Take On Helicopter - New game by Bohemia Interactive

that shit is nuts  -
Actually, its nearer 1000, the so called fifty were only 50 for a very very short time. Normally their is roughly about 750-800 people onsite so they say, the international media made the "50" thing famous when it isnt exactly the truth, as only for a very short time back at the begining was their just 50 people onsite and that was only for a few hours, then the next day it went to 150 as you say and within hours back upto closer to 1000, where it has remained more or less since. When the place isnt being evacuated due to spike in radiation, their is a whack of people their working on it. If their was just 50 people working onsite and having to contend with all 6 reactors, the place would be in a much much worse condition than it is in atm. Still, its a shit job no matter how one looks at it.

What happens if you attack the C130 from the right hand side ? :) But I agree with ya, C130 gunship is an amazing thing, one of my Fav's.

One of the things that bugs me about my warthog is the red china hat button is now starting to wear away to a white colour :( You would of thought for the price of these things that they would of had red plastic buttons that are actually red all the way through instead of just on the surface. I have only had mine for a month, so judging by mine, others china hat button must be worse than what mine is I would think ? -
Take On Helicopter - New game by Bohemia Interactive

seems like we are gunna get spoiled with new flight sims this year, dcs a10, cliffs of dover, jet thunder, now this. If things continue the same as the last two recent releases, the other two I named will be buggy and not worth playing for 6 months after release no doubt ? But atleast new flight sims are coming our way which is the main thing. -
Its all over the news in Scotland that radiation from Japan is in the air and sea. Short term Iodine they say, so it shoudlnt cause any problems.

Already tried that also, sadly its a no go :( TBH, I am about to nuke this install as my ssd's need to be cleaned out as they are slowing down and since they are in raid mode trim isnt working, so I am about to kill everything and start again, hopefully when I do that a clean install will be ok ?

GG, If thats the cause, then I cant believe since fc2 came out and up until say 2 months ago when I stopped playing it with my x52, then I started playing it again 1 week ago with my new stick. I just cant believe that I never noticed it in all that time. Ahwell, I guess I will have to live with it, I also notice the f15 is like it aswell, it now has a brownish box at the bottom of the hud now where it didnt have previously in fc1/lockon. If I noticed it earlier then my brain must be like a sieve... If its the same for everyone else then I will get over it. Cheers.

Thank you for posting a solution, but it's a solution for some other problem, as it doesnt do anything for the problem I am facing :( I tried with small steps then big steps and each and every time I flew to test it, it was exactly the same as before. I am starting to think it maybe my thrustmaster warthog stick doing something, what I dont know, but I will figure soemthing out.
-
Yea, it has something to do with G, the ingame G setting doesnt have any effect, but I could of sworn that my 25t didnt do this before, I havent played for ages mind you, but I am sure it wasnt like this before or I would of remembered it, well I think I would of. I will take a look into disabling it when I have some free time to hunt for the file, or fingers crossed someone smarter than me suddenly comes along and posts the answer for me :)

Let me take all this in, the pic above was taken with no TIR enabled, I used the numpad to turn the view, it was just plain FC2 quick mission 25t, when the mission started I pushed forward on my stick and the front of the plane seems to lift up into the hud, when I pull back it goes the other way. Now if its 6dof, how do I disable it ? because it happens with and without tir enabled. I also thought FC2 only had 3dof ? GG, is their a way to fix it ? and does the same also happen in your version of fc2 ? if their is no straight up fix available, do you or anyone have any ideas on how to fix it ?
-
Does anyone know what is causing this, I noticed it 2 days ago after not playing fc2 for a while, I couldnt figure it out, then I reinstalled the game just now and everything is stock, no mods and yet it still happens. Pushing down and pulling up makes the pitot tubes and the front of the aircraft rise and fall, which in turn ends up with an ugly see through part of the aircraft when looking out of the HUD. I patched to 1.2.1 and its still the same, so I really have no idea what the cause is. I am using TIR and warthog stick if that should matter ??? Please if anyone has any ideas about what causes it from a fresh install, please let me know so that I can fix it, cheers.

If they went electric, the speeds would be crazy, seriously. I reckon they would be much faster with electric than they are with normal engines, but whats the point, they would get restricted and slowed down with each new season and each new stupid rule and end up the same speed as combustion engines. I want to see racing cars go 500mph around tracks stuck to the ground like glue and doing moves like the bikes in tron.
-
Yea, I seen this in a programme a few weeks ago, nifty little thing that will hopefully make landing easier in brownouts.
-
In the pic, of what I can make out, I had roughly 14 or 15 of those titles, maybe more if I could see clearly, but some rows I cant see what the names are, but for the ones I can see my total is around 14/15. Certainly brings back memories :)

Isnt that what we watch it for ? :P Joking aside, bernie and the nazi make some weird decisions in F1, I think its time they passed the reigns over to someone else.

LOL I am reading through this thread and every single person bar MTFDarkEagle, who has only had his for a couple months, so their is plenty of time yet, but apart from him, everyone else has also broken theirs :) NP need to take their finger out of their collective Assess and develop something similar but which is far more reliable and make it so that it wont break if you give it a dirty look. I decided to use superglue to glue it back on, basically glued it onto the tiny rubber O ring, now the part with the leds on it cannot swivel due to the glueing. It shouldnt be too much of a problem, as I played il2 all morning and also checked out dcsa10 and everything is working OK, so fingers crossed it stays like that. Cheers for the replies, it gave me a laugh knowing that everyone elses is broke also :) Atleast this gives me some more time with it before it does eventually kick the bucket due to its uniquely indestructable manufacturing process.

Phew, least he is staying in the game and, I agree with his thoughts, iOS, consoles, etc etc, a sim on any of them ??? Oleg is born for what he does and no way could he just walk away from it all, ok he may take a break, but I personally cant see him just give it all up and walk away, change the style of his working practises and get away from UBI, possibly and fingers crossed hopefully, but Oleg in my opinion is here to stay. But sayign all that I wouldnt put it past him to walk away at somepoint, you just have to look at all the whiny 10whiners and all the other "X version plane had this or does this but doesnt in the sim" moaners that propogate the il2 forums. If ED think they have it bad, I bet they are glad that they dont get the same volume of whiners and moaners as Oleg does.

Yea, the title says it all, why it lasted so long I will never know, as it was already held together by elastic bands, but numb nutz me went to grab something and my arm knocked the led portion of the track clip pro out of its holder and broke one of the 2 little leg clips that hold it in place. So, is it worth buying another piece of cheap chinese plastic that will undoubtably fail within 2 years time, or is the normal hat tracking system just as precise as the track clip pro ? I havent used the normal method as I never got around to it and now I cant find the bloody thing, but I dont really fancy having a hat on my head to play a game. I know this thread serves 0 purpose, more of a way for me to share my FAIL with you all, but I would like replies from those of you who have used both types of tracking system, clip pro and the metal hat thingy, to help me figure out whats the better of the two and if its worth spending another 40 quid on a piece of plastic with 3 leds on it. :helpsmilie:

ED SIMS SCREENSHOT AND VIDEO THREAD!!!! (NO USER MODS OR COMMENT)
bumfire replied to rekoal's topic in Screenshots and Videos
The second picture, how did you get the green low vis lights to be turned on without the top white light ? Because I cant get those lo-vis lights to just be enabled by themselves, their is always the top white nav light enabled with them, which kinda defeats the purpose, so how did you get them to be enabled by themselves as I would love to know. Cheers.
