LOL I am reading through this thread and every single person bar MTFDarkEagle, who has only had his for a couple months, so their is plenty of time yet, but apart from him, everyone else has also broken theirs :) NP need to take their finger out of their collective Assess and develop something similar but which is far more reliable and make it so that it wont break if you give it a dirty look. I decided to use superglue to glue it back on, basically glued it onto the tiny rubber O ring, now the part with the leds on it cannot swivel due to the glueing. It shouldnt be too much of a problem, as I played il2 all morning and also checked out dcsa10 and everything is working OK, so fingers crossed it stays like that. Cheers for the replies, it gave me a laugh knowing that everyone elses is broke also :) Atleast this gives me some more time with it before it does eventually kick the bucket due to its uniquely indestructable manufacturing process.

Phew, least he is staying in the game and, I agree with his thoughts, iOS, consoles, etc etc, a sim on any of them ??? Oleg is born for what he does and no way could he just walk away from it all, ok he may take a break, but I personally cant see him just give it all up and walk away, change the style of his working practises and get away from UBI, possibly and fingers crossed hopefully, but Oleg in my opinion is here to stay. But sayign all that I wouldnt put it past him to walk away at somepoint, you just have to look at all the whiny 10whiners and all the other "X version plane had this or does this but doesnt in the sim" moaners that propogate the il2 forums. If ED think they have it bad, I bet they are glad that they dont get the same volume of whiners and moaners as Oleg does.

Yea, the title says it all, why it lasted so long I will never know, as it was already held together by elastic bands, but numb nutz me went to grab something and my arm knocked the led portion of the track clip pro out of its holder and broke one of the 2 little leg clips that hold it in place. So, is it worth buying another piece of cheap chinese plastic that will undoubtably fail within 2 years time, or is the normal hat tracking system just as precise as the track clip pro ? I havent used the normal method as I never got around to it and now I cant find the bloody thing, but I dont really fancy having a hat on my head to play a game. I know this thread serves 0 purpose, more of a way for me to share my FAIL with you all, but I would like replies from those of you who have used both types of tracking system, clip pro and the metal hat thingy, to help me figure out whats the better of the two and if its worth spending another 40 quid on a piece of plastic with 3 leds on it. :helpsmilie:

The second picture, how did you get the green low vis lights to be turned on without the top white light ? Because I cant get those lo-vis lights to just be enabled by themselves, their is always the top white nav light enabled with them, which kinda defeats the purpose, so how did you get them to be enabled by themselves as I would love to know. TBH, I dont see what the big deal is ? the dude uploaded the entire movie minus the music, GA is still named as the maker at the end of the video, the dude who posted it is just advertising the game and what it looks like and where to buy serials from, which in all liklihood can be legitimate, I have no idea if they are legit or not, but he hasnt exactly "ripped" GA's movie, he just reuploaded it to utub with different music like millions of other utub videos. I see it as an ad, the dude puts the video up on youtube as an ad for people to goto that site to buy a serial for it. If it is a legit site then I really dont see the Big deal about why their is a thread 4 pages long dedicated to the subject of GA's video being ripped. I might be missing something, if I am please share, but I really dont see this as the big deal that everyone else seems to think it is. Afterall, he isnt saying "He" made it is he ? Yea thats what usually happens, muliple IFR, I dont think I have ever heard of them landing or taking off elsewhere to do a job, unless an emergency dictated it.

I was reading on another website how some company boss in california tried to buy iodine tablets for his workers, when he couldnt get any because they had all been bought already, he went out and purchased bloody seaweed for everyone instead. I think that image has been made just to scare americans into thinking that they are at risk of huge doses of radiation when its likely that if anything, the radiation will be very minimal if it reaches them at all.

Hassata, my old cat used to do that, it was grey coloured aswell, the cause for my cat was heart failure causing lack of oxygen, it was exactly like the cat in the video, but he suffered from it for a few years before he passed. I suspect that the cat in the video is suffering something similar ?

Not sure if this is true, but listening to bbc news today, the Japanese Emperor said somethign about the quake being 9.7. I havent been keeping in the loop as I have been busy all day, but has the strength of the quake shot up from 9.0-9.1 all the way to 9.7 ?

Japan news is reporting that the last 2 reactors at the site, which has 6 in total, and which 3 were shutdown for maintenance when the quake/tsunami struck, the temps in them are rising, reactors 5 and 6. a pic below of now and during WW2, scarily similar...

When did that happen ? right now ? As far as I am aware, this is the situation. Reactor 1, roof blown off in first explosion Reactor 3, roof blown off in second explosion Reactor 4, fire, supposedly been put out. Reactor 2, third explosion which has damaged/ruptured the suppression tank/pool. No fourth explosion has taken place I dont think ? unless it has just this minute happened ??? but BBC is showing Sport news and so is SKY, hmmm.

I think they said that the increased radiation is coming from the fire in reactor 4, old fuel burning ? I have no idea what the situation really is, but one station said that the radiation seems to be rising from the fire in reactor 4. Now whether that is true or not and the rad is coming from reactor 2 instead, I have absoluetly no idea.
