Using the Sennheiser that was bundled with my Asus Xonar Xense. Very good, though I'm not sure what they're called on the "open market".

Do you have those modules installed? -
You should be able to install the newer version of DCS P-51D through the Module Manager. Basically, the autoupdater gets new versions slightly faster than the website (it takes a while to "build" the installers), but the Module Manager does run through the AutoUpdater, so that one will already have it.

You've got it pretty much right there - it is possible for a publisher to do this, but it would not be free nor automatic; essentially they end up paying whatever license fee Valve charges for each key and then shuttle these out to the customers. When this is already factored in (like when they say on kickstarters and similar that "you'll get a Steam key if we manage to get the game on steam") they'll already have factored this into their calculation. -

It will, at least as long as Steam continues to work as it does now. It'll say "XXXXXX is playing Non-Steam Game DCS World". -

Not up to ED. Valve is a for-profit company, and downloading stuff on their servers is a cost to them. Allowing games to be moved to their platform even though they received no money for the purchase is a bad idea financially; they do allow it for their own games (no surprise), for games that use their own DRM etcetera, and there have been a few exceptions outside of that where it is unknown what kind of deal happened in the background. When was the last time you were able to move a game purchase done on Origin to Steam, for example? ;) -
And adding to that, there is the issue that such a proxy would include multiple price points for the same products - through sales and such promotions, through different vendors giving different royalties etcetera etcetera.

I still think Airwolf is the correct answer. ;) Just in case; you're not a child of the 80's? Would be a shame if you didn't pick up the obvious joke. :)

Agreed.

Have you checked that there is no profiling software (for example X52) sending a shift command on the keyboard? Shift-start would cause activation dialog.
-
It didn't vanish. You had posted in a different thread. ;) No worries, I'll merge the threads together.

I can't give such an estimate (yet) unfortunately, but the underlying cause is known and being worked on as a top priority.

Eagle Dynamics is a privately held company. Even under "rest of europe" laws, the detailed reporting you talk of would not be necessary. In the EU, you would be able to get turnover and "profits before taxes" numbers, pretty much, on such a company. (In Russia, I don't know, I never checked.) Publically traded companies can be a different matter, there are much more detailed public accounting laws for those.

Hi, We are very sorry for the inconvenience; there is a technical issue that we are working on that currently prevents our e-shop from accepting these codes.

No, it wasn't. You were complaining about a graphical effect that has ZERO impact in this area. You claimed it was factually incorrect. Then people who, as a PROFESSION, have been in the relevant situation told you that you were wrong. You ignored this. Rather, you required that the people who said you were wrong should supply YOU with evidence. This doesn't work. Now, by this time in the thread, you have already been exposed to the relevant information you need to reach a conclusion. Go ahead. DO THE MATH. You know, that thing you should have done BEFORE you stated as fact that bullets don't bounce on water - something everyone that has done service in the navy knows that yeah... they do! There are no "superfluous effects" here. Indeed, when you discussed the issue of calculating this, you expressed doubt that DCS did that. Which it doesn't, in this case. So, Biba: Express your complain clearly: WHAT, EXACTLY, is wrong? And no sidetracks that anyone that read the earlier parts of the thread can disprove, please. EDIT: As a reminder, this was your complaint: It's just wrong. Let's take this: "The advantage out of it is that the Graphic-Card has less calculation to fulfill" The GPU doesn't have the slightest clue about bullets. Literally. Whatever you do in this context, the GPU doesn't care. It does exactly ZERO of the associated calculations. Why? Because it's a GRAPHICS PROCESSING UNIT! ;)

Ehm, did you get a typo there? The 6600 is a card released in 2004. Did you mean 660? I wonder, because 670 is a PCIe, and if I recall right the 6xxx series needed a bridge to work with PCIe. Looks like a very strange upgrade, and any CPU from back then would be WAY below minimum specification for DCS World.

Depending on vendor, there are tools for this. When I bought my Samsung SSD it did include tools towards cloning. I didn't use it though, so I can't say what would actually happen.

Sure, I'm game with that. But given that waves can have considerable deflection from the mean surface, it does thus follow that you might be able to get ricochets even at >30. Can we agree on that too?
-
Aye. GAU-8 is somewhere around 3500 feet per second: but remember that this is muzzle velocity. Sitting close to ground and shooting a rifle at the surface means the projectile will retain most of it's KE. An attack aircraft typically strafes from a mileor so away, meaning the projectiles will have bled a LOT of it's KE before striking. Conclusion: the rounds of an attack aircraft most likely strike with less velocity than the M16 - and since velocity squares for energy, might have a LOT less energy to play with compared to other factors. (Yes, the rounds are bigger, but they also have a greater contact area.)

I don't think your power supply will complain at all, actually. The upper-tier 400-series cards were power-hogs. The 770 is not.
