Will drag the manual onto my HTC and fall asleep reading it Got it mate, I do have a sensitive roll axis but I assume it is correct for such a slim jet Thanks, I actually landed succesfully first try, not as dificult as the mig21 and trickier than the L39 but doesn't appear to bite. Hi all, Some of the F5 systems are similar to the A-10C is this the case ? Any advice on lessening the learning curve will be appreciated:)

Last night was the first time I got in a huey with volume control on FM radio rolled to lowest setting. Thats the physical in-cockpit rotary. Is this part of SRS?

Looks like your stick is forward and to the left. Check in Options/Misc tab and uncheck syncronise controls with Hotas at mission start. Also as I mentioned previously check no axis assignments are conflicting, rudder pedals should only have one entry in the axis asign as should collective and the cyclic 2 axis assigned only. Failing that run a repair or try to emulate the behaviour from a cold start My cents/pennys worth:)

Check assignments and make sure nothing conflicts. DCS loves to double up axis on individual controllers

Nice idea. One thing, there is a shortcut for removing labels for your screenshots. Left Alt F2 iirc There is also a way of creating a template with the setup you made but forget how to:)

Guys I wonder if you can advise. I have just reinstalled windows and finally got my USB3 card running with the correct drivers. I have a GTX970 and an i7 920 with 12Gb Ram. will I need anything else to run the rift on my machine?

I tried last night to call up ATC in the huey using the FM freq given in the F10 map. There was no response, so no broadcast and nothing for the AN/ARC-131 to pick up on. The work around is to make a mission with a ground unit at every airport you want to use with a frequency to match the F10 map and an .ogg or .wav file broadcasting:)

I believe that is done with same method. The fm frequency you find from the f10 map is for atc contact in various aircraft

I am sorry the commentary did not record. I think shadowplay must need looked at. I hope that you get the idea from the video. Most units can be made to transmit but you will have to find an .ogg or .wav file that suits your purposes. Open the attached mission with 7zip and you can get the soundfile from it to use again. FM Homing.miz

Mate thats the ATC call for FM. It is not a homing beacon I will quickly make you a mission and you can see how it is done for future missions :)
