  1. Nope, in F4 Allied Force default key assignment, you also have CTRL / = First trigger detent, that as Subs17 and FlankerOne said, in AA combat activate the camera, and in AG combat is laser fire, if its equiped. ALT / = Seccond trigger detent, and it fires the gun. Try it using the keyboard. But remember its for Falcon 4 Allied Force, dont know any other version of Falcon 4. Thanks flankerOne, i will try that and see if it works. Thanks all for the help!
  2. How to program them in foxy? Because i tried that, and the second stage trigger, that should make the cannon to fire, does not work. I programme like this TMM File: Hotas_first_trigger_stage = CTL / Hotas_seccond_trigger_stage = ALT / TMJ File: TG1 /I Zoom_view /O /H Hotas_first_trigger_stage TG2 /H Hotas_seccond_trigger_stage And it does not work, when i fully press the trigger inside the sim, tha cannon does not fire, and it should. What i´m doing wrong?
  3. For cougar on Windows 7 64 bit follow the instructions on this site: http://www.cubpilotshangar.net/page105.html 1) If previously to install following this steps you already tried installing the sfotware, you must uninstall everything and manually delelte all the files and folders. 2) If you unistall, delete all files and folder, and the reinstall following the steps of the link, and still have problems, you are in the same trouble i found my self in. In this case, you have two options: A- Full reinstall of windows 7, and then fresh install of the software following the steps of the link (not very good option). B- Use restore point and return windows 7 to a previous state before the FIRST time that you installed (or tried intalling) the cougar drivers. Also not a pretty solution, but better than the first one. I had two installs of windows 7 on two partitions, one for working and the other for gaming. When i encountered the problems with Cougar drivers, i followed the steps of the link, but still couldn´t make it work. When i tried installing on the other windows 7 install, the one i use for work, i followed the steps and since it was a FRESH install, it worked flawlesly. So i didn´t know what to do, noh motter how many times i tried uninstalling the software on my gaming partition and reinstalling, it never worked. Until i used restore point to a previous state before the first time i installed the software, and that SOLVED it. Now its all working great, on both partitions, though i dont use the one on my work windows 7 install. :)
  4. I have a problem with the programming of the trigger on the Cougar. In F4 AF i assigned the first stage of the trigger to the key combination "CTRL /" which in F4 AF is Hotas first trigger detenta, and the seccon stage if assignes to "ALT /" which hotas seccond trigger detent. The problem comes that the seccond trigger detent does not work. It does work using the keyboard, but no with the Cougar. In resume, the cannon does not fire when i press it. I beleive the problem comes because the cougar and sim seem like i keep pressing the first trigger detent when i press the seccond. I see this also when testing the keypress when i load tmj file on the cougar. How can i program to make that when i use the seccond trigger detent, the first stage stops working? I don´t want to change the default key assignments of the sim. This problem i also had it with IL-2, but there programming directx butons to the trigger, and assign them on the sim solved it, but that its somethin i dont want to do here. I also looked on Foxy help manuals, and on the web, but couldn´t find anything about the trigger stages programming. :( Thanks for the help. :)
  5. Hotas Cougar. And i did it using foxy, but the behaviour its not as good as i expected. That´s why i decided to ask, because considering that you can assing the movement of the Shkval gate to an axis, you could maybe do the same to the gate size on the sim, considering that in reality its a rotary knob.
  6. Is it possible to assign the shkval tracking gate size to a rotary of the hotas? For the picture of the collective on the manual, the shkval gate size is controlled with a rotary on the collective, but surprisingly, at least for me on the controllers menu you don´t have the option of assigning the gate size to an axis. Since maybe i miss something, i choose to have confirmation if its possible to do it or not. Thanks!
  7. I got the same problem that the original post, but on windows 7 64bit :(. Sent email to thrustmaster but noh answer for the moment.
  8. I can't remember, but there ever was an official ED poll asking what aircraft were preferred?. Giving options of aircraft that could be modeled at the level of the Ka50, not aircraft like F35 and such that most information is classified. Since we can only wish, and what i would like most is a Harrier 2, considering that the next module will be the A-10 and for the moment we have a focus on AG combat, i would prefer next to have the counterparts to the Ka50 and the A-10. Which i think would mean have the Su25 and the Apache or Supercobra (i prefer the seccond :) ). So we can FoF operations withe similar roles for both sides. And keeping the wishing line, it would be best to move to the AA aspect of the sim, after having the counterparts of the A10 and Ka50, by a single module with two aircraft with AA capabitly (Su27 and F15) or what ever combination you can think of. For me, the most important, is that we have the opotunity to have some kind of balanced FoF operations, with attacker, escort and interception roles. Such is my wish! :)
  9. Thanks a lot guys!
  10. What must i change to have the ABRIS and EKRAN on english? Can i do it with notepad? Thanks!
  11. I posted this on the mission forum but without succes of anybody seeing the same problem. I have two problems with the S-3B on a mission than i'm making: 1- I want to make it land on a carrier, and start circling around the carrier, maneuvering like a roller coaster, and never lands. The carrier haves a good speed to allow the aircraft to land. It's a USA carrier, not the Kuznetsov, just in case you ask. Is there something that must be done on waypoints to aircarft that will land on carriers? 2- I created a group with the S-3b of two aircraft, but only one shows up in the mission. In case is needed, i can send a track and/or the mission. I dont post a url here since i don't have a place on internet to upload it.
  12. I meant that i use the hotas throttle as a collective, but i have to push it to increase lift.
  13. Being an old il2 mission builder, and learning to be one with BS, i would say that in single player i would leave random failures outside of missions, since the failures in BS are critical, and any of them could mean a RTB loosing the oportunity to have a succesfull mission. Multiplayer is another issue, because you usually have more "aircrafts" that those really needed, like in real life, since aircrafts, or helicopter, are subject to have failures, and that would result with the aircraft leaving the mission, but the flight can still acomplish the objective. That's one of the reasons of why you usually assign extra or back up units to the same objective. In anyway, probability of failure should be very low, and i use no more than 3% of probability, but still think that the editor should allow failures below 1%, to become more realistic, specially for the critical failures that we have now. Still i would love to have less critical failures, to make some missions more challenging, like loosing ABRIS, or HUD, laser, or any other instrument or avionic system. Because i'm a very evil person, i'm drooling imagining making a mission where you have to manually enter on the ABRIS the objectives and waypoints of the entire flightplan and later on make you loose the ABRIS, so you must rely on your kneemap, printed fligh plant, and memory to acomplish the mission, like you should in real life. :D
  14. Push, because its very diferent from a collective, and also don't loose custom of the use of the throttle with aircraft sims. I choose a little loss of realism in exchange of trying to keep things similar.

  16. It surely will, but its very helpfull since you got several functions on the same button, according to the weapon, radar function, or whateever. It also helps to no having to program diferent keystrokes on diferent buttons when they are only used on certain important occations, while in the real thing are managed with the same button. For present and ex F4 sim pilots, will make it easier to learn. Even if maybe the button perform a diferent action.
  17. Uhmm, the joystick looks exactly like the one of the F16. I hope we get the same multifunctional buttons so we can programm them on the hotas, like the TMS, DMS and so on on F4. Noh intention to start a "what's better sim" threat. :). Beautyful pics anyway, looking forward for this plane.
  18. Hi, By mistake, i started uncompressing the files on the D:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin folder. When i realize of the mistake, i cancel it, and decompressed the files on the D:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable folder, like it's suppose to be. Now, which files from the \bin folder should i erase so i don't have duplicated files? All the files that have the same name of the zip file?
  19. Ok, lets give a try!. There are several questions. 1) In F4 AF i want to make that when i press the T6 button with the shift button (S3) i want to activate the ECM, but it must be active for four secconds, then deactivate for two secconds, reactivate for 4 secconds, and so on, until i press the T6 button again using the S3 button. How can i do that? I know i must use the logical toggle and the pulse function, and i made it work but without the use of the shift button (S3), with this code: Joystick file DEF X1 PULSE(4000 2000) T6* BTN X1 ECM Macross file ECM = j But i need to make it work with the /I slash modifier, but couldn't do it. The /O slash modifier have the uncage function. 2) With the code of above, if i press the T6 button again, then the pulse function stopped but the ECM continue to work if i pressed it when it was active. I want to shut down permanently the ECM when i press the T6 button again, even if a do it when the ECM is emiting. Noh idea how to do that, if its possible. 3) Form Jagstang profile i took this code to make the S3 button work like the real pinky buttonm, and also work like a shift button when is pressed. I would like if someone can explain me the logic of the code, because i'm still can't understand it. Joystick file BTN S3 KD(X19) DLY(200) KU(X19) DEF X18 X19 AND ( NOT S3 ) BTN X18 Hotas_Pinky Macross files Hotas_Pinky = ALT v The use of the logical flags is far more complex than the explanation that the manual give, at least to understan well how it works with something more complex than the examples of the manual. :) Thanks in advance!
  20. Thanks, downloading now! :)
  21. Hi, I'm having troubles with the logical programming of the Cougar. The problem is that it is F4 AF related, not DCS (my profile of BS works fine and without the need of any logical programming :) ). So i would like to know if there is somebody that can answer me some questions here on this forum (if it is allowed) or by personal email. I registrered on Frugalsworld forum over a month now, but i never received the final aprovement to post on that forum, so i can't make questions there. Thanks in advance!
  22. I would like that if you release a printed manual for buying, it will have the database included. It become very tedious and uncomfortable to exit and enter the mission editor several times to see what it is each object that you can put on a mission. When you are not familiar with all the vehicles, ships and weapons, a good printed database for building missions becomes very very handy.
  23. Thanks Airway and CyBerkut for the help and welcoming! I finally installed the microsoft.NET Runtime, and with that i could install the latest SST version with the new drivers, and now i can make and LOAD profiles to the X-52. The only problem is that the SST doesn't recognize the RIGHT SHIFT, but fortunately for BLACK SHARK most of the main functions that you need on the HOTAS do not use the RIGHT SHIFT key. And the other problem is that the programing of the pedals with bands for assigning a key, doesn't work. IL-2 and Black Shar recognize the axis, but doesn't work assigning the "B" key (wheel brakes on IL-2) to the pedals when you push them. Still, it's something that doesn't disturb me since the most important is that now i can load profiles to the X-52 :). Thx again!
