I've read somewhere here that you must play the track in mission editor, which is in most case true for Harrier, seems not the case for the cat tho.

Hmmmm, this seems explained what happened to me last night. Braking things is most enjoyed in sims. :D

I'm not sure if it is a bug or because of the classic electronics on the cat. I have a couple occasions that I lost the HUD readings / VDI or both when i made high G maneuvers, i don't remember the G number but high enough to shake the cat. Sometimes they will restore awhile after is ease off the stick, sometimes they lost forever. I thought the shaking brake the electronics?? Last night I did some play fight with a mig-28 and again lost the VDI when I was pulling some Gs. Then I realize the FPM was gone when I switch the HUD to landing mode.... Any of you encounter this? :joystick:

Boooom! I just tried again. 2x GBU-10 landed on target nicely :music_whistling: Slightly different moves this time, I latched the lazer before I release the bomb. And I adjusted the aim point a bit after release. track attached. Shower time now, gonna try more after it. gbu_working.trk

Tried manual attack mode & nose fuse. still no go. I did lateched the laser after releasing the bomb (i assume when i see the flashing L, im lasing the target?) I did also switch to Manual laser (from A1688 to M1688? ), or i have to see "LM"? I have some occasion get "LM" shown up but I never get to the correct procedures to get it......

Just started playing with the GBUs, but don't know why they dont hit my lased target… 1. I hv tracked my target in area track mode 2. hit "full action" button to lase it abit to get the release cue appears 3. align the cat to the target, level and staeady. 4. hit pickle when release cue hit the 2-tick mark 5. hit "laser latched" to get "L" flashing The bomb just gone free-fall, not following the laser… Anything I hv done wrong or missed? Somehow I just cant get point track to work?…

Or if you dont want to mess up the key binds from the patch released after the mod, you can copy the lantrin section from the mod .lua file to your F14 default.lua . I installed mine in this way.

I think the B model we have now is less vulnerable to flat spin? You might enjoy much more spin when HB release the original A with TF33??

Just my rough guess, I have not tried dropping bombs from the CAT yet, but my experience in AV-8B may give you some cue. Are you targeting the center of your target instead of the bottom of it? For example, you flying toward a ship from its tail. You want to target its tail instead of the center of the ship.

Hmmm, I have seen this before, but not on the AV-8, was on the community A-4, when i released all 6 mk-81/82 from the center line pylon and BOOM. I guess some bombs contacted each others in the air? The only explanation i can think of other than bug.

No one else use padlock or its just mine don't work???
