Hello Community I would like to know if someone here has attack profiles handy for pop up attacks ? And also if someone has attack profiles for dive bombing at different angles. And also something i like to know, for CCIP .... how does it work in the hornet ? I flew a mission i made and i placed via the Mission Editor T-72 tanks on a hill top. When approaching the target area, i visually acquired the Tanks, i extended a bit, climbed and then i dived on them. When i dived on the Tank, the CCIP fall line appeared, and the horizontal bar was somewhat stuck above the pullup cue. It moves down but i get the big X before it touches the end of the bomb fall line. So i aborted. No matter how high i climb abd then execute the dive ... i never get the horizontal bar to be soon enough at the bottom of the bomb fall line. In AUTO mode, can someone clearly state if it is working or not in the current WIP F/A-18 LOT 20 ? because no matter if i put the correct target elevation and the correct altimeter setting ( which i don´t get why ? ), my bombs fall short. Also .... with a MK-82 ... do you need a direct hit to destroy a tank ? A jeep ? isn´t the blast radius supposed to inflict some kind of damage ? Trying to put dumb bombs on target with CCIP only is hard, very hard ...more than i expected. Especially coming from other simulators. The F-16 CCIP pipper is much more precise ...( personal feeling.) It seems the gun ..is much more precise than the rest.

I guess because of doctrine and also because in the USAF they have multiple assets. It makes sense for Air Forces relying solely on the F-16 for a fighting force to extend its range. I am also not sure if a CFT F-16 would maybe get in the way of a F-15E in the USAF. Poland, Israel (although they have F-15I) , Greece, Singapour, Turkey, Morocco, UAE, Oman .... those countries rely on the Viper as a long range strike fighter and some of those countries have no tanker asset in their own Air Force ... that would be the case of Greece and Morocco. My opinion is that it is more a question of doctrine and how different air forces fight and handle battle. Few air forces in the world are Strategic Air Forces .... you see more tactical Air Forces. And in the case of the USAF ... I don’t know what the addition of CFT’s would cost them and what kind of work they would have to do on the F-16 fleet ... maybe that money is used for more important projects ... Why ? I mean it is your right but Poland and Isreal have no Block 50. Block 50 USAF and Polish Block 52+ are different birds ... avionics etc etc And Israelis F-16I which is a two seater is a highly modified F-16 .... even the avionics ... some of it is in Hebrew. You can set impact angle for JDAM’s and also impact velocity in FPS .... needless to say if you set weird values you won’t get a range scale and bombs won’t come off. You can also set impact azimuth. But I don’t know how JDAM’s integrate with Hornet avionics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

what is wrong with what i wrote ?:cry: F-16 has IDM (Improved Data Modem) which is part of the datalink system. Then on top of that you also have Link 16. Maybe is should have written IDM instead of advaced datalink system.

i think that color MFD´s become necessary when you interate the notion of Link 16 and advanced data link system between airplanes. Different colors for different things. For example when firing an AIM-120 .. with an F-16 having monochrome MFD´s you will rely more on symbology to know at which stage your missile is at. When you have color MFD´s you can by the color back up the symbology information ( designated target turns purple and flashes and has a tail on it when the missile goes active). At the end of the day, job gets done, but colors are becoming necessary.

It would actually make sense to have a Block 30/32 for agressor F-16 to go along with the Nevada Map. And why not some ... advanced F-16 for the Middle East ? You just made me dream of à European map with EPAF F-16’s ... along with USAFE ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Based on the weapons they plan for it .... yes this should be the BLOCK 50 with multi color MFD’s. But monochrome doesn’t suck that bad you know .... again, based on the weapons they want to integrate ... the BLK50 with those weapons has color MFD’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It doesn’t depend on Block version. It depends on the software upgrade and yaer the ED BLK 50 will be modeled. For example USAF BLK50 have color MFD’s .... HAF block 50 have monochrome MFD’s .... HAF BLK 52+ have multicolor HAF and ROK BLK 30/32 have monochrome ANG BLK 30 have multicolor .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
