Hey, I will soon make the mod available after some testing/ use on components. I would say about 2 weeks or so.
-
So far so good...need to adjust the curves a little, but working very well.
-
Here is a new TM stick extension mod with extra spring force to counter the the grip weight. It is made from 3d printed parts along with an aluminum shaft and hardware. It gives the warthog a realistic force/feeling compared to the standard setup.

Ya, Shipping to Australia would be around $240... I'm thinking how I can sell the plans, but still researching how to keep it semi safe.
-
Possible, but the seat would have to be cnc'd for it to build correctly.
-
Pledged as well... hope it works out !

Here is a quick look at the Mk-16 F-35 seat.... pretty early, will be available soon. Also in the early stage of the Naces F-18 and the Russian K-36. I'm aiming for a price of $299 for all the upcoming seats.
-
I can ship all over and have many times via DHL... Now on price, the A-10 seat is really strong, but If I can use more .25 material instead of the expensive birch, then the price can be reduced. I could aim for $275 per seat which would work nice for most people.
-
The Arming lever will be included in wood, I still need to cut one out. I'm also thinking about making a Huey seat, with collective mount. Not sure how many would be interested. Other Seats in the works: F-35, F-16, F-18, Russian K36 or similar... let me know if any of you would like to see a different seat.
-
Yes, I can offer replica seat cushions... Cost is $129 per set in black.
-
There is a team of us, so if JR jumps in he has the answers as well... -I have shipped to EUR many times via DHL, usually around $150 for shipping to GER. -The seat above is the A-10 version, and is $399 as shown. I will have other seats later. - We will use paypal...

I will offer PDF files so you can print 1:1 to build your own seat. Right now plans for the Aces A-10 seat, stick mounts, and floor will be $65 dollars. I'm trying to keep the price fair and help motivate myself to create other seats and setups for you guys. Files to CNC your own seat will be included. If you have questions, please PM or email : Flim@VRpit.com Payment will be made also to the above email via Paypal- After payment, plans will be emailed the same day with the required pass-codes to access the PDF's. Aces II seat cushions will be available for $129 and are a nice addition for your aces II seat. The TM stick Mod will be available as well, but we are looking into a place where the printed parts can be ordered online and Vrpit will provide the plans/BOM to assemble your own. Plans coming soon: F-35 seat, F-18 seat, K-36(Russian) seat, Huey seat and collective, front console, A-10 cockpit structure, F-16 seat and structure, lastly plans to build your own 5 projector Cube. This mod offers a nice feel and some spring to counter the grip weight. The movement or throw of the stick can be adjusted by screwing the bottom mount up or down. Need help flying the Huey?... this mod makes a big difference! The extension mod includes the required 3D printed parts and a pdf outlining the other materials you need to finish the mod. All we supply is the 3d printed parts and Build of material (PDF). You will need to order the bolts/springs/alum tube to finish. I've been busy today working on lens holders for the 2 inch 5x lenses. The result is pretty good in my opinion, and I would rather use the 2 inchers instead of the A cups. The 2 inch lenses help FOV and eye relief... Also, the screen image seems much improved ( my eyesight, about 20/30 ) Fixed the nose issue with a little foam... very nice!
-
IT's hard to tell unless we can directly test it in DCS... Now, I'm playing around with 2 inch 5x lenses and it seems that the image is much better. I'm 3d printing different holders to get it just right.
-
I'm not really seeing much 3d, but I need to get the vid better lined up in the rift.
-
Good video!

Ya, 16 million in funding will benefit all of us when it comes to the consumer version. It looks we will have high res screens and positional tracking... everything form there will be a bonus. This is the best chance for ED to have some free marketing and take advantage of a gaming transition. The early adopters will benefit and with such a niche market, it should be an easy decision.
-
War thunder is supporting it so far... Btw, it does look like Sony PS4 will support it in the future... crazy stuff
-
Yep, your wrong!
-
1080p rift is here... this will be very usable with DCS! I hope ED is paying attention....
-
Sounds good,
-
Npole, I agree and you have a strong argument! I keep hearing how ED wants to grow and build new customers with the water-down versions of DCS models (War thunder types), but all they have to do is integrate the rift...
-
Ya, we should have some drivers shortly! I have to say that Flying with the rift is more enjoyable than a monitor, even with the low resolution. Once useable drivers are released, I would like to get a MP flight together with all the rifters.

So, who all here has a rift?
