Got it sorted out. It seems that the "T4" texture from the pack come without alpha channel, imported alpha to the texture fixed it. :music_whistling:

Nope, DCS crash on mission loading.

So track saving seems fixed in the latest beta? I saved my carrier landings to track and replay it always having myself slamming into the sea in the end. :joystick: This is happening since my first access to dcs 2.5.2.....

I tried that before getting av-8b, i feel more stutters with that. Any way, i found changing the dxt5 to dxt1 f'up the texture. So i do plain resize then. Reduced the total size from 438MB to 15MB, despite of occasion stutters, landing on Tarawa with 2 static av8 on it is much smoother now.

hmm, i have checked the texture of Tarawa, its insane to have ALL textures in 4096x4096. There are 9 normal maps in DXT5 @20MB+ each.... I think i will start with changing those normal maps to DXT1 and resize the crew textures, I don't think they need to be 4096x4096.... at least not for me.

hmmm I guess this mod should be more framerate friendly than the Tarawa from AV8B NA package? Is it compatible with the latest dcs 2.5.3 release?

Or you may try dump fuel instead? I remember there's fuel dump buttons on left side panel near the fuel control switch IIRC, have not tried them yet. As Im only 2 weeks in the harrier. :pilotfly:

Definitely not top notch stuff: CPU- i5 4570S RAM- 16GB Display - GTX1050 HDD - Intel SSD 730 series.

Is there any tweaks can be made on the Tarawa as I'm getting lots of stutters with it. Making it difficult to land on it. Switching the ship to a Stennis getting much smoother operation so I guess it is Tarawa model specific. Thanks.

I'm trying to fix the RedBull TF-51D in 2.5.2 after roughmet is introduced.. Was working fine until updated to 2.5.3, i found there's some ping edge's around the words (Screen Shot 10-11-18 at 10.48 PM.jpg) Have been trying to get rid of it by various nvidia settings without success, i reverted back to 2.5.2 its all good then (Screen Shot 10-13-18 at 11.03 AM.JPG). Anyone encountered this as well? :dunno:
