hope 2560 X 1440 is sufficient.

  6. So the secret to using COMBAT FLAPS is? I am finding combat flap kind of weird. Once I activate it via LEVER or button, it inteferes with normal flap operation. Specifically , flaps won't retract. Cycling combat flaps does not appear to solve the issue I tried turning combat flaps ON with lever and turning OFF with button, but combat flap light remains ON and normal flap operation remains inhibited. Thank you
  7. This is one is confusing me. I hold down start untill RPM reaches 300, then bring throttle to IDLE. Then release START. Then engine start up dies and FIRE light goes ON. THats it for the session. The engine is gone. I dont quite get what I am doing wrong.
  8. This module needs Rhodezia, Angola, and Namibia theaters as wll as MIG-23MF OPFOR. African Velt terrain. Which is flat and roling scrubland, serengetti with table mountains. In African bushwars, S.African AF really kicked Cuban and Angolan MIG-23MF and MIG-21 variants .
  9. F1M is the PMC and DACT OPFOR Contractor version used by DRAKEN Int. and few other defense corps for DACT. We have F1EE E part is Espana, a variant for Spanish AF.
  10. Spanish AF flew F1EE until 2006. Even deploying a detachment for Baltic Air Policing mission to fend off Russian Migs+Suckhs. Kind of hard to beleive that Espana Aera Fuerza would not modernize the airframe and avionics to include CCIP and CCRP for AG delivery and modern sights for AA weapons.

  12. On F1EE is that called RETARD OVERRUN or IM/S/PPS switch. Aside from that I dont see any adjustement wheel on right side of HUD. Is there a picture? What is it called in Adjust Controls?
  13. AG guns pipper makes no sense. Shells go nowehere near where AG guns pipper is on top of HUD. AA guns pipper is much more usefull for AG guns strafe. In AG Guns mode, the shells impact halfway between bottom of AG Guns pipper and 1 Pitch index bat on HUD.
  14. OK so its AIM-9L all aspect IR. Like one that was used by RNFAA in Falklands. A small step below AIM-9M, but still all aspect with low smoke motor. In F-5E AIM-9L/P have a seeker reticle. Where is such reticle in F1 ? When AA modes are entered into.
  15. What exactly is AIM-9JULI ? Its not described in Wikipedia AIM-9 article. There is AIM-9J, AIM-9P. Is JULI some kind of all aspect retofit to make European AIM-9J as capable as AIM-9P4/5?
  16. How to get AIM-9J/P/R550 missile reticle on HUD? When enabling either AIM-9 or R550 wingtip station or C-M dogfight modes. I hear AIM-9J/P growl. I dont ge tthe R550 growl. What is APP reticle sight mode?
  17. JMHO but default F1 pilot looks like actor Aron Eckhart got crossed with Neaderthall DNA. (its the chin) with some Ahnold thrown in. I would like to see a Rick Moranis mod for pilot for every mod.
  18. Here is track where rockets dont fire, but guns do. Tied with Guns IN, guns out Tigger Unfolded/Folded. Various permutations. No joy. Switchology is a bit confusing and there is lack of cockpit feedback. F1_Rockets_fail_2fire.trk
  19. Thank you. But there is nothing to post. Rockets wont fire. Hopefully I'll get it. Its the same with every new mod. There is usually some frustrating, confusing implmentation that has to be learned. Only to be easily forgotten later on. So to fire rockets what is the exact swithology. Also with gun safety and unfolded trigger. I can't tell the difference. THere is no positive click in cockpit, no animated flap. Or it out of view. No warning light or anything like that. Maybe there is I just dont notice it yet.
  20. OK, I am not getting something here. To fire rockets. Master Arm : ON Activate AG Guns/Rockets mode: ON Gun Safety OUT Trigger UNFOLDED Inner pylon rockets are not firing. "remove Gun Firing Safety." What does that mean? Does that mean GUN SAFETY OUT or IN? Language and terminology is issue here.
  21. What is it called? I dont see it. Neither do I see Brake Parachute or similar in Adjust Controls. Thank you.
