  1. v108 is up Changelog v108: - Critical fix in mission target status script - Naming conventions updated - Some of the Axis AI CAP flights now depart from Argentan instead of Evreux which will no doubt mix things up a bit
  2. v105 up Changelog v105 - Critical fix in the mission target status script - Naming conventions updated to a new format
  3. Ok thanks yeah I've been able to replicate this now. Will work on a fix. Edit: Fixed internally will get updates to all missions out as soon as I can. Thanks again.
  4. You should be getting a "Mission Successful" message with a sound playing once a given group or target building is destroyed. It should then after a few seconds give you a new mission. If you are not getting that please post as much detail as you can in the Snowfox thread so I can take a look at it.
  5. I highly suggest you go through all the radio options. Target report will give you the coordinates of the first unit in a group in 3 flavours of coords, one of which is precise.
  6. Snowfox and Clear Field the map view is allies only to simulate a real environment, whereas Black Spire is supposed to be sort of like a training environment like red flag ... kind of. Jupiter and Secret Squirrel have the units visible on the map simply because you don't have radars in the older planes so I left that there for people to be able to find targets. Snowfox, Clear Field and Black Spire are all supposed to be hard. That was the intention.
  7. Whilst testing something else I found there might be an issue with the road outpost mission in Bandar Abbas (near the underground missile storage). I might have to swap it over to the unit version of a road outpost instead of a static ... still investigating. Anybody ever had that mission and had a problem? Anyway, Tarawa is up and running and has it's own 30km radius missile defence zone thing going on. Also the JF-17's various missiles have been added into the code for weapon firing sounds so using the LD-10 will trigger 'magnum' and C-701's will trigger 'rifle' etc etc. Weapon firing code has been injected into Black Spire and Clear Field. Naming conventions for Snowfox and Clear Field have also been updated for the next version. Got some other things I want to check over before I commit all changes. Not very often that I actually get to just fly in my mission but today had good fun testing the JF-17 to check the weapon firing sounds and had a blast with it taking on targets around Seerik (Tank and Artillery busting), Bandar Abbas (the above road outpost mission) and taking out the transport helo at Minab. Lost 1 JF-17 due to not paying attention to sneaky MiG's. Got payback later by manoeuvre killing a MiG-21 into the drink. Edit: Also for the Mariana's ... I'm thinking Operation Sea Slug .... change my mind?
  8. Yes that is correct. Damage to airfields is not persistent. The thought that you guys intentionally want to risk breaking the air dispatcher is pretty much hurting my brain :megalol:
  9. Nellis Vipers/Tomcats/Hornets are the same kind of thing as what Snowfox has for Base/Fleet defence planes. They will stay over Nellis and engage anything that gets close to it. Request Support -> Fighter Screen via radio will send a pair of fighters to the sector you want them to go to.
  10. Bombing the airfields generally breaks the air dispatcher, causing the enemy planes not to take off, or not attack anything. It's a limitation of the AI.
  11. When you finish all the missions it will reset progress back to 0 for you automatically.
  12. Wow that's awesome, would never have known about this. ED please make this happen!
  13. Question for those of you that fly Harrier's ... what would be the preferred air to ground loadout when launching from the Tarawa? Edit: Nevermind. Tarawa will be in the next Snowfox update along with 2x Harrier's launching from it. To get around some limitations/bugs with the Tarawa that people have mentioned, the 2 Harrier's will have to be runway starts from position 3 and 4. This will mean if there are 2 Harrier pilots planning on launching from the Tarawa at the same time you will need to coordinate between yourselves or potentially have a collision. Doing a rolling start from the Tarawa from runway position 3 and 4 appears to be perfectly do-able with a full load (something I learnt today in discord, thanks @mcflyjr!). Anyway, that's what is coming. I will see if I can jiggy it up so that the Tarawa has it's own missile defence zone similar to the Stennis.
  14. I had considered making something like this myself but I didn't think I would get away with it as it would sound too Australian :music_whistling:. I don't suppose you could make a couple more like this but have the dialogue like this ... 1. "Target locked, Magnum" 2. "Locked onto radar signal, Magnum" Also is it possible to reduce the fuzzy radio static sound a little to make it match more closely to the Rifle 1.ogg sound or Pickle 1.ogg sound? If that can be done it would be awesome  Meanwhile, Mariana Islands .... interesting possibilities.
  15. Since my entire country is on fire I figure I put this update out now 'just in case'. v102 is up Changelog v102: - All Nellis AFB client slots changed to parking hot starts - Planes added to Creech AFB, Creech AFB slots are all cold ramp starts - Radio option added to call for a Wild West Pistol Duel, which will spawn a gunslinger out near grid MV90. Once you shoot them down, radio again to call another one as many times as you like. The gunfight area is well far away enough that CAP flights shouldn't interfere etc. - Other minor stuff that nobody will want to know about Enjoy
  16. v107 is up Changelog v107 - B-17 bombers will now carpet bomb their target areas - Sainte Croix sur Mer and Evreux are hot start airfields - Lantheuil and Argentan are cold start airfields - Sommervieu and Goulet are cold start airfields with 2 AI wingmen (each flight can only spawn the wingman once) - Tailnumbers and callsigns slightly adjusted Note: When I tested out the B-17's it seemed fine performance wise after the map upgrades etc. Your mileage may vary. I would like some feedback on how this goes for you guys now, as the next step would be to add in some bomber interceptors if all is ok.
  17. Sorry guys I have just realised I had forgotten to add in some of the pinpoint strike routes, and also copied an incorrect tag over to the CAS flights which was making them go off wherever they felt like at the time. Therefore ... v101 is up. Changelog: - Red GCI Squadron removed - AWACS/Tanker flight path's adjusted - Incorrect tags on CAS flights removed - Missing Pinpoint Strike routes added - Su-25T's removed from AI CAS/SEAD roster until further testing can be done (A-10C's appear to be working fine). Note: I have changed my mind and will be making flights out of Nellis AFB hot starts, planes will be available from Creech AFB to practice cold starts in the next update. Time of day will be set to 5am start which apparently isn't actually night time ... anyway you get really nice dawn shadows over all the dunes / mountains etc around Nevada at that time. Naming conventions are also going to change slightly, with the airbase listed first, then the airframe (Nellis AFB - F-14B). This will make it so all the cold start planes at Creech AFB will be listed first. I will also see if I can get the guns only area up and running.
  18. Happy new year! Operation Black Spire (Nevada) is already live, check it out. When/if the Harrier gets fixed I'll consider adding the Tarawa to the East side of the peninsula. Might be a while before I get to do any work on anything, xmas period is insane for me.
  19. This is the forum for Epsom: https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=561
  20. Out of 105 mission targets about 9 are major SAM sites and maybe another 9 or so mobile SAM's. The rest are made up of tanks, artillery, buildings, infantry, supply vehicles, etc etc.
  21. Yeah I think it's caused by the GCI squadron, they seem to respawn to quick and the timer on GCI can't be adjusted. I don't think I really want GCI in this anyway so I'll probably remove them. Pretty sure I saw Su-25T's in the CAS role fly around not firing anything as well. I'll deal with that at the same time. If you notice anything else come back and let me know. I'll deal with it all after Christmas.
  22. Just another day of typical Harrier then. Nothing to see here, move along.
  23. Awesome I'm happy you like it
  24. Haha thanks! But yeah the bones of this have been in the works for ages, just finally got around to giving it a big push to being 'good enough' to release
  25. With the Normandy map being overhauled currently I will wait until they are done messing with it before I do anything else. I will also need to wait until a new Moose version is out that caters for the new airfields so I can use them. Anyway that said, I am hopeful that with the increased performance of the map, that I can re-jiggy a few things and hopefully include at least one flight of interceptors, maybe even make the bombers active by default. When the time comes I will add some cold start planes in. I will also add a few flights where the player is the leader of an AI flight so you can take a wingman or flight with you, the downside here is that those flights can only be 'one off's as they don't respawn etc but it is what it is. Moving ground unit's is one of the bigger performance chewers so I probably won't do that (I want too, but the performance would be better spent on interceptors). Also I am waiting for the u-boat model they said they were going to add. My intention is to add u-boats and various targets to Le Havre area, along with another bomber flight to attack that area. Other things I'm waiting on is of course the P-47 (drool) and the Mosquito (mega drool). So yeah, this mission is nowhere near final. Merry Christmas!
