  1. I am having this issue with the latest update on the F-16, but it was fine in the previous update. Now when all the internal lights are on it is eating fps bigtime.
  2. +1 same issue.
  3. Yes. Something is up with the performance in game for F-16. Also yes the radar elevation is really touchy now.
  4. Check your DCS log and see if it's complaining about permissions.
  5. 1. You don't get specific 'air missions' in this scenario. All mission goals are ground targets. It is assumed you will deal with the air assets as part of the mission. 2. There should be 5 CAP groups, 1 GCI group, and a Red Bomber group. Usually they are all up in the air after about 10-15 minutes or so. 3. If none of the above groups are spawning after having waited for 15 minutes, check the GameMode flag in the editor didn't get changed to something other than 0 or 1.
  6. No worries, let me know how you go. I'll test TOO mode a little bit later as well. Edit: Works fine for me in TOO mode as well. Maybe try doing a repair and give it another go.
  7. Just tested GBU-31 from Hornet in PP mode and wiped out the Qeshm Island drone control tower ... looks good on this end. If you took out the deathwatch.lua script and it is still crashing it isn't the mission causing it. Must be something else. Edit: Might be related to this possibly .. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=254535 ... only guessing though. Maybe try launching in PP mode and see what happens.
  8. Which plane are you dropping them from and I'll go test it out, haven't used a GBU-31 for a while, last time out I used GBU-12's no problem though.
  9. Very soon you will have radio support call-in's for MQ-9 Reaper aerial drones which will act as JTAC's. That will provide entirely new ways of doing things and open up more loadout options. I've been able to utilize laser guided mavericks which I haven't really used since they came out on the hornet last year! It sounds to me like you and your wingman have learnt a lot and improved your tactics as a result of taking this mission on which is absolutely awesome :) You guys might be the first to report back that you've completed the campaign at this rate? I spend so much time testing things etc that I have not even come close to finishing any of them!
  10. If you add tags etc to the template planes then yes they will copy over when spawned, but be careful as I've seen some funny things happen to behaviours of planes with certain tags. For example, if you give pinpoint strike planes the tag of RTB on bingo fuel or RTB on no more guided bombs ... they seem to lose their minds. I wanted to experiment with putting evasive vertical manoeuvres on red fighters but haven't gotten around to it yet. Also I've been a little reluctant to make it any harder than it already is :P In other news, since the JF-17 is supposed to drop on the 4th of December ... emphasis on 'supposed to' ... I will be pushing to get my code additions finalised for the things I've been working on so I can include them in the coming update
  11. I dunno man, I've never had that many HARM's fail in a row. Certainly not a problem in the mission. No the mission time can't be changed via script unfortunately, otherwise I would have made the mission start time persistent.
  12. The HARM's didn't get a clean hit by the sound of it. I've seen that happen before on occasion. Sometimes the HARM will do enough damage to knock out the radar but not kill the unit. If the unit does not actually have a dead event, it won't get listed in the persistency file as being dead. Anyway, I haven't changed any of the weapons behaviours or anything like that.
  13. Operation Clear Field is the Caucasus mission, go grab that and you shouldn't have any problem
  14. That should be fine. For Snowfox you need the Persian Gulf map though, so if you don't own that map then it won't show up in your list. Likewise Operation Jupiter requires Normandy + WW2 Assets, and Operation Secret Squirrel requires the WW2 assets pack.
  15. In response to your first question, I have something special planned. You'll just have to wait until it's ready but it isn't exactly like what you described. Yes major SAM sites are in their real-world locations (as much as what I could research) with the exception of the Bandar Lengeh SA-11 which was put in to cover the Russian operations out of that airbase (a little creative license was required). Also like I have said before, the SA-10 at Bandar Abbas will be changed for the real-world SA-5 system as soon as the SA-5 comes out, so when re-placing that one it is likely the coordinates will change slightly.
  16. Moving ground forces is not really an option with this many active units on the map (at least on my machine anyway). Introducing blue coalition ground forces and having both blue and red ground moving against each other will cripple performance. The intent of the mission originally was to flesh out as much of Southern Iran's defences as accurately as I could find out and have everything active from the start so that the map does not feel empty. There are so many things that 'could' be done, if performance was not a factor in mission design, but it is.
  17. Oh I see, the dial still can turn to the mode but it isn't labelled anymore. Is that intentional? It used to have Cont mode labelled on the dial didn't it?
  18. That's the problem. I don't have Cont mode anymore. Only "Off" and "Sect". Looks like a repair is in order.
  19. I am probably doing something wrong but I can't seem to IFF Interrogate targets. How does the IFF work now?
  20. Just a little bit of news to share. A number of you have asked for more things for helo's to do. I have been thinking about what exactly to build for this for a while as I did not want to make something that didn't have any real meaningful impact to the missions, and I think I have finally worked out exactly what and how it is going to work and what it is going to involve. I now have a working basic prototype for the main code routines, still got a ways to go before I can implement it fully but it's coming along nicely.
  21. Yeah no worries, keep in mind that persistency was not part of the original design and was only added to the project relatively recently. Being able to work with persistent data has opened a lot of possibilities up, but everything takes time to build and test. Haven't had enough time lately to do anything significant haha. Anyway, glad you are enjoying it
  22. Answers to your questions. There are a total of 120 targets/target groups in the mission. Once every mission is completed it will announce the campaign is over and reset progress back to zero so the next time the mission is loaded it will start from the beginning again. Airfield capture was never an intended feature of this scenario. I do not own the Combined Arms module (yet), so won't be doing anything with this at this stage. If the Jagdpanther becomes driveable in Combined Arms ... then expect things to happen. I plan to do more with helo's later down the line, as I've said before more likely when the Syria map comes out as I believe that map will make far more sense for helo operations using FARPs etc etc. I want to build something that will give the helo's meaningful tasks, without it costing too much in terms of performance. I have updated the main download pages for my newer missions (Jupiter and Secret Squirrel) to have the persistency instructions on them and will be doing the same when I update Snowfox and Clear Field ... still awaiting the release of the JF-17 before updating at this point. I never restricted the selection of liveries in the missions and I change liveries around all the time when I play around with it, I suspect you are running into a server side setting there. At this point there isn't really a way to make hot or cold starts selectable based on a flag value or some similar thing, otherwise I would have hit that one already due to several people requesting cold starts. Anyway, again ... the next update will not be until the JF-17 is out, and then it will basically be the Huey slots and JF-17 slots added in, plus a few minor code tweaks only. Once that is done, writing a Helo 'module' will be next on my list of things to do.
  23. Can't go taking things from movies, games etc due to potential copyright issues.
  24. Haha yes I suppose so, but again, finding usable material for the Korean War isn't as easy as I'd thought it might be. Seems to be they recorded plenty of gun camera but almost no radio *shrug* at least not that I have found thus far anyway.
  25. v102 is up Changelog v102 - Sounds added for aerial kills, mission succeses, mission start etc. A few of the aerial kill sounds are WW2 sounds as Korean War aerial radio sounds are rather hard to find, but there are a couple in there. Also since I can't find anything usable for North Korea, red coalition will use the allied sounds.
