Any new rifters out there? I have been playing around with Lunar flight if any of you all need some good recommendations... I think we are getting close to modding the current rift with 1080p screens... hopefully in the next month or so.

I'm talking about simply what we should see in the sim, not real life aerodynamics...Don't want to get into a debate about how airliners create lift... I play that game in my real career.

Well, I understand it based of pressure/lift/drag/aoa... But most realize when you pull g's .... You see vapor, feel buffet, and lose speed!

Ya, vapor effect based on aircraft g's... would be nice to have and also would help the sim pilot know how hard he is pulling since we cannot feel the turns. Also g buffet with sound... meaning when you pull g's quickly the aircraft will buffet and shake during high G maneuvers. Also you hear the rush of air as it compresses against the aircraft. The above would greatly improve the flying experience !

I doubt it... they make a product for 10 years ... flightsim crowd is not large enough. They do however release more racing products.

Pretty simple seat compared to the Aces, but came out nice. Couple more pics... I had to adjust the side guard, was hitting my elbow!

Well, I can do plans.... but I heard from UK guys that I still charge less than CNC operators in EUR... Even with Shipping. The seat is $259 and shipping is about $200 to Sweden... It will cost you more to have one cut there locally... unless you have a hook up.

Ya, it's called PVC pipe! A little brew sounds pretty good! Maybe I should install those beer helmet holders instead...

Here a few pics of the seat... All good except the right body guard, seems to be in the way of the elbow. So , I will need to adjust that.

Alright.. little progress on the seat..

All surface enamel ( Sherman Williams) -- light gray with a little blue... Not perfect, but goes on thick--- and looks realistic because the real seats are all beat up anyhow!

Threw some paint on mine yesterday... Not bad for roll-on-brush ! If you get the good stuff, it works pretty well. Also, as you notice no monitor except on the side... The rift does save tons of room for setups like this!

I'm not sure why the keyboard talk is still going on.... You can see it ......... If it is on your lap , or lap height. I was just using it 5 min ago flying the Mig 29 in Outtera. Btw, best rift experience so far!

Iracing is getting some great reviews... Those guys are going crazy about the dev kit, I guess Iracing did a good job so far integrating the rift. Dcs has so much potential, I can't stand it ! lol I probably won't fly dcs much until the rift is working, because once you experince it... there is no turning back. I can get my fix in outtera to an extent, but not quite the same. Keep on the pressure boys!

Heads up on the ps2 cables I've sent out.... I pulled the wrong pin on a few, so let me know if you have issues!

Hey Npole, try Outtera and the Mig, mucho cool! Having problem in Outtera with the Warthog throttle though, acts all wacky... Like I said, for it to be usable we need higher resolution and positional tracking. I like the idea of a 5.5 1080p screen, I think it will make a world of difference. Also, the immersion at this point is better than any other option including: triple screen, single large screen w/tir, 4-5- projectors etc... I guess we need to get this in the hands of some Russian ED programmers! I know you boys are watching, lol
