It's possible that this was the case. It happened two times in two different missions at Syria. I'm tryin' to reproduce.

Well, it seems that George learned to avoid VRS, but now he sometimes cannot manage to obtain a hover and continues flying at speeds of 20 to 40 IAS. I'll open a new thread fot this issue as soon as I have a short track.

Instead complaining about missing features of this early access AH-64D we should be happy about the current released basic FCR features, which was a really nice christmas present. I'm looking forward to the zoom function and the LINK mode as well, but we have to be patient.

not a bug NDB at Kutasi not working
AstonMartinDBS replied to NIGHTHAWK1's topic in Bugs and Problems
Did you also try the NDB frequency 477 kHz? As KTS isn't stored as a preset in the AH-64D by default, you have to manually set the frequency to 477 kHz. For further references see pages 255 ("Tuning the ADF to an NDB Frequency") and 256 ("Editing an ADF Preset" in the AH-64D Early Access Guide. Here's a short track: CA AH-64D ADFNavigationTraining Kutaisi.trk and a tiny training mission: CA AH-64D ADF Navigation Training.miz -
must be on same preset Datalink FARM - gives me XMIT NAK
AstonMartinDBS replied to fjacobsen's topic in DCS: AH-64D
That's really sad. Adding the functionality to send my Fire Zones to the AI wingmen would be a great addition. Currently it isn't possible to coordinate a simultaneously attack of a target area with the AI wingmen. Either I have to shoot first and the wingmen have to wait or vice versa, otherwise there is a high risk that me and my wingmen attack the same target. -

Which features of the DL are currently available for interaction with the AI? I didn't find any yet. -
Currently we have to use the mouse to switch from field to field when we setup Unit IDs and Call Signs in the tab "DATALINKS". Adding the functionality to switch to the next/previous textfield using [TAB] respectively [Shift]+[Tab] (as usual in similar tabs of the ME, like in the tab "RADIO SETTINGS") would be a great improvement. EDIT: This topic may better fit into the forum https://forum.dcs.world/forum/815-mission-editor-bugs/

correct as-is MGRS conversion issue
AstonMartinDBS replied to AstonMartinDBS's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
That's it! I didn't know that hitting ENTER is required after selecting *CNVRT* in the DED. Thanks @Furiz! -
After entering MGRS coordinates and elevation for STPT 21 and Dobber right (SEQ) the conversion doesn't work. The result appears immediately (instead after a delay of 2 - 3) and looks like this: What am I doin' wrong? Track: NV F-16C MGRSConversionIssue.trk

Thanks for confirming @silverdevil & @Flappie.

[NVCP] AA mode: off, [DCS] AA: off -> same issue [NVCP] AA mode: default (application-controlled), [DCS] AA: off -> same issue [NVCP] AA mode: default (application-controlled), [DCS] AA: DLAA, [DCS] UPSCALING: off, [NVCP] AA gamma correction: off -> same issue [NVCP] AA mode: default (application-controlled), [DCS] AA: DLAA, [DCS] UPSCALING: DLSS, [NVCP] AA gamma correction: default -> same issue I also tried to change SHARPENING from 0,5 to 0 and 1, but that hadn't any effect to this issue either. Did you watch the whole track (~1 Minute)? Which GPU do you have? BTW: I'm using the latest nVidia drivers (546.17 DCH)
-
I don't think so. I've tried several AA options (DLAA only, DLAA with DLSS, MSAA 2x, MSAA 4x) - sadly always with the same result.
-
Well, changing Upscaling from "DLSS" to "OFF" enabled the drop-down Anti-Aliasing, which I've set to "DLAA". But changing this settings didn't solve the issue, the color of the powerlines is still weird: When I'm understand the grapical options correct then setting Upscaling from "OFF" to "DLSS" just locks the setting Anti-Aliasing to "DLAA", but doesn't disable it. It wjust greyed-out, but not invisible. This could mean that DLSS is requiring DLAA. Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

You can see this weird colored powerlines in Caucasus when you fly low and look against a bright, foggy or cloudy background. Settings: Track: CA UH-1H PowerlinesWiredColoring.trk Log: dcs.log

Good to know, thanks @draconus! Great! Thanks for your feedback! -
(Desktop-)Shortcut for MT version of DCS?
AstonMartinDBS replied to AstonMartinDBS's topic in Steam Support
This should work - AFAIK you have to use the the openbeta to run the MT version at all. [MT is available in OB and Stable as well - see post below from @draconus] And pay attention to modify the link correctly if you rename the default URL from the ST version steam://rungameid/223750 for the MT version steam://launch/223750/option1 Initially I only added "/option1" to the default URL "steam://rungameid/223750", which didn't work. Use the correct URL "steam://launch/223750/option1" instead and it will work. -
Roger! I've modified your fixed mission and enabled the George AI (see attachment). I made no other changes. PG AH-64D MountainCOIN (fv21).miz

v0.6.1 available: tiny adjustments for the latest DCS Open Beta version; checklist order optimized;

Is it intended that the possibility to activate the George UI has been deactivated? This makes it impossible to run this mission as CP/G.

Thanks for your effort!
