  1. Thanks for all the workarounds but please lets not get into discussing the finer points here. It is a bug I would really love to see addressed and not dismissed because of filling the thread with discussion:)
  2. This was apparent on Sunday night with us mission net was 251 Uniform and internal was 31. FM there was definite interference when both freqs where in use at the same time. On the positive side we had 25 members joined for the Battalion mission and using FM for internals for the 5 Companies plus medevac choppers and an F5 CAS the comms where flawless. I can't even imagine trying to accomplish the same with Teamspeak. So have a few virtual bevies on the 229th bar tab because your program was the difference between 2 and a half hours of chopper bliss and an almighty SNAFU:drink::drunk: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2916753&postcount=180
  3. Thanks Belsimtek for making this possible Thats some feat man, flying on its own for a year:megalol: Did you have unlimited fuel checked;) Thanks to Belsimtek for allowing us to do this cool sh*t:clap_2:
  4. NRG Vampire posted some pics years ago after he found the argument but would never share IIRC
  5. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1696207&postcount=1 Or there is this for hueys https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1745405&postcount=1
  6. Nice to see you back mate:) I have given negative rep twice and felt guilty both times, the first was a disagreement on a point of view and as soon as I could I gave him positive rep and an apology. The 2nd time was just recently and it was for a series of condescending and rude posts, I don't feel quite as guilty about that one but it is quite out of character for me to be negative:music_whistling:
  7. There are a bunch of video's I made on the mi-8 including take off and landing. Link in sig:)
  8. Thats how I do it mate. See if its any different to your method
  9. Erm rotor brake, engine cutoff valves, Engine control levers, throttle rolled back. Lots of things to do before the battery switch is turned on :)
  10. I don't want Belsimtek to commit to anything else till the huey and hip are finished including multicrew. Then they can make whatever they want
  11. I have looked to see if this has already been posted but can find no thread relevant, when we drop troops off in the huey the troops can often run into the tail boom and just snap it off. This can be overcome to a certain extent by hovering to insert infantry but more difficult especially under fire. I should mention this is using CTLD however they are still ED infantry. Hope someone can help:)
  12. Never had that happen to me and I use the searchlight quite a bit in NTTR. Can you replicate it in SP ? your screens seem to be from a MP server
  13. Good point, I find it difficult to keep the huey tracking straight because it is too sensitive in the X axis
  14. My best and oldest gaming buddy refuses to get DCSW because of the DRM, I keep telling him he is a foolish man and the days of starforce destroying optical drives is so 2003:P Get with the program dude, if you have a PC dedicated to gaming what have you got to loose? Steam is way more invidious than anything Eagle Dynamics installs onto our machines
  15. Great stuff, thanks AlexanderT and PilotMI8 your continued work is appreciated
  16. Special rules apply to Yurgon, only allows rep once a year at christmas and only if he has been a good boy:megalol: That seems to be how it works I can never rep you back dear pal :)
  17. I use a 15cm extension on my warthog stick with the spring mod and a home made collective using an old X52 throttle unit and an aluminium walking stick My flying in the gazelle went from passable to good immediately, I barely move the stick in flight the difference is chalk and cheese from stock stick to extension:) Pics here https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2854711&postcount=45
  18. Switch on Doppler lights on right hand triangular panel
  19. I think the proof is overwhelming in the side of SSD's and I agree 100% Best thing I ever did was an SSD for O/S and SSD for DCSW 1 and 2 :)
  20. I will have a mutiny by the D Company boys, they take the gunships and like to keep the glory to themselves I do love using the F4's and snakeeyes but I have not made any missions yet to include the F5's. I have built a mission for the Battalion Operation when the Aussies and Americans join with us Europeans. I may tweak it to include this script:)
  21. Your right there. All I know about Mi-8 is self taught I bet half the community would be unable to use the ARK 9 and UD without people like Imp and Wolle to suss it out. Be interesting to see what we have been doing wrong when we finally get teh manual:music_whistling:
  22. This is great I can see it being most useful for the 229th. For example using a scout to find an enemy camp in a forest. Then having slicks land at a close lz. search and destroy mission scenarios will be very in keeping with our style Thank you :)
  23. C4IRS. Makes ground unit report en my position, and mark if needed. Also, you can put IA FLIGHTS that will attack such groups on demand via F10. Suppression fire. If enemy unit is attacked they hold fire few seconds. These look interesting ESAc do you have links? they are new to me:)
