The rheostats should all work individual. Out of memory; top left - overhead panel, top right - central pedestal, mid left - main panel flood light, mid right - engine instruments, bottom left - copilot instruments, bottom right - pilot instruments. The rheostats did get there long awaited attention with the release of 1.5 OpenBeta :)

This is perfectly normal. In real life a pilot can check the instruments in a glance just by making sure all instrument needles are pointing in the same directions during normal flight. If one of the needles is giving a malfunction reading it is not alligned with the rest of the needles anymore making it easier to determine what is wrong in an instance.

It seems to me that the governor switch is reversed since 1.5. The up position used to be the automatic mode. In 1.5 down is automatic mode. Anyone else noticed this?

It is important to double check the file structure of your cockpit mod, because with 1.5 came a slightly changed file tree. Most mods aren't yet adapted for 1.5 but you can quite simply do it yourself.

Any self-respecting pilot would let the ground crew do the cleaning :smilewink:

Could you please double check that because line 740 says [1] = 0, I would like to have all my chat text in white. Can that be done?

Hi, I noticed the distance tool is not working anymore. You can select it but neither left or right mouse click activates it. EDIT: Sorry, my mistake, works perfectly fine. Can be removed.

The glareshield fan still isn't working so therefore it is unacceptable to get the Mi-8 out of beta :smilewink:

Apparently it can't be turned off anymore within the options menu. Don't know if it can be done from within the graphics.lua file.

Dear ED, Could you please make the trains landable again. Since Black Shark 2 we can no longer land on the trains, which used to be a great feature in DCS. It took some skills to land on a train. Now that we have the Huey and the Mi-8, we can't do that anymore. Please put it back into DCS World :thumbup:

Are the axis of the stick and the throttle moving in the CH Manager? I had a problem with my CH Pro Pedals where the axis did not move. Try the test/calibration tab within the CH Manager and click on Rescan. This made my Pro Pedals work again. Hope it does the same for your controllers.

You could try to run the Windows repair function from your Windows installation disc. I did the same after Windows 7 got corrupted after messing around in the system files. Alt-tab didn't work for me before that and after running the repair all was fine again.

...and you will most likely not find any info about it. I do not have a website since it is just a small server. It is called Hot Blade - HELI Ops. It will be up and running on weekdays (although not for a long time due to work) and in the weekends. It is not a combat server, just flight training. The goal of the server is to provide a place where you can fly the helos by the book instead of overtorqueing all the time. The chosen airport is Anapa because this location gives the smoothest fps.

Stirring up an old threat. Here is my situation: HOTAS Cougar (heavily modified = long shaft, non self centering, hall sensors) and G27 force feedback steering wheel Because of the G27, DCS is being tricked in thinking the Cougar is ffb, therefore I have ticked the FFB setting in options. I want to use the trimmer button only to set the heading channel. What happens is when I press and hold the trimmer button, the Shark responds with a bit nose down action. It shouldn't be doing this because of the FFB option being enabled. Any thoughts on this? All the other helicopters work wonderful this way.
