So we have empty missile racks as option in loadout. Is there a way to mod the rocket pods so we can have a empty pods for aerobatic fun??

Yep, the soft zone is for hover/takeoff in general. Have not tested in all conditions as I still tweaking the values. As I mentioned, the values above just for reference, everybody have different needs and different hardware, so one have to experiment to get their own sweetsopt.

After hours of trial and errors, I seemed getting the sweet spot in custom curves for my controllers. I get that flying the apache at the current FM/system state, smooth cyclic & collective adjustment is crucial. While practice make perfect, proper hardware setting/tweaks will help alot in the process. Here's my cyclic curve for ref. My goal is to get soft around the center while still responsive when needed. Note that I try to get as linear as possible outside the "soft" zone. The default curves can't meet my need. If you think the curve look weird? My rudder curve look even uglier! Below is my rudder curve, again I tried to get as linear as possible outside of the "soft" zone. The values definitely not suitable for everyone, one must try out your own values even with the same hardware. With the custom curve I'm able to take off into a "relatively" stable hover (can't really nail to a specific spot yet), the smoothly transition to forward flight, then back to hover and land. Just a bit of sharing on how I get my Apache enjoyable. Orzz

This recall my memory in MSFS, which a paid third party module called walk & follow. I guess ED might go that way

Did you updated DCS after the mod? I guess this file will be overwritten each time you update DCS.

** I'm not on the latest beta release yet (23 Dec, I think) ** As I remember, you have to link your HB cats to the carrier you are placing on, the wings will be swept then (it will still show as un-swept in ME, but will be swept when the mission is loaded). It works on both stock & supercarrier.

Awesome works as usual~! Thx Taz, with a little tweak, it worked nice for me. Vehicles at distance now shown as a tiny grey pixel, tiny enough that it can be spotted by looking around carefully so I don't have a strong cheating feel. \o/ It really just 1 or 2 pixel with 3x3 blur setting (black center dot, with grey blur/shadow).

Accept that or not, your flaps damaged. so you cannot sweep wings.
