Does the DCS freeze in single player?

DCS crash using Oculus Quest 2 on supercarrier missions still continuing
maximov replied to A A ron's topic in Game Crash
I think this won't solve the problem. As you can see, the appearance of the error 2022-02-24 02:02:41.760 ERROR DX11BACKEND: failed to create structed buffer. Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED does not depend on the terrain. I suggest paying attention to the video card. At what frequency does the core of your video card work when the DCS is running? To get this information, you can use AfterBurner from MSI, GPU-Z from TechPowerUp or other similar utilities. Please attach a screenshot of the result. -

I suggest running the same mission at maximum graphics settings. Or try flying over the Caucasus in multiplayer. As an experiment. P.S. Thank you. I found your reports on the server. -

Repeated crashes in Syria map, PC specs should be fine!
maximov replied to wiwa23's topic in Game Crash
A file of the form dcs.2022xxxxx-xxxxx.crash contains only the final part of the report. Please try to find another file like dcs.20220218-171904.log (or "dcs"). -
Try rolling back to an older version of the video card driver (for example, 472): https://www.nvidia.ru/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en

32 GB of RAM should be enough to play offline missions without VR. But in your case it is not enough for some reason. The map of Syria is the largest and most detailed of the entire set of terrains ED. Maybe that's why? Increase the page file to 20-25 GB. It's completely free. -
Yes, you will can. You can always delete a failed campaign.

It is: 2022-02-13 21:19:51.191 ERROR DX11BACKEND: failed to create vertex buffer. Reason: E_OUTOFMEMORY OUT OF MEMORY -
Alas, this is not possible. Steam does not allow you to use licenses from other stores.
-
Just disable offline mode
-
No, I don't like it. You will not be able to log in to the new DCS installation until you disable offline on the old computer.

crash while middle of loading bar with visualizer start simulation status
maximov replied to MivwTaupos's topic in Game Crash
This is the folder with your settings. There should not be ZIP folders here. -
Please delete all unofficial mods, rename the folder C:\Users\DAVIDE\Saved Games\DCS.open beta in any name and run the repair

activation after hardware issue not working
maximov replied to GunnyCook's topic in Payment and Activation
Check the antivirus permission for the new DCS folder. Some more additional information can be found here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/authorization/#3315427 -
zhouyut001, thank you for the nice review of our simulator. Can I ask you to write a request to technical support about the failures of the game? You can also attach dcs.log after the crash here on the forum. The only report of yours that I could find in another forum thread shows no signs of the game crashing. By the way, according to this report you have 32GB of RAM. Also screen flickering or blackening of the screen "after DCS update" have signs of video card failure, but not a bug in Mi-24 (this is my personal opinion).

A-10C from "Distributors" source - no upgrade option?
maximov replied to dmatt76's topic in Payment and Activation
I understand you. Unfortunately, nothing can really be changed (or checked) right now. But I think it's the store's mistake. -

No, you don't have to. But make sure that offline mode is turned off.
