  4. Probably. Parking spots for planes aren't specified for the spawns (with the exception of AWACS/Tankers) on this mission yet as previously stated, because the map is not finished. Don't spawn everything at the same time to avoid for now.
  5. I have updated it to hopefully address the issue. If it works this will be the last update it gets.
  6. There isn't a way of saving/loading the game in the traditional sense. You can save certain information to file and have the mission load this information at mission start and adjust things on the fly but it's not really something that the simulation was meant to do, hence why you have to make changes to a core game file before even that is possible. At least for now. Who knows what will change in the future.
  7. 1. Sounds like the Su-24's did their job pretty well if you ask me. Players love to bomb runways and things to deny red airfields, this time the shoe is on the other foot 2. MGRS ... probably not. 3. AWACS, yes I had accidently moved it too close to red patrol engagement distances. This issue is corrected already and will be in the next version. 4. Try taking the weapons off the Huey if you are going to carry containers around, or alternatively, stop melting your engine. The containers are 250kg in weight. 5. Red CAP flights do not start in the air, the only red assets that start in the air are the transport helicopters, and heavy bombers such as Tu-95's because they don't seem to play nice with most airfields. The red cap flights also will not spawn at an airfield if you are within 40nm of it. Therefore, the MiG-21 snuck up on you, so it's more stealthy than you thought

  9. I can change the axis messages over to English sure. As for your issue ... I have no idea about that one sorry, I don't get anything like what you've described in single player or on dedicated server. The only type of momentary pause I ever see if when new planes spawn into the mission, but when that happens it's milliseconds of pause when they spawn in, not a few seconds like what you have described. I had updates planned for Crystal Sea and Jupiter, however I am waiting on some ED fixes for some things before I can move forward with any of it.
  10. If I make a brand new mission and put any ship (not just WW2 stuff) in a port like what we have in our screenshots here, the boat either becomes invisible, or orients directly north. Please can we get this looked at and reported?
  11. No the status is checked every 5 minutes. It also has to perform other checks when a transport does land, but those are separate one-off checks. The main persistency function checks for the status every 5 minutes and updates the tables.
  12. Honestly I have no idea what is going on here. The script looks periodically at the current ownership of each airfield and records the status in the file. When the mission loads from this data, if the base was red it will spawn a red vehicle on it, if it was blue it will spawn a blue vehicle on it, if it's neutral it'll leave it alone. The ownership of the airfield is dependent on various things, such as if it is being contested by the opposite coalition within it's base perimeter, as well as what it was set to in the mission editor (red/blue/neutral). So some bases are red and will remain red even when red defenders are killed, until a blue ground unit is in the perimeter of the base. Other bases are neutral by default, and will return to neutral when any occupying force is destroyed. From memory the airfield perimeters are about 2km, and are not changeable. So another example, with persistence: 1. Base X is red by default and has defenders in it's perimeter 2. A series of strikes mercilessly kills all defenders of base X, lots of grieving virtual families 3. Base X is still red because it was red by default 4. Blue transport lands at base X, and deploys vehicle 5. Base X now turns to blue and is saved in the file 6. Mission reloads, and loads persistence, removes the previously dead defender units from base X. 7. Also from persistence it sees that base X should be blue, so it spawns a blue vehicle (instantly changing the by default red base X to blue because it is uncontested) It is however possible, that both red and blue land at a given base in the same session, this will cause both a red and blue vehicle to be present at the base. From memory this will make the coalition of the base equal to 3 (which I think means contested but who knows). Also from memory I'm ignoring it in persistence if it's 0 (neutral) or 3 (whatever 3 actually is). I only care about 1 (red) and 2 (blue) for what I'm doing. I hope this answers your question.   13. A couple of updates ago most of the airbase names got changed in the Persian Gulf, that will have broken the script.
  14. It's working for me building a Roland using the 1st squad engineers out of London. Any other info you can provide? Edit: Also working for me out of Paris with the 2nd squad.
  15. I will double check this later when I get time, but make sure the containers are all within 150m of the construction zone. The engineers are lazy and don't like to walk very far.
  16. Both. See screenshots, first is an invisible U-boat (note the shadow), second is an LST which should be aligned with the dock, but in mission it orients directly north.
  17. Changing that variable is highly inadvisable. If you make it shorter you will likely end up with the carrier group unable to launch planes because they will despawn before getting off the deck. There are reasons why it is set to what it is set to.
  18. Not just schnellboats, I've got some u-boats and LST's doing the same thing in the channel map.

  22. When using this on a server, only the server needs the changes to missionscripting.lua as it is the machine that will record the data. This mission is quite difficult at the moment as I believe there are some issues with flak being more accurate than it should be (Operation Jupiter is the same, even after dropping the flak down to average skill). Also I have not built everything into the map, as the map isn't finished, and does not have grid references. I'm pretty much waiting to see what other airfields or whatever gets done before I come back to this and flesh it out more. That said, if you are just planning on jamming out to get some dogfights going, you should have no issue, just fly around the narrow channel area you're bound to run into something. Hope that helps.
  23. I seem to have some frame rate issues with the NS430 if the nav page is set to terrain. If I set it to then inhibit the terrain it seems fine. Only have issues in that mode though.
  24. Neither mission spawn any ground targets, all ground targets are hand-placed. I have had some issues after this last patch with ships suddenly being under the map which I corrected yesterday. If you find any targets that are under the map or inside a building suddenly, then let me know the group names affected and I can fix it. I am not and have not updated the original Snowfox mission for many months and have no intention of doing so as the new mission (Snowfox Escalation) makes the old one completely obsolete.
  25. Yep. I saw the shadows of the boats etc as well. My issue is identical to what you have in your screenshot.
