  2. I agree on extra wattage. My power demand check on my 1080ti new build in August said I needed 750W minimum. I went ahead and put in a 1000W in case I add any additional components in the future.
  3. Did you check your power demand? https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator
  4. The pedal width mod kit can be used to make the width wider or narrower. I've used it to make mine narrow. Currently, outside to outside dimension is 18.5" or 47cm.
  5. Huey Playground has Armed Forces Viet Nam radio assigned to an FM frequency.
  6. Did you change or add any keywords? I did not, but when I checked the last command changed (CTL + LMB on the pencil icon) it showed where I assigned PTT to TX4. So, I hit FINISH on the Keyword Editor, then pulled up the one change I made (using the last command changed above) and hit OKAY and that message went away. Don't know why it would close by itself. Maybe it needs that final step. I just realized I'm on 1.7.2 so my comments are probably not valid. I see where Hollywood is working with Voice Attack. Seems to be the update to Voice Attack 1.7.3 is the problem.
  7. I inadvertently got two. One is still in the box and unopened. I'm selling it for my cost getting it here to the US. $410 USD. I'll cover shipping and insurance. Continental US only. (Locals: I'm in Arizona). EDIT: Still have one for sale.
  8. How do I contact the Forum Administrator or Moderator? Rules say I have to have approval to post a Virpil throttle I have for sale. Can't find a Contact button to email them.
  9. I got around the issue of the physical 2-way toggle being in the wrong position on start by assigning one of the five LED's at the front of the Warthog base to the "down" position of the switch (down being towards the back of the Warthog throttle base). So, prior to loading a mission I check that I have five (toggles) down and five green (LED's). That's for a ground start. You would have to remember to change the physical setting to the opposite position prior to loading an air start mission (landing gear). Also, I use this as part of my downwind pre-landing checklist as well as my pre-mission start, and pre-take off. Five Down and Green.
  10. Apparently the civilian versions (205A-1) have it, or could have it as an option (Rotor Brake Hydraulic System): http://www.huey.co.uk/huey_servicebook.php Not clear of the military -1H had it: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=105517&page=16 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1748415&postcount=22 Since the DCS Huey is modeled after the Australian Bushranger, I wonder if the Australians received the UH-1H or the 205A-1, and which is used in this sim. Anyway, I noticed the same longer rotor wind milling time with the battery turned off and started looking for an answer but didn't find it. I think this auto rotor brake is implemented in the sim, realistic or not.
  11. Rotor brake probably doesn't function with the battery off. It's hydraulic so it must have power to run the pump. So, the rotor would keep spinning longer until it slows naturally.
  12. Drops right into JSGME MOD folder. Uses the same file structure.
  13. VKB curved extension, which fits their base and not Warthog's. Intermediate height. Not tall enough for a floor mount Rainman's floor length, curved extension for the Warthog. Pricey. If you want to build one, I've been looking at some interesting ideas: Bend steel electrical conduit with a conduit bender. You can rent the bender and steel conduit is not expensive. Bend plastic electrical conduit with a Pipe Viper. It's a heavy spring that goes in the plastic conduit and allows you to bend it without kinking or cracking. Plastic conduit and the Viper are not expensive. Curved electrical conduit from a home improvement store. I found two 45 and one 90 degree bends gives you a curved joystick which only needs a little cut off the end. There's also a 30 degree forward leaning Warthog joystick adapter on Shapeways. All are inexpensive and just require glue. I tried a floor mount and settled on a 200mm extension for flying airplanes rather than a floor mount. Too much movement for full control deflection. But, I use a floor mount, curved, spring-less joystick for helicopter flying which doesn't require full deflection and needs finer control inputs.
  14. The Huey altimeter is working correctly. I think there's a bug in the weather parameters of the NTTR map or DCS World. I just checked all of the airports on the NTTR map using Quick Mission and they were all extremely low for those particular missions (I checked both summer and winter). They were well below 29.00"Hg, like near 26.00"Hg. Checking the other three maps I got settings for QFE above 31.00"Hg, but not by much. I used cloudy weather and didn't try using the other weather types to see if that had any effect on the pressure.
  15. The Mongoose T-50 THROTTLE is back in stock. Web site is slow and crashed from the amount of traffic.
  16. Just a heads up. Virpil has the T-50 base back in stock and for sale. However, they are discontinuing it so there is only a limited supply.
  17. That $4 per quarter screen is a donation request by LockOnFiles, and you would click the yellow donate button to do that. If not, you click the download button in the lower right and go ahead with the download. You don't have to donate to get the file.
